What a day! While ABC was reporting 60,000 attendees at the Washington, D.C. rally for our republic, this time lapse photography suggests that the number of people in Washington today was nearer to 2 million people.
At 10 a.m., D. C. police estimated the crowd at 1.5 million. By 4 pm, highways into the metro D.C. area were closed to one lane, with buses being turned back. And still there were lines of Patriots marching to the Capitol. The ROAR of the crowd was deafening; thrilling; and ‘across time’.

And that’s just the crowd that marched. When we arrived at the Capitol, there were tens of thousands of people already there. The aerial photography will show the Patriots occupied the Washington Mall from the Capitol to the Washington Monument, and quite possibly to the Lincoln Memorial.

Metro police, fire, and EMS services…who provided expert security, secured the Patriots’ route, and escorted the ONE obot who was carrying a sign “Public Option Now” as Patriots followed him with American flags, Gadsen flags, and shouting “how’s that ‘hopey-changey thing going for you?’ We in America protect the right to free speech; the D.C. police acted appropriately. He was escorted off the grounds of the Capitol…

starts about 11 am and finishes at about 12:30…then everyone goes on to the capitol grounds…
drkate – I heard the organizers had to start it at 9:30 b/c there were soooooo many people and my understanding is the march proceeded t/o the afternoon.
I just saw a picture over at The Right Side of Life convincing me there were at least 1.5 million attendees. It was a shot taken from the Capital looking down both Pennsylvania Avenue towards the White House (packed) and down the Mall towards the Washington Monument (packed again).
I lived in the DC Metro area for nearly 20 years and attended the Desert Storm event and Promise Keepers event and this crowd with the combination of Penn. Ave. and the Mall dwarfed both of them.
The telltale will be the aerial photos. The Park Police always estimate the crowd size with these photos. I wonder if aerial photos will ever be released…hmmm?!?!
There were at least as many people there on 9/12 as attended Obama’s inauguration. Look at the photos of that event. The 0MSM claimed that there were between 1 and 2 million on 1/20. Since this crowd is very comparable, they have to have the exact same estimate. Unless, of course, there’s some political reason that the 0MSM won’t report reality. But why in the world would they lie?
It is a mile b/w the Capitol Steps and the Washington Monument. The aerials will show the massive size of the crowd which went beyond the Monument.

How exciting. I listened to Kicking it with Central Park 7 blog talk radio last night and it was great to hear your experiences at the protest. I believe we are just getting warmed up. I don’t know what to say about that video. I’ve seen a lot of numbers tossed around, but I can say with almost complete assurance that the shot of the crowd on Pennsylvania Ave with the WH in the background is fake. There’s a museum missing. Look in the upper right hand corner of Obambi’s inauguration. The museum to Native Americans is clearly visible, and in the picture proving crowd sizes, it’s missing.
As for the youtube, that looks pretty legit, but I’ve seen some attacks on other sites that show a screengrab at 3:30 where the flag is at full mast. Either someone forgot to raise the flag, or the time elapse isn’t 9/12.
We should fight the left with facts, and even though we had a lot of patriots there, if we are using fake images, it tarnishes what they were all there for.
There’s a photo on The Right Side of Life blog that was taken from nearly the same position of photos of Obama’s inauguration, looking towards the Washington Monument. The crowds are quite similar. drkate’s video shows the size of the crowd. The video’s not lying. There were hundreds of thousands there, not merely “tens of thousands,” as the MSM reported. When even NBC calls the crowd “massive”, you can imagine how truly humongous it must have been.
You’re missing the point. The video shows the flag at half mast, which it was on 9/11. Either the flag wasn’t raised at sundown, or the video was taken on a different day. At 3:30, it is clearly at full mast.
Granted, there are a couple hours between when that video ends and the flag is at full mast, but it puts things into question, which isn’t good.
One photo has already been ruled fake. It is apparently from a 1997 Promise Keepers event based on the location of cranes and a missing museum.
We can’t let things get passed over by distractions like these.

Just an obervation, I don’t know why. I was there on 9/12 and noticed that some flags were at half-mast and some weren’t. I commented on it to friends at the time.

By stealing my work, CFP and WND have jeopardized the success of the project involving filing complaints of election fraud with state A’sG.
A state Rep. in NH saw their counterfeit ‘work’ and contacted the SoS in NH to look into fraud. (CFP focuses the ‘fraud’ on the differences in Certifications, leaving out that part of my work that points out, the Certifications varied according to state law.) Now, as I have been saying since last summer, no provision of any law, federal or state, requires any state official to check whether the nominee for POTUS from the major political party is Constitutionally eligible for the job. This is the reason that any lawsuit predicated on Mandamus was doomed to fail. That is, the court – judicial branch – will not order the SoS – executive branch – to perform a specific job function unless such function is spelled out in the law – legislative branch. Most state laws also fail to require the nominee to be Constitutionally eligible for the job. In fact, most laws entitle the name of the nominee to appear on the ballot. All the party is required to do is to Certify the name of its nominee, to appropriate state officials. So, as long as the party Certified BO was the D nominee, no fraud occurred with the SoS. Let’s say, the SoS of NH reports, no fraud occurred. A’sG in other states will hear this and figure, no fraud occurred. So, what are these people filing these 4-page complaints of election fraud talking about?
Does this mean, the D’s did not commit election fraud, by Certifying BO was a NBC without first ascertaining whether this is true, in those states that require the candidate to be eligible for the job to be printed on the state ballot? Absolutely not. But, tragically, because of the malfeasance of people associated with CFP and WND, only readers of my blog will ‘get’ that distinction.
Please bombard CFP and any other sites posting what you recognize is my work, with clarifications and links to my site.
And for those of you who admire Leo, I wrote to him, too, a couple of days ago, when posters on his blog began to mention the CFP article. I explained the theft; he even posted my comment. Well, guess what? Today, having been alerted to the fact, this material was stolen from me, minus the nuances and explanations; he re-printed the article about the NH Rep. taking the information provided by CFP, to the NH SoS, as the headline of his blog!
I know many of you post over there. Please, tell him to stop! Explain this could ruin the bona fide fraud complaints already in progress!

My husband and I attended this fantastic rally.
We spent five hours on the bus each way going to and coming home from DC.
It was a joy to be part of this historic event.
But I am furious at the way the media pretends that we weren’t even there! To be dismissed in such a fashion is insulting!

Reported by relatives of family members bussing into D.C. Up to 80 busses were turned away by D.C. police, (crowd to large weren’t prepared )
Also, ALL TRAINS were halted an hour and a half or so before march due to larger than expected crowd of people.

Trust me EVERY Senator, Every Congressperson KNOWS how large that crowd was, and Every Senator and Every Congressperson KNOWS how large the IN STATE RALLIES were. Won’t admit it but THEY KNOW…NO DOUBT IN MY MIND , THAT”S THERE BREAD AND BUTTER.
The people who needed to See “We The People” are many and many more who were unable to come are aware I can assure you.

To your point: As David (They’re all wrong) Axilgrease and Beltway Bob Gibbs try to marginalize the DC Tea Party along with the townhalls during August, it will just tick off more and more of We the People and the next time a National Tea Party convenes there will be 3-4 million people flooding the National Mall and the streets of DC. (With everyone turned away, maybe there were 3 million this time)
I would say 2 million plus people is critical mass enough to wake up the Representatives and Senators vulnerable in the next few elections. Go ahead…keep pissing off the people and see how far you get in the next election!!!

Also 2 differant tweeters at different times said that Park police told them estimate was over 4 million.
Read the official report was that this was the largest rally EVER even going back to Civil Rights era for D.C. per Park/Capital police records.

Start with VALERIE JARRET. The obama’s do not make a move until they consult her Leninism policies. She’s got to go. Next in line is Susan Rice. Her and Valerie are the ‘go to’ girls for the obama’s and they write policy. Seriously. This is who to get rid of next and a complete investigation will reveal some horror. Valerie is the one picking all the Czars.
I watched most of the speakers and saw incredible views of the crowd in DC on C-Span. It lasted about three hours. I got chills all over from some of the thoughts expressed. I wish I could have been there, but at least cspan did show it. There were at least a million, maybe more. With the ones turned away, there’s no telling how many patriots tried to get there. Griff Jenkins interviewed one patriot that said he rode a bus from Washington State for three days to protest. It’s that kind of determination that will, hopefully, turn this around and save our great nation from destruction.

Their top story “How many came to DC…” they say ‘…15,000 went to hear O’s pitch on healthcare, we had that many in line at the port-a-potties…’ LOL. There are some commenters over there saying the pics of DC march are fakes. Party poopers. I think DC got the message!!! But they will continue on with their mission; and we must continue on with ours!!!

I remembered that while watching the march Saturday two or three speakers were asking the people attending to send a text message to certain places so that they could get some idea of how many were there, that way they wouldn’t have to depend on someone else’s count on attendance. Maybe they will release those numbers soon, but those figures will not be precise either since some do not have phones and some could not even hear the speakers. It’s an Alinsky tactic of distraction..They saw and heard the crowd loud and clear. It’s the BIGGEST crowd ever! And Tea Parties with passion were going on around the nation! Awesome speakers were speaking and some for the first time in their lives. These crowds were 4500-10,000 or more per venue.
They have run out of news and distractions. It’s still all about Wilson. Marxist/Leninists only know about power…barky said on a 60 minute sound bite that the people who speak the loudest get the attention. Oh really? How much media attention did the Tea Parties get? NONE in my area.
He always attacks the people of this great nation. He never addresses issues like the jobs he promised that don’t exist.
He’s all about bowing to our enemies and verbally attacking citizens. I wish he’d do his damend job instead of blaming, criticizing citizens, and trapesing around the country to get his tiny audience fix. He thinks he’s still campaigning. I thought he ‘won’.
