The Waiting is Over

©2009 drkate

It’s that moment when you realize this is what you’ve been waiting for.  A gift of sight on the purpose.  And like blocks, fitting into place, the sounds, smells, and memories of that gift, shown by times past flashing quickly through your mind, just lock right together and into place.  Falling Rising into place.  And the waiting has had its purpose too.

Yes, the time has slipped on by, but the moment has now arrived.  The Articles of Freedom will be published this week, and then we all begin our person to person, county by county, state by state, campaign to Restore the Constitution.

Wish there was a distinct symbol we could wear to show our support and solidarity.

A little something that would make us recognizable to one another…something to beg the question…What is that? Where may I get one?…maybe ribbons with the Liberty Bell applique or maybe a small Libery Bell lapel pin…something to show we are awake and standing…

Agreed. I think when people sign the Articles of Freedom, they will get a pin–a flag with CC2009 and a patriot standing there. I think right now if you wear an american flag on your lapel you will be visible.

    Dr. Kate,

You have contacts with the opposition (the CC and the tea party groups) to the attempted destruction of our government.

Harry Reid is going to try to cram the Health Care Bill through before Christmas! Do you suppose that we could mount a campaign to get people to give up their time in this busy season to hold vigils at DC and at the Senator’s State offices for the day that the bill will come up for a vote in the Senate? Just like September 12th, we did bodies to make an impression.

What really bothers me about what is going in the Senate is that our money is being used to bribe Senators to vote for a bill that an overwhelming majority of the citizens in the United States do not want and Harry Reid is trying to force this bill through during the busiest time of year for people who celebrate Christmas.

But we need to think of it this way: what better Christmas present could you give your children and grandchildren than blocking this disaster from passing the Senate?

I agree with the sense of urgency here. I have contacted the ‘main’ person who organized the 912 march (actually there were a coalition of ‘main people’), the one I know…I will definitely report back here if something starts happening. Thanks

Yay, about the pin. I always wear my flag pin as does my
Little Buggy. It is wonderful to know there is an official CC2009 …they’ll know were united.

If we wear a button or pin that says CC2009 it will draw attention. People won’t know what it means and it will be an opener for conversation about the Congress and what is wrong in our country and how to help.

Troy, thank you for the music, esp the music box one. It is so beautiful. I collect these piano pieces in my favorites to show my 9 year old grandson who has been taking piano since age 4 but who gets too distracted sometimes by baseball, football, basketball, his new sax, and other things. It is getting harder to get him to practice his piano.

Nancy, explain to him that once the piano is mastered, that all the other instruments become very easy to learn.

Sorry to be off topic but it is important that we get this going.
