I am so glad Texasdarlin reposted this blog’s conclusion regarding Obama’s birth certificate, because it IS a warning not to get distracted by this part of the ‘blood and dirt’ debate. Obama is ineligible for POTUS because of the ‘blood’ part–admittedly his father was never an American citizen, and regardless of where he was born, his dual foreign citizenship at birth disqualifies him instantly. This should have been the end of his candidacy.
But this endless disruption and rapid change initiated by Obama is really about the Constitution–his antics and pronouncements thinly disguise his contempt for our founding documents and its principles. After three “America Sucks” tours, where it is obvious to the world he disdains America, it is part of Obama’s mission to once and for all defeat those documents and change forever the relationship between the people and government in the United States.
In 1992, Candidate Bill Clinton’s ‘war room’ had a sign up that said, “It’s the economy, stupid!” Our war room right now must carry the banner, “Its the Constitution, stupid!”, because as we wade through this economic disaster for our lives and our children’s lives, we are distracted from the assault on the Constitution of the United States of America.
Legalize the Constitution!
The blog talk radio show, “Constitutional Radio”, came to this conclusion in a program lasting sixteen (16) weeks. After reviewing and discussing every Article of and Amendment to the Constitution, we became aware of the deep and wide assault on the Constitution.
Not that this erosion of the Constitution is new–it began almost a century ago. From the passage of the Federal Reserve Act in 1913, to the questionable ratification of the 16th Amendment by the states, to the arrangements made in the “New Deal”, to the financing and repayment of debt for wars, to the endless parade of manufactured economic crises, our country has been on a slippery slope away from Constitutional principles for quite a while.
The communist revolution of the 30-’s 60’s went ‘underground and mainstream’, working in ‘normal’ areas such as education, business, ‘community organizing‘, the media, and Hollywood. Thirty years later, we find ourselves on the precipice of socialism, something our forefathers told us would happen one day without us even knowing.
The grabbing of executive power by Bush/Cheney, a compliant republican congress, toothless democratic politicos, and a non-thinking public, laid the basis for Obama’s further usurpation of powers, with a compliant democratic congress, and now spineless republican politicos. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
Remember that ‘our constitution was an agreement between the people, to create a government with enumerated, limited powers’. It was a grant of certain rights to the government by the people, not to the people by the government. The Constitution was written as a limit on federal power.
In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself (James Madison, Federalist 51)
Now, those of us who believe in America, the Constitution, the balance of power, limited taxation, actual representation, and states and individual rights are labeled as “domestic terrorists”.
rEvolution of Constitutional Radio
The Dame Truth, (aka ‘Central Park 7) and I have moved Constitutional Radio to its own forum on Tuesday evenings at 9 pm est after being graciously hosted by My Two Cents blog talk radio show. Having documented the volume and depth of Constitutional violations through guest speakers, our own analyses, and events of the day, we don’t have any question that this is totally about our Constitution. There is a war on our Constitution and it is at a critical juncture right now. Make no mistake: the system which protects our inalienable rights is the target. That means we, the people are the target. Our Declaration of Independence is very clear:
….that whenever any Form of Government becomes destruction of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness…..
Constitutional Radio has evolved to meet these challenges:
- Now in its own venue, the show provides an opportunity to network with others who are working to bring about the people’s expression of our dissatisfaction with and intent to take this government back, including, The National Tea Party organizations, Glenn Beck’s 912 Project, the American Constitution and Capitalism Defense Front, and the Committees of Safety.
- We continue to keep track of the cases challenging Obama’s eligibility, but remain unaffected and undeterred by any sabotage, self-inflicted or otherwise. One case in particular we think has all the elements is the Kerchner case, whose attorney is Mario Apuzzo. Numerous blog talk radio hosts, including Constitutional Radio, continue to keep a watchful eye on this case.
- The first Constitutional Radio Rally for the Republic event will be held on July 4, 2009, in Philadelphia, PA, at the Constitution Center. Surrounded by our founding documents, we will both rally and plan for the Million Patriot March on D.C. planned for September 12th. Constitutional Radio’s intent has always been to foster an intelligent, conversant, educated public in the principles of our Republic. It is also time to act. Or as Morgan Freeman said in The Shawshank Redemption, “time to get busy living, or get busy dying.”
