Amen to the thread. And let the military families know that they can get personal VA loans now at http://www.valoans.com for any living needs that they have. There are appliance shopping, hotel, and rental car discounts on the site too, that they may be able to use.

But let me tell you the latest. obama’s lack of leadership is not only being noticed nationwide, but the not so nice stories are now being printed about him in the editorial sections of nationwide newspapers. Even in obotland where I am. (every 10th car has a obot sticker)
About the release of the Guantanamo detainees:

THE LAW OF COUNTERTERRORISM-By choosing status quo, obama fails the leadership test-by Benajamin Wittes-Washington

excerpt: Democrats, always afraid of their own shadow on national security issues, have hidden behind civil liberties platitudes that most do not really believe. ~snip~Members of congress across the spectrum have acted bodly only when it comes to making sure that no Guantanimo detainees end up in their districts.
But it is obama who is president (sic) and obama’s decision to release them will have major consequences, all of them bad.”

    Zieghiel obama carter…Welcome back Carter.
He only SEEMED to be worthy of the nobel peace prize. He should have had to stand in the street and have Americans pummel tomatoes at him.
(disclaimer) I do not use the capital letter o for him. It’s beyond me to give respect to the deceitful.

Oh and while I’m at it…check out what Larouche (like him or not) says about the conflict of interest in going to petition for the Olympics to come to Chicago This is a revealing NEW ‘connect the dots’ WOW!

QL, again a terrific link which has now gone viral…

here is a particularly troubling excerpt:

The top players in Chicago 2016 were also top campaign backers of the Obama Presidential bid, and were also among the people who would stand to reap the biggest financial rewards if Chicago won the Olympic bid. Top among the Olympic profiteers, and the person with the biggest conflict of interest, is White House advisor Valerie Jarrett. An intimate personal friend and mentor of both Barack and Michelle Obama, Jarrett was the Vice Chair of Chicago 2016. She was also, until coming to the White House, the CEO of a Chicago construction company, The Habitat Company, which was bidding on the contract to build the 3,500 unit Olympic Village. Chicago 2016 President, Lori Healey, until recently the chief of staff to Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, had met with top officials of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), pressing for low-income housing grants, to build the Olympic Village, on the dubious claim that, after the Olympics, some of the units would go to low-income tenants. Jarrett is also an owner of Grove Parc Plaza Apartments, a run-down complex, with a 90 percent vacancy rate, that would have been torn down, to make way for part of the Olympic infrastructure.

With all the articles I have read, newsmax, news from FOX and hot air, I am wondering if he (BO) needing an outlet to get out of the presidency since everyone knows he is in way over his stupid head, the little scuffle with McCrystal is meant to get him out of the way. Would be awfully nice. Save a lot of people money in lawsuits, but will be too late to save our country if he is successful in pushing through healthcare that he wants. Over half of his socialist agenda has already been pushed through thinks to big nose mama from CA Pelosi and Reid. For some reason Reid reminds me of a cornered Opposum everytime he speaks. I have been reading comments left at Hot Air about this subject of McCrystal and Obama. Most of them are thinking a long the lines of the article at newsmax.

Also dk, I worked with military for 16 years and I know that you had to go through proper chains of command with any type of complaint. In my opinion which is not worth a whole lot, but why is McCrystal speaking out since Obama hand-picked him. It would almost seem like some sort of coup-de-etat being set up or this is being made to seem as though they are at odds especially since if everyone remembers BFAC had stated some time ago that the military knew the situation and it wasn’t setting well with them. Being as he has also had run-ins with the CIA, I would think it is getting a little difficult to keep covering his a– in light of his inexperience and the problems that he is creating for America around the world.
