….when the AZ Legislature was working on their ‘eligibility Bill’ I had a number of communications with one of the whips and tried to impress upon them the importance of including a State Definition of natural born Citizen showing the legal premis of a States OBLIGATION to do so…..in the end they left it out, after putting it in……and the Bill was Vetoed. Then the AZ immigration Bill was passed and signed…..I was told that they were forced to choose their battle and immigration reform had more support……….
….but my point is that my enthusiasm for what will come out of the “investigation” is tempered by the high profile “ignorance” handed out of the Justice System, Federal and State Departments and the MSM in general and how they have twisted and distorted the facts at every turn without shame…..
…..in order to be a “seminal event” in the eligibility sage any conclusive and actionable “investigation” would need to ‘declare’ that; “… currently there is NO acknowledged :legal” definition of the Constitutional idiom of natural born Citizen insofar as Citizenship is concerned and due to that FACT there can be NO “LEGAL” POTUS and any occupant must be considered a De FACTO Officer at best and a Usurper at worst, perhaps by no ill intent of any given person the lack of a declared National “legal definition” produces profound consequences to the creditability of the Office of POTUS, every Act emanating from the Office, every Act delivered to it by the Congress, every Treaty, agreement and negotiations with International bodies.
Upon investigation it has been determined that the Constitutional definition, meaning and intent of the term of words, natural born Citizen, made idiom by its usage in the Constitution, is deducible from the body of U.S. Law independent from any interpretations of other historical sources and a Brief in the form of a Petition of Certification of a Constitutional Question has been prepared with the intent of soliciting the Governor, State Atty General and State Supreme Court to Certify the Question to the SCOTUS with application for expedited action.

Not sure I buy the idea that the Natural Born Citizen definition is a moving target or undefined. The news media is trying to create that illusion though.
There are (at least) three recent examples of acknowledgement by the Congress that they in fact do understand what it means :
1) There was an operating definition used during the hearings on McCain’s eligibility (which Obama participated in).
2) There have been numerous attempts by the Congress over the last decade via legislative proposals to redefine Natural Born status. If they felt comfortable with “ambiguity”, then they wouldn’t have tried to change it.
3) Nancy Pelosi manipulated the language of certain eligibility certification documents in the 2008 election timeframe thereby admitting that she did not wish to make that attestation in certain jurisdictions. She must have sensed a significant risk because she knew he didn’t meet the definition. If the definition was unclear or arguable, then she would not have felt vulnerable.
In addition, Obama has spent a considerable sum to keep the issue out of the courts so I suspect that he too, is not confident of a positive outcome.
Words mean something. This was especially true to the Founders who did not willy-nilly place superfluous words into our founding document over which they carefully deliberated for many months. If our Constitution states that our President must be a “natural born Citizen,” it is clear that the Founders meant the requirement to be more restrictive than just simply being born a citizen. Obviously the qualifier “natural” adds a further important something or the Founders would have simply written “born Citizen.”
If you cross a donkey with a horse, a jackass results. The result is neither a natural born donkey nor a natural born horse. What ensues is an unnatural hybrid, a half-breed mix that is neither truly donkey nor horse and is, in fact, sterile and unable to reproduce its own kind (let alone a donkey or a horse). I submit to the reader that, politically, our Founders would have considered Obama to be just such a jackass (not a natural born Citizen of any country).
By examining the writings of the Founders, one can clearly see that the intent of the natural born Citizen requirement was to ensure that our Commander-in-Chief be born with sole, exclusive allegiance to the country that was to entrust him with its command. Obama, by his own admission, was born equally a citizen of Great Britain as recognized by US treaty and law. It is insanity to suggest that the Founders would have ever intended that such a person, born with equal allegiance to their former bloody enemy, be given command of their own military forces.
When two horses mate it takes no law to ensure that they do not produce a dog or a donkey. It is by nature that only a horse ensues. That is the clear and obvious meaning of the constitutional phrase “natural born.” To produce a Citizen by nature and nature alone (no law required) requires two parents who themselves are resident Citizens. This was the Founders’ understanding in their use and inclusion of the phrase, natural born Citizen.
Yes, words truly do mean something.
Not meaning to be argumentative, but to argue that ‘natural born Citizen’ as used in the Constitution is not Statutory is to argue against the Statutory Construction of the Constitution its-self.
If you look at the 1790 “an Act to make an uniform Rule of naturalization” it would appear that the Congress assumed the Statutory nature of the term with its ‘enlargement’ of its application within the Act reciting the Jus sanguinis aspects and then applying the Jus Soli aspect to include the whole world.
Marbury v Madison also confirmed the Statutory nature of the Constitution, as if the words of Article VI were not enough to persuade the correctness of the proposition;
“This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding”
But even Justice Waite got it wrong when he opined; “…The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that….” But then, instead of following what the 1st lines of the next sentence would suggest he looked beyond the Constitution and the subsequent Acts emanating from its jurisdiction which those 1st words of the next sentence would DEMAND; “….At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. ”
Anyway, the definition, meaning and intent of the Constitutional idiom of natural born Citizen IS deducible from the Body of Documents and Law of solely American origin, notwithstanding the fact that the natural law concept of same pre-dated any such documents and Laws

slcraignbc, I sincerely respect your legal prowess. On the other hand, I have come to have a healthy disrespect for the general legal community and particularly the judiciary. We have been ‘conditioned’ by the government schools and the chronically constitutionally sick series of legal decisions that have not only failed the test of law for the public good, but have served to usurp and diminish the supreme law of the constitution. Any decision by any branch of government, particularly the judiciary, that violates the constitution is NOT LAW. Lawyers and judges can write up their own rules of procedure and enter their opinions into the court records till a jackass is said to be a thoroughbred, but it does not make it de jure. This is precisely a big portion of what We the People must throw off.

We are in agreement on all of that.
Just a thought-but I dont think the Sheriff is going to go into a “legal definition”. I believe that if anything he will investigate the facts in the multiple crimes as he would any criminal act and make those kinds of determinations. Or he could have sold out totally. We will soon find out.
Because Obama and his enablers have blocked access to most of his records I don’t expect Sheriff Arpaio’s report to be fully conclusive with regard to all the crimes Obama has most likely committed. However, I do expect his report to lay out multiple avenues of probably cause for proceeding with a full blown criminal investigation leading to a variety of very serious charges.
Some of the obvious probable crimes are identity theft (aka Obama fails E-verify), election fraud, real estate fraud, tax fraud, etc.
If Sheriff Arpaio can pry open the records in the Hawaii Department of Health, he may be able to show that aka Obama’s BC number was originally issued to and stolen from Virginia Sunahara (the baby who lived only one day and was born at the same time and place aka Obama claims to have been born).
It is my hope that in the end justice is fully served and aka Obama is convicted of high treason and put to death per the rule of law. This is not something to wish for lightly and is not because I have a personal hatred for aka Obama, but is because I believe that serving him with anything less would be a crime against our Constitution and would send the wrong message to rest of the elitist R&D scum (with some exceptions) that currently infest the federal government.

Devastated about the death of Andrew Breitbart, may he rest in peace. Will someone champion his cause and pick up his dropped gauntlet to show the video of Obummer’s supposed college years, and continue his fight? My first thought when I heard of the loss of such an outspoken true American as Andrew Breitbart was this is not a “natural cause” event. However, he apparently had a history of heart trouble–maybe yes, maybe no. But isn’t it a sad comentary on the state of our country when the first thing we think of in a situation like this is treachery. Unfortunately, there is sufficient historical evidence to justify our concerns.

Sheriff Joe is tired. He has been put through the mill. He stood tall and seemed even fueled by today’s press conference. Now that its out of the bag, he may get some temporary relief. I like the fact that it is in the hands of a team, not just one lone judge that can be easily intimidated. Most of that team are volunteers and not subject to being fired.

A Pennsylvania man has just come forward revealing that he has had a decade-long romantic relationship with former Senator and presidential candidate, Rick Santorum.
Santorum has been very vocal in his viewpoints on homosexuality and how it is hindering our society from moving forward in a moral manner. However, Hugh Johnson knows a completely different side of the former Senator that he wants the American public to know about.
Johnson told FWP:
I think Ricky is overcompensating his true feelings towards homosexuals. If people really knew the Ricky that I know, they would know that he is a kind and gentle soul that wants everyone to have the ability to love whoever they so choose. I’m finally coming forward because I can’t stand do see the pain in his face any longer. He obviously wants to come out with it, and maybe this will be the nudge that he needs. However, if he denies being my lover, I can only assume that he is doing so because he knows most other Republicans want him to hate homosexuals… but I can’t imagine Ricky hating anyone, he is a magnificent human-being.
Johnson said that he met Santorum at the “Bear of the Ball” wine mixer in the spring of 2000 in Philadelphia. It wasn’t until Santorum decided he wanted to try a bid at the White House that he finally broke off all ties from Johnson.
Now, with Johnson breaking his silence, will there be enough time for Rick Santorum to change his stance on homosexuality after all? Only time will tell.

Appears to be a misguided form of “cold war” etiquette, like mixing with the enemy at Embassy party’s. I think he went as Johnathan Turley’s guest and probably with the thought of arranging an interview will Ayers, Dorhn or whoever else was there.
Got to remember that Andrew was just an average guy for the most part, but grew up in West LA, which is a lot like a big DisneyLand where everything is possible. This point has puzzled many who are following these events. In this age of technology, to make such obvious mistake, by powerful educated people who could hire the best experts to do almost anything to 99.99% perfection, makes your point important.
What speaks against the Red Herring theory is that it was released by the WH directly (if memory serves). So the chief would have difficulty denying knowledge. How would he explain it if it came to light? He could have used a proxy organization to release it, like the first one.
Well, again, the ‘conspiracy’ to hold on as long as possible is the goal, and just looking stupid is no problem for them if they get more time off it…….so all he has to say is,
