As expected, the Republicans end up with an incredibly weak field of candidates, all of whom will lose to Barack Obama Carter. It is a field stacked with globalists, rinos, so-called Tea Party champions, and Bush-controlled zombies. There is one constitutionalist in the pack, hardly noticed if even tolerated, who, if he doesn’t distinguish and explain himself, has no chance of winning the republican nomination. None of them will touch the constitutional issue of Hussein’s constitutional ineligibility.
My own feeling is that Ron Paul’s monetary knowledge and platform is what is behind everyone ignoring him…and I do believe TPTB will never let Paul get to the presidency.
For political expediency the republicans would rather keep running against Obama after his re-election to ensure their power base. For them, the Constitution, the economy, the people of America be damned.
Woo-hoo! We get to ‘choose’ between two globalists–Obama the usurper, and the republican sell-outs. The infiltration is deep and overwhelming.
So why is the Tea Party now blasting one globalist (Romney) and supporting another (Perry)? Or Cain? Or Gingrich? In my view because the Tea Party was taken over by the rinos –e.g., ‘Freedom Works’–they are now going to do the bidding of destroying whatever the republican field is ensuring a defeat in 2012.
Another round of Obama and America is completely dead.
Is it now time to let the ‘globalists’ have their republican president, but work to unite to ensure the defeat of Obama? Will this work? How about this? Given the globalists control, what is our best tactic for the next year?

Will Ron Paul be prevented from winning the republican nomination? He won’t even get there unless he clarifies the meaning of his stand on Israel, the border issues, and starts taking on Obama.

As sharp as Ron Paul is, I’m not so sure his running for the Republican nomination hasn’t been calculated to build a strong case for the Republican’s complicity with the power elite. This could be the very springboard he needs to make an unprecedented independent run against the two-sided coin we identify as the Democrat and Republican parties.
If he manages to turn the tables on them and have them split the vote of those who still believe the illusion, it could be brilliant.

I have heard Ron Paul in “one on one” interviews explain his stance on the Federal Reserve, border issues, war in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and bringing our troops home to protect our borders.
During the debates they never give him a chance to explain, even though he talks as fast as he can, they cut him off.
Then after they try and downplay the straw polls. Today after the Value Voter Summit, the straw pole put RP 14% above the next contender.
Would it help if he announced his running mate or can he not do that until after the primaries?

As far as the candidates are concerned, perhaps we can try this -
Herman Cain might be the potential nominee that is least offensive to us, so convince him that ‘respecting’ the people who question obama’s elig is not enough, that he should release his real bc and evidence that his parents were US citizens at time of his birth to really show his respect for the people, and, to challenge obama to do the same!

convince Michelle Bachmann to differentiate herself from all the others – that she is not afraid to stand up for article 2 to demand obama prove his nbcstatus. She is trailing badly now and she is already badly marginalized, so she has nothing to lose but everything to gain! Convince her she will be the ultimate ‘Palin’ candidate that so many are yearning for! She can ‘Palinize’ herself in the good way should she be brave enough to take our advice!

Palin isn’t perfect. She supported Cap and Trade in the last election. Either she was ignorant or she willfully supported something dreadful and later flip flopped. Either way it’s not an attractive feather in her cap. And Herman Cain is a Federal Reserve lap dog. Having served as chairman of the Federal Reserve in Kansas makes him an insider through and through. He’s no more tea party than Romney or Rick Perry. Why people support this guy I have know idea.
The reason the powers that be are so scared of Paul is that he is virtually untouchable on his record. And, they know if people start to really hear him that they will start to understand these foreign concepts of real personal liberties and freedom in America and non-interventionism foreign policy overseas. We are so used to big government meddling in our lives and war mongering on behalf of the war profiteers that we as a country can’t imagine any other way.
So Paul can’t be bought and he can’t be blackmailed. He can’t be threatened because …..what are they gonna do? Kill em? He’s 76. He is running this campaign with no fear. He doesn’t even fear losing. Why? Because He is promoting the ideas of liberty and getting back to a free America. And these ideas have caught fire and are growing bigger day by day. Even if he loses, he wins because more people are waking up.
Ron Paul can actually win. He is in a unique situation. We saw this type of situation in 1980 when Regan was elected but also in 1992 when Ross Perot gained a lot of traction. People in each of these times shared a sentiment of taking the country in a different direction and getting away from the status quo of either party. Big Government and waste was huge issues just as it is now.
Ron Paul’s support has grown exponentially since 4 years ago. I confess I didn’t know anything about him then. If ever there were a year for an upset this is the year. Tea Party itself would not be ignored and eventually had to be taken seriously by the media and the democrats at large and even the establishment Repubs couldn’t sweep them away so easily. They have been able to co-opt the more organized parts of the tea party. But because the tea party was more an expression of like ideas across a wide spectrum of people who remained largely unorganized they couldn’t be completely taken over. If they, along with those disgruntled anti war Obots, join togehter in supporting Ron Paul then we could have a real chance at having Ron Paul as our president.
If not, then I don’t see how having Romney, Cain, Perry, or any of the other NWO stooges will really be any different to having unconstitutional Obama disgrace the white house. Obama has no more credibility. How much leeway would we grant the shinny new Neocon plant before decrying his unconstitutional behaviors?

Well, I do agree. I do think this whole election is uncharted and precarious. I do agree that the media will NEVER get behind Paul.
However, Obama is such a boogieman to the republican base and among many of the independents now that there is no way that I can see Obama being reelected even if he was running against a llama with matted hair. The mysterious mojo Obama appeared to posses last election as disintegrated. The democratic base is completely un-enchanted but will on the whole hold their nose and vote for their false idol.
One thing that Paul has that no other repub has is there actually are large sections of dems who will vote for him. The anti-war dems would gladly vote for Paul if it means ending these wars. And the “legalize marijuana” crowd would also gladly vote for Paul. Paul actually would have a great chance of winning California especially with the feds cracking down on the medical marijuana shops there lately. Also there’s those who are protesting down on wall street. Now there are many of these who are simply die hard socialist and would never cross over. But, these people are also spending many hours down there at these sites side by side with libertarians. It’s possible that many dems can be swayed in a new direction. Of course, i say this having been a die hard Hillary supporter a few years ago who has completely come to a new understanding and now would never vote for her. So, with Paul, there is potential for a lot of cross over. In fact, many dems may just cross over in the primaries just to vote for Paul. I have been seeing rumblings around the net about it.
Paul’s base is more enthusiastic than any other of the candidates. Libertarians will all vote for him without fail. In fact, they are so loyal at this point that even if he loses the nom and doesn’t even run third party, the libertarians will still write him in. They don’t care if Obama gets reelected because they see virtually no difference in the loss of freedom they experience from a Neocon vs Obama. Considering that I think Obama is a third Bush term on crack, I get their point. So NOT nominating Paul will be a mistake of the Repubs because of all the libertarian votes they will lose.
I agree they may not “LET” Paul win. They didn’t want Regan to win either at the time. They made fun of him, called him too old and an just an “actor”. They also said Regan was too conservative to win. But the time was right for Regan and I think the time is right for Paul to win.
I had brought up the Tea Party mostly because of how the media tried to squash it, ignore it, and marginalize it before they finally had to accept it as a political force. If the Tea Party could by pure will of the people overcome the powers behind Washington and the media, it can happen again. Not only that but people now have a recent experience with making their voice heard. Those town halls accomplished a great deal in shaking up the government steamroller as well as making the American public remember their potential power in a group. The population of America is percolating under the surface and a fairly rapid rate. It won’t take much injustice to push them to stand up at this point.
I think the people can have Ron Paul if they choose to stand up for him. But, here lies the rub. What we don’t know is how wide the support for Ron Paul has grown. If we believe the media (LOL oxymoronic I know!) then we would believe that Paul has a few thousand college age supporters who follow him around to every straw poll and every speaking engagement to give the illusion of a large following. But, I don’t buy that. Everyone I meet says good things about him and the internet is swarming with supporters. It all just depends on how big his numbers really are. If they are big enough, there is a chance.

I can’t say. I do think there is a phenomena that occurs concerning elected office or positions of power. I think the people who crave power are not only the ones most likely to run for office, but also the least likely to turn out to be good. The reluctant leader is one that seems to not need all the accolades and perks but will serve if there is no other to do what needs to be done. When ever I think of this phenomena I think of George Washington. He could have been King George if he had wanted it. As it was, he served two terms and then bowed out. Thank goodness he set that example or we might have developed 20 year presidents.
I don’t know whether or not Ron Paul is reluctant. I do think he is steadfast in defending the constitution even when it isn’t popular. I can’t say that it’s politically smart, but I can say that I prefer a constitutional oak rather than politically bending grass in the wind.

I don’t see any other candidate coming forward that has the constitution front and center. I wonder if Paul would choose Bachmann as VP?
I would support Bachmann as VP. She’s not perfect either but she is pretty good I think. I’ve liked her for a long time. She was defending the constitution before the tea party came along. I know Paul and her have a friendly relationship so she is a possibility!
It is possible that he has someone other that is ideologically similar in mind. But I don’t know who.

Dr. Kate, I have a real problem with Alan Keyes dismissal of Ron Paul by saying
“Ron Paul’s foreign policy stance is indistinguishable from Obama’s”
This is a complete misrepresentation if not simply a lie. Obama’s foreign policy is in lock step with Bush/Cheney. Obama has not only continued these wars but increased them. Ron Paul is complete opposite of that.
Second, I don’t think the border issue is a problem. Paul talks of bringing our troops home to secure America rather than policing the world. He says’ fences are a bad idea but if we eliminate welfare for illegals then they will have less motivation to come here. I don’t think many people would argue with that.
It’s possible that his stance on Israel is a problem for a certain demographic because he says we should keep our big fat noses out of Israels business. He says they should be able to defend themselves how they see fit without America strong arming them. But oppose that to Obama’s pushing for Palestinian Statehood. I don’t see Obama better off than Paul on this issue.

The Israel problem for Paul–he needs to explain this better and make it clearly a part of American not doing the bidding of everyone else or the worlds policeman. He needs to clarify that he is not Jew-hater. That is the way it is going to be played.

I know 4 years ago I stupidly fell prey to the “Ron Paul is a racist” claims. After seeing a few news stories on the subject, I remember thinking, “Oh well if that guy has flaming racists writing articles on his web site then he’s not really worth my time” Of course that was before they rabidly started using the racist card on everyone and his brother. I was listening to the Terry Lakin Action Fund radio show today. Dean Haskins was talking about a Voters Summit in Washington this past weekend. Terry was there, as well as Cmdr. Kershner, Pammela Barnett and Theresa Coa. It is very interesting. You can listen to it in the archives. They were handing out literature about the Birther Summit and about Terry to a lot of people who said they would read it, including some of the republican candidates who were there. Bachmann Cain,Paul and maybe others. Dean said he saw Mark Levin and he took it. We’ll see if he reads it and talks about it.

Just received an email from someone who was out driving in a light drizzle of rain, no cars in front to splash on windshield. Whatever happened to the original concept of plain citizens being elected to office. Now, it seems that you have to be connected to a party or have lots and lots of money. Only the rich are smart enough to be elected to office???

Because of the “weakness” of the neo-con corporatist national-socialist globalist Republicans (am I being too obvious what I think of them?), Obama could win with a measly 38 percent of the vote since more independents than ever are determined not to cave to the proven deceivers this time.
Personally, I think social media and networking is going to be a game-changer this time, finally able to rival the propaganda of corporate media. More people than ever are recognizing that as contentious as the Right-Left rhetoric is, both sides are chipping away at the Constitution and our liberty.
I don’t know if it’s not already too late for RP to do much as President, but he would get to select a cabinet and appoint chairmen of agencies that will continue regulating us into oblivion under Demican-Republocrat rule.
RP will not get the nomination controlled by the Establishment GOP. His best bet is a third party and eligibility issue. Otherwise he will go into obscurity.

My daughter is being home-schooled by Abeka Academy and every day in 5th grade History class (for 6 weeks) we, those in class, who include myself, read part of the Declaration of Independence. I’ve come to believe that we have progressed all the way back to July 4, 1776. I am happy to know that some schools are teaching this!!!
