The “Charming Liar”

“….I can’t believe we were “cheneyed” by a guy named Barack Obama”

Well, well, well.  Progressives are turning on Obama.  It is, in my view, about time.  But pardon my incredulity as the koolaid drinking, rose colored glasses-wearing, cotton in your ears type people finally begin to wake up.

When will they realize the damage they’ve done, brought on by their refusal to listen and see?  I am one person whose life has been changed forever with this damage…..I see the struggle for our Country’s survival as the biggest challenge many of us will ever  face.

According to Chris Stirewalt, Political Editor, for the Washington Examiner “The Thrill is Over for Obama and the Media”. Chris is treating his readers to a scathing indictment on 0 and his media crony’s today. It’s a great read.

“Gibbs has grown more sardonic and patronizing as the summer wears on and Obama’s poll numbers wilt.

The press secretary has lectured reporters on the nature of their jobs — apparently to defend the administration against “misinformation” rather than asking impertinent questions like “How will you pay for it?”

When asked recently about the administration’s endless evasions on the public option, Gibbs instead opted to define a monopoly.
“If you had one place to eat lunch before you came to the briefing, do you think it would be cheap?” Gibbs demanded of CNN’s Ed Henry.

Henry should have asked Gibbs to define monopsony: a market in which one buyer is so large that it can control suppliers and ruin competitors. Henry could then explain he’d rather pay too much for the sandwich he wanted than have to eat at a government chow line opened across the street to encourage “competition.”

Gibbs is so crabby because, incredibly, the administration blames the media for the president’s problems.

I love the fact that Palast’s rose colored glasses have finally been broken and shattered. It’s about damned time!!!

Can you imagine if one of President Bush’s press secretaries had done the same thing? If they had lectured reporters that the nature of their jobs was to defend the administration against “misinformation” rather than asking impertinent questions?

It’s not acceptable for any administration to act this way. A free and independent press is vital to the health of our Republic.

    Dearest Kate,

We all are having our lives changed by this Usurper, but for me it has been for the better. I have grown stronger in my respect for the wisdom of our founding fathers and I have found new and wonderful friends like yourself.

He is going down, and fortunately or unfortunately he will take the democratic party with him. It is unfortunate in that simply the majority of people who associate themselves as democrats simply beleive that they are for the people having a voice, the fact is that they are not for National Socialism as the parties elites are.

This majority will be party-less in the near future, and it is my hope that former democrats like yourself and the PUMA’s arise to fill the vacuum. That you reach out to the Blue Dog democrats and form a new democratic party, closer to Jackson’s dream than Obama’s nightmare.

These people who are waking up after their kool-aide bing are not the people you want in a new party that represents the common man, they are only discovering that Obama is just like every other megalomaniac in power. Their core beliefs have not changed, only their perception of their “fearless leader,” changed.

I hope that those who read your column will prepare themselves not to run for public office, but instead run as committee people in their local democratic organizations and take back your party. In this position they can insure that candidates are ultimately for the people and not the powers behind the party.

Doing this will force them to protect their base of power which is the local committees that make up the county committees that make up the state committees and ultimately the national committee. If their foundation starts to crumble it will bring the whole house of cards down. Even cracks will take away precious resources they have on the national and state level, which will ultimately lead to their demise.

Teo dearest, your point about this abomination changing our lives for the better is quite sublime, and just goes to remind us that out of bad comes good, every time. Paradox and irony abound here, and it is true beyond words that, without this abomination and his craven owners, [yes, OWNERS, for this pathetic little man personifies the White Man’s slave like few others have–he is TOTALLY “Their Boy”] so many fine patriots would not have met, pooled resources, and grown stronger in wisdom every day.

Blessed be our Country, our Consitution and our compatriots!

And thank you Drkate for addressing this all too rarely reported issue on Resources!

      Best to all,

      Dame;)

Teo – you hit on something that is rarely talked about regarding us former D’s, that is, the national DNC has swung so far to the left that it has become unrecognizable to so many of us lifelong activists. The state party structure, at least in Virginia, remains centrist because of the R’s majority in the House. If it weren’t for the R’s frankly, policy being crafted in Virginia would be left of center but not way left of center.

Checks and balances are so necessary on all levels of government. Although it slows the policy-making process down, and not everyone gets what they want, the eventual legislation passed is based on compromise aka centrist.

What I saw happening during the primary was a bunch of d’s giddy about electing a D, any D, into the WH which trickled down to the down ticket candidates. Some good R’s were fired b/c 2008 was a backlash election to Dubya’s eight years. The d’s I knew could have cared less about experience, relationships built based on trust over many years, leadership qualities, real policy making experience, etc. They majority of d’s became blinded by their chance for victory while voting for the least qualified individual of all of the nine primary candidates. They couldn’t be bothered to make the effort to learn who he really is and what motivates him to get out of bed every morning. All they wanted was victory at all costs and, of course, we are paying the price for their folly.

I’ll make this last comment b/c I could go on and on but won’t, that is, after getting everything I could possibly get my hands on to read or watch, staying up to the wee hours of the morning, I came to believe that 0 and his gangsta’s were extremely dangerous to our domestic home front and foreign relations. I also became convinced that he was not eligible under any citizenship scenario, and I knew then, I could see then, that when the truth finally caught up to him and his cronies that the DNC was/is going to be destroyed. I wanted no part of it.

Ok, this is really it, but this last, last, last thought has always stuck in my crawl, so to speak. That is, people have surmised that when Cheney chose not to ask for a nay vote on 0 that he was failing in his role as VP. Well, I always saw it as an intentional and deliberate act, and not a helpful one either. Why? Because, honestly, who knows better than Cheney who 0 truly is, given the opposition research he had conducted on all of the D presidential candidates for years, he knows this man better than any of us. That said, what better way to destroy the DNC than to allow the farce of the 2008 election fraud to occur? Cheney is a master tactician. He knows how the game is played in DC. His eyes and ears are all over DC. This man has no intention to give the DNC leadership anymore power. He has and always has had the goods and he’s simply waiting the DNC elite out. When it’s time to drop the proverbial bomb we’ll all know it but his fingerprints won’t be on it nor will Rove’s. To much is at stake and if there is one thing I know about Cheney, the man plays to win, AND he always gets what he wants. That break in at State did not go unnoticed by his office and that you can take to the bank. The DNC elite are in for one helluva ride and the Party is going to suffer for many years to come.

I think people make too big a deal of their impression that DC prevented any Congresspeople from ‘objecting’ to ratifying the EC vote. Any one of those 500% Congresspeople could have entered a “Point of Order” on the spot, if voicing an objection to the ratification was her or his intention. But no one would have objected, anyway. Because the people who knew the system had been rigged did not want to advertise this fact; and the rest had no idea they had been duped. (d2i, could you please ask this question on my blog, http://jbjd.wordpress.com?)

Obama wants to change Sept. 11 into a national service day. IT is an abomination.

        RedPill, I agree with you.

There is a secret war behind the scenes for NWO …the new commie democrats are now in position to overthrow the old heads of yore. This current regime make the “secret societies” participants look like wannabes.

Omaniac and his comrades are vying for American Muslim supremacy. He’s making nice-nice with the peoples of Islam so he can ensnare and reign over all. Can’t have global authority without the Middle East complying. We must build a cohesive American faction with a multicultural face as the NOI appears to be inclusive and segregated in its present form.

Where there’s smoke there’s fire…I believe Ahmadinanut knew Bill Ayres and family prior to 11/4/79. My instincts tell me that he was the guy with the 2 Mary’s speaking for the student terrorists. I’d bet a paycheck that there is a connection. Those students didn’t wake up that morning and say let’s attack the American Embassy. We need to revisit the history of those days. November 4th 1979…

(btw, Did Terd Kennedy concede on the floor at the convention that summer)?

As convoluted as it all is, they made it “perfectly clear” there is a “struggle” for power on that May Day in Florida when the dNC stole HRC’s delegates and shoved this crap down our throats…a week later, the Bilderbergers met and the rest is history.

I think the Vatican is involved, as well.

Bernanke, again? hmmmm…they are dead serious.

Conspiracy Theorists, those whack jobs…glad I am.

I don’t know who he thinks he’s fooling. September 11th is Patriot’s Day, a national day of somber reflection. Its a Commemoration Day.

It’s one thing he just can’t change. He’s showing hisself (as LC would say)…he’s outragous.

Any way, we already have a Labor Day, ODUMBIE. He actually thinks he can hijack 9/11.

He’s nuts. Check out 9/24 in Hawaii this year. Huhn?

I hope September 12th will be a beautiful day in D.C.

I have a fiver that says when the rest of the obots wake up, they going to whine, “You’re supposed to be older and wiser than we are. It’s your fault for not warning us.”
