Psst…we know its a diversion…

©2009 drkate

distraction_aug_05I agree with the Monster: there are several simmering and deliberate distractions going on  intended to focus our attention away from:

  • *Health insurance reform (cough, gag…making me sick already…)
  • *The Global Climate Change Treaty (aka,  RUST, the ‘remove US sovereignty treaty’), which will effect the sovereignty of the United States in many ways,
  • Obama’s sinking poll numbers
  • Obama and Congress’ anti-American agenda and efforts to undermine the Constitution,
  • *The American people’s growing awareness of and concern about the  Congress, the Executive and all of the above
  • *Internal chaos within the White House regarding Afghanistan.

In my view, the real issue is the Global Climate Change Treaty, health insurance, and the last item, our awareness of the whole scam of Congress and Obama.  The internal chaos within the White House, and between the White House and the military deserves its own post as it signals something but I’m not quite sure what yet.

Right now there are a couple of diversions I’d like to mention because they smell like fear…they are on a grand scale and oh-so scary.  They look backwards in time.

  • The False Debate between Obama and Cheney on Afghanistan

Obama and Cheney are cut from the same cloth as Brzezinski, having the same objectives: destabilization. It is designed to be confusing because of Obama’s Muslim orientation and his natural inability to make a decision, and it provides Obama an opportunity to once again blame Bush.  Biden is  now involved until he spills the beans on the whole thing.  Cheney himself is igniting the issue:

Convenient, yes?  Don’t buy into looking backwards with them, this is pure diversion with the ‘appearance’ of republicans versus democrats, or Bush (McCain) v.  Obama.  Everyone is playing along with it.

  • The Attack on Fox News

Hey, did anyone clue in those bozos in the White House that attacking FOX news for its independence is like attacking the people, the First Amendment, and exceeds the authorized powers of the President?  Oh, I forgot, they don’t care, and think we are stupid.

Don’t buy into this one either, don’t feed the fever they are trying to generate.

Now, the REAL Issues

  • No Constitutional Authority for Health Care Mandate

This blog has reported its understanding that there is no constitutional authority for Congress to mandate health care insurance.  No enumerated power under Article I, including the Commerce Clause or taxing authority, allow this kind of action by Congress or the Executive.

Both Patrick Leahy and Nancy Pelosi think we’re not watching.  In an unbelievable demonstration of ignorance and arrogance, they both dismissed any question of their authority to undertake this task, disguising their efforts as ‘increasing competition’ and ‘lowering costs’.  Baloney.

The ‘public option’ will likely still be included in the final bill, which increases the likelihood of difficulty in passage.  Obama will have to spend more money bribing Congressmen or bring in more thugs, I guess. *sigh*

The American Spectator agrees (h/t Bud White):

The ball right now is the unprecedented power grab in the name of health care. That is Obama’s whole immediate domestic ball of wax. Because Obama is losing on the issue, losing quite badly, in the court of public opinion, he is trying to change the subject and distract our attention so we, the broad American public, will ease our pressure against Democrats skittish of doing a lemming act on health care. If we ease our pressure on them on health care in order to fight Obama on other fronts, those skittish Democrats might succumb to the White House pressure instead and use parliamentary tricks to pass the legislative monstrosity Obama seeks.

“The basic tactic in warfare,” wrote Obama’s organizational idol, Saul Alinsky, “is a mass political jujitsu.” And “the real action is in the enemy’s reaction.” And “the major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition,” so “pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

  • Global Climate Change Treaty

There are many sites that have a cogent analysis of Obama’s potential signing of the Global Climate Change Treaty and what it would mean for the United States.  Here is Lord Christopher Monckton, former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, delivering remarks on this treaty:

This is a real goal of Marxist Obama: to dissolve the national boundaries of the United States and place America under a global economic/governance system, designed as good for the world ‘reparations for the environment’ from the United States.

While a real President can make a treaty, it still must be ratified by the Senate, and has to be consistent with the Constitution.  We can surely expect deference to a world-government by this Executive and Congress and a weak defense of the Constitution and national sovereignty  from the judiciary.

Of course, there are many more issues…and it is worthwhile to sift through the diversions versus the real stuff.  At least that is one benefit of our ‘experience’ with Obama–his increasing transparency the more we know.

  • Americans’ Growing Awareness of Usurpation

Its laughable that Congress and the President pretend they don’t know Americans are waking up.  How many pink slips went to Washington?  How many people marched on 912?  Alrighty then.

But of course they do know, and they respond by demeaning, ridiculing, stereotyping, and degrading personal comments, against the republicans the people.  Atlas Shrugs has a good video up of “President Contempt”.

We can see right through them, but their fighting us with this.  Their tactics will backfire, I predict.  In a recent poll it was found that 30% of Americans across all parties do not  believe that Obama was born in the USA.

Notice:  We get it. They all want to rule the world.

    dr kate,

Everything, including healthcare, is intended to a distract from the Global Climate Change Treaty. 0 the healthcare any time he wants via reconciliation. He’s just using it as a stall tactic. All about burying America as a sovereign nation. Remember when Ayers publishep that “end of EmPirr” poem? He and obama –as well as the Globalists, for whom obama is the bad man, intend the vote in Copenhagen this December–just weeks away–to accomplish their evil ends.

All deveopments surrOunding Obama tel me that the NWO/Globalists are behind Al Gore’s pseudoscientific nonsense. In fact, he was their Manchurian candidate of choice, but somethimg went wrong for them in 2000.

If the Senate caves on the Cimate Change Treaty….

The internal chaos within the White House, and between the White House and the military deserves its own post as it signals something but I’m not quite sure what yet…

What about the recent find on Pravda where there is someone, God knows who in the government, is demanding that Rahm Emanuel resign. We haven’t seen that on the news. Supposedly they got the canary singing and on tape. (Rod Blogjevich however you spell his jewish name)

if I didn’t know better, I’d swear you were making an anti-Semitic comment. Or maybe I don’t know better.

Afraid to know what is the devil in the details the fraud just signed last night declaring the H1N1 a State of Emergency. FOX news is trying to find out what it all means now.

Diversion and Disinformation tactics by Obama and his supporters.

Here is a good article which was in the Post n Email blog about KGB style tactics that Obama and his Maoist supporters use to keep our side off balance. That and the Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals tactics.

The White House lead “blog squad” is out in full force these days since we are gaining traction. The People are waking up and learning more and more that Obama is a Usurper and is not who he says he is.

3 in 10 Americans now believe Obama not born in the USA. That is hardly a fringe segment any longer:

The People are waking up to the fraud in the White House.

I think the debate over Afghanistan policy is a healthy one and neither the dems or the repubs can claim the moral high ground on this one- Bush neglected Afghanistan when he took America on a deadly wild goose chase in Iraq and while Obama certainly can’t continue to blame Bush (because pretty soon it’s going to be Obama’s War), its disingenuous for those who blindly supported Bush to only *now* speak out about Afghanistan. That’s not aimed at anyone here, I’m just sayin’. And where does this nation building stop? Certainly not at the Pakistan border. Some have prudently pointed out that whatever the US does in Afghanistan could very well be undermined by the fact that Pakistan is a banana republic with porous borders. Do we go into Pakistan next?

Lets say Obama commits 60,000 more troops (wherever the hell they are coming from) and a year down the road another 50,000 are needed. When is it time to use the “D” word (draft)? Or are we going to continue to rely on private mercenary armies, aka private contractors who bilk the US taxpayers for billions while a) not providing the services under the contract b) doing so in a criminally negligent way (think of all those soldiers who have been electrocuted) and/or c) helping to drum up more anti-American sentiment in the Middle East and Southeast Asia due to their trigger happy ways? I don’t like the idea of a draft anymore than the next person but I also know there won’t be a draft because it’s political suicide- all the armchair and keyboard generals would suddenly become awfully quiet if they knew that they or their kids had to pack up and go to Afghanistan or Iraq (or Iran down the road), assuming they couldn’t avail themselves of some cushy deferment.

I honestly don’t know what the answer for/to Afghanistan is but I find some of the criticism to be totally devoid of any acknowledgment of reality (let alone history). In a country that has managed to kick out (eventually) almost every invader in recent memory, it’s a bit silly to oversimplify and think that this issue is simply one of whether or not the POTUS is going to give his military commander what he wants. If NATO wants more troops there then let NATO send more troops.

I do know one thing, if the US is going to fight wars we better damn well be sure we have the resources available for our men and women and right now, we are stretched dangerously thin.

    Just my 3 cents.

I agree with what you are saying about afghanistan. What I meant in posting this is that cheney, bush and Obama are cut from the same cloth and have similar objectives. No one can say right now that Obama, who thought afghanistan was the ‘right’war, has done anything but make it worse through his indecision.

The debate that cheney is having with obama is not about what’s responsible in Afghanistan, some of which was raised in your comment, its about republicans v democrats. Neither are getting at the issue.

So its a diversion, when the real discussion that should be happening is much like you describe.

  14. 23 Guesswhat October 24, 2009 at 3:11 pm

“December 7th, 2009”, when Obama will sign away America’s freedom at the UN Intergovernmental Panel!!!! “Dec. 7th, 2009”
Obama’s Healthcare is nothing but his way of reducing the population, “will let people die”!! Obama is about killing people to accomplish his agenda as world leader.
All this pitty stuff about FOX, Afghanistan,
H1N1 flu shots, is a diversion is right.
