Articles of Freedom-The Outline

The Articles of Freedom, soon to be published on line in its entirety, is more than just a patriotic ‘feel good statement’. As you will find, it is the culmination of decades of work.  We have exercised our right of petition for redress, which has been ignored with contempt as violations of the Constitution become the rule.

For a first glimpse of the work we did, and what is up-coming, please visit the Continental Congress 2009 Articles of Freedom site.  The Continental Congress 2009 believes that 3%-5% of the American population involved in this effort is enough to shift our government back to Constitutional governance.

And this descriptive article, from the River Cities Reader, is written by one of the key organizers of the event, Todd McGreevy.  The Line in the Sand is drawn:

On whichever side of the media-manipulated left/right paradigm you find yourself, it is undeniable that every branch of government and every major political party has failed to uphold their oaths of office. The expansion of government programs, massive spending of money we do not have, and unlawful wars are patently unconstitutional and violate their oaths of office. The result is economic ruin, less national security, and an ever-escalating police state. We are over-extended militarily across the globe, and our stature as a nation of innovators has been reduced to that of debtors and mindless consumers. This is not due to the failure of capitalism and free markets. It is due to our own lack of vigilance that allows for the advancement of corporatism under the guise of democracy.

I have met many people who just don’t care about such matters. Their lives are not dramatically impacted enough at this moment for any of this to matter. They are more concerned with who won the game or the latest celebrity scandal. Their thinking is that all the debt and ruination of our country’s infrastructure and ability to produce anything of real value is a problem for future generations, not ours…

We have forgotten that it is our civic duty to ensure our servant government plays by the rules that created our Republic in the first place…the good news is that the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, if followed, will remedy what ails America.

…watch the Web site these next few days as the full text of each area of “Violation” and “Instructions to Congress & the States” are posted. Go to to watch videos of the presentations and deliberations of the Delegates. Consider taking the pledge and becoming part of the 3 to 5 percent of Americans that enforce these instructions so that the modern-day revolution of ideas that have served us so well in the past are no longer taken for granted.

Think about becoming part of  the ‘critical mass’ needed to restore our Constitutional Republic!

Forgot to say Becks plan is where the 3 to 5% mentioned is needed in the above thread. Let’s do it. Parts 2-7 are on the side board at You Tube.
