Ok. Most of you flunked yesterday’s assignment, and a few of you actually had the guts to show up here and waste your 5 minutes commenting when you should have been studying.
Yesterday I gave you a basic picture conveying the concept of Natural Born Citizen. Here is something a little more complicated, as you have to read the chart and maybe know some latin or legal terms, but study this chart from The Birthers:

If we assume Obama was born in Hawai’i, then an updated diagram from Jefferson’s Rebels further shows Obama’s ineligibility.
Those readers familiar with this subject are aware of the fundamental, threshold ineligibility of Obama due to his citizenship at birth…he is a natural born British subject. Mario Apuzzo, The Birthers, and Leo Donofrio have excellent and detailed treatises on this subject. In addition, He’s Not My President has a detailed book on the subject, called “The Natural Born Citizen Book”. All these sites are on the blogroll and a wealth of knowledge is easily accessed.
So, Congress, it doesn’t matter where he was born.
Bobby Jindhal has a problem as a Natural Born Citizen as well. At the time of little Bobby’s birth, both parents were not American citizens (h/t Erica)

Actually it might be quite interesting should Jindal enter in ’12 or later. If the D’s howl the door would open wide for the examination of NBC. How could either party not have to face the issue head on with the ultimate legal judgment being the outcome?
Just my theory that Jindal’s entrance to running for POTUS might just clear up what the “educated” already know to be what a Natural Born Citizen is!

Some Obie’s tried to use McCain’s birth status as evidence that “he wasn’t born in this country either”. But that situation is totally different. McCain’s parents were both U.S. citizens, and they were a military family. McCain was born while his father was on Navy assignment in the Panama Canal. See article below discussing same. Interesting, the media refuses to “discuss” the implications of Obama’s Kenyan birth, which should be FRONT and CENTER if everyone wasn’t running so scared of being called RACISTS.
What citizenship is the child at birth?
Naturalized citizen because his father was not a citizen.
What happens if you add Indonesian citizenship to the mix?
Same as above only he has dual allegiance and is not a natural born citizen.
In all the cases the father was never a citizen so the child is not a natural born citizen. They are only ‘naturlized’ citizens.
Is Mac a Natrual born citizen?
Yes. He was born of 2 american citizens and on US soil being the US army base even if it was in Panama.

I thought McCain was born in Colon hospital? A private hospital? And thus not born on “american” soil. Besides, I believe those born overseas (even those born overseas ON u.s. base) of american parents to be citizens “by statute” — thus NOT natural born citizens — if one is a “natural born citizen”, one is not “naturalized” nor gains their citizenship status via statute.
Leo had a great article on it with citations, of course 🙂 , whether or not I can find it on his site is another question.

As a kid I was taught that kids born to 2 service parents overseas are natural born citizens. We were interested in this as kids because my 2 sets of grand parents were from Poland and Italy and never got naturalized, died as non citizens with dual allegiance. Sang songs about their native countries and missed it deeply. Fled because of communism/fascism and came through Ellis Island. Refrained from speaking their native tongue to assimilate.
Except I don’t think obama is even a naturalized citizen. He is a citizen by marriage..green card applicant.
So he is disqualified to be president.

Sounds like Pelosi. No surprise there. Her husband is her money funneler. He was given contracts to clean up Katrina. Many deals like this has made her a multi millionaire. They have several LLC’s and dozens of offshore accounts where they do not pay taxes. We get raped of our money with the huge chunks out of our income and they walk down the yellow brick road of tax free wealth. For them, they will get their just rewards at judgement day. Getting into ‘heaven’ will be like a whale going through the eye of a needle. How do they sleep at night? Sleeping pills and booze?

Barry’s not a full-blood American and without proof of his birthplace we cannot even be sure his children are.
Being content with the surmisal he was born in Hawaii, he still is not a full-blood American, regardless of the technicality of his father’s citizenship.
(Fact: He’s half anti-American by birth and wholly anti-American by nature.)
Its obvious he pulled the American card to serve as a convenience. He apparently has a whole deck, including a green card, depending on his game plan. But, without the American father card, he must fold.
The guy is not a natural born citizen of the United States of America. The proof is that the “subject” cannot even be discussed in the press or over American airwaves. Shhhhhh.Let’s pretend…

P.S. According to Wikipedia “Jindal was born on June 10, 1971, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Agarwal Indian immigrants Amar and Raj Jindal, who had recently arrived for Amar to attend graduate school at Louisiana State University”. In this case, BOTH parents were not citizens when he was born.
Erica, how coincidental lol — I just left a comment for Dr. Kate and all regarding the concept of natural born citizen. I would welcome your input.
“Thank you for the graphic Dr. Kate. Something that has bothered me regarding the Natural Born Citizen = born on U.S. soil to U.S. citizen parents is the notion that the parents need only be naturalized citizens. It appears from this graph, and from my gut, that it would make more sense that a Natural Born Citizen = born on U.S. soil to U.S. BORN citizen parents. It just seems that extra jump would more likely provide an additional sense of allegiance and loyalty to the U.S..
Many of us who were born overseas and have a naturalized parent can relate to some sense of allegiance to the homeland of our naturalized parent — especially when we visit, nurture and maintain our relationship with our extended family overseas.

Partly right. It irrelevant whether the parents are “natural born citizens”, ordinary citizens with rights and responsibilities (like Obama’s status), or naturalized citizens; the key is that they BOTH be U.S. citizens at the moment the child is born.
