The People are Coming, and We’re Not Leaving

The Third Continental Congress (TCC) ratified the official Articles of Freedom tonight, January 31, 2010, in an official webinar which at one point had 61 participants representing 31 states.  Our votes were tallied by state, so each state delegation had to coordinate their vote.  The final official Articles of Freedom document will be available on Tuesday morning, as well as a brand new Third Continental Congress website.

As with all of the Continental Congress’ in our Nation’s history, many of those who began in November did leave, for various reasons including serious differences of opinion. The final vote was 26 in favor, 1 opposed, and 1 abstention.

The Articles of Freedom are for the American people.  Tonight we rest; tomorrow, our feet, hearts, and minds hit the ground running.

The ratification of the Articles of Freedom, and getting the right document to the people, has taken about forty days, and forty long nights.  As I write this in the early morning, I’ve just finished a nearly 12 hour webinar in preparation.  Exhausted, I peer into the early rocky mountain winter morning, returning once again to the task at hand for our Country…such a long, hard road ahead. And then, the moon rose to break the clouds…

I see the light of truth, of energy within the gathered storm, the shape, texture and details perfectly revealed when even a small amount of light passes through.

Ratifying the Articles of Freedom

The Works of the
Continental Congress

The Continental Congress 2009 is near ratification of the Articles of Freedom.  Delegates have worked tirelessly since November 21 to finalize a stylized version that reflects the will of the delegates.

Oh we all agonize over unfinished business, and making sure it is readable, not elitist; that it embraces and does not turn away.  Eleven days we had, compared to our Founders who endured a war, years of debate, and five months of finalizing that amazing document known as the Constitution for the United States of America.  Did I tell you how much respect  I have for our Founders, and how I regret the paucity of brilliance, selflessness, and timelessness in our society today?

Health Care and the Constitution

©2010 drkate

Two interesting items presented below highlight the crucial debate in health care reform that Obama does not want us to see:  it’s stunning lack of constitutionality.  No person in support of Obamacare can defend it.  And when they do defend it, they betray their disrespect for the laws of our nation.

First, here is Judge Napolitano debating Representative James Clyburn:

This tape seriously makes me wonder what is wrong with James Clyburn.

‘On Federalism and Freedom’- Patriot Papers No. 3

©2010 K.J. Kaufman

The historical tension in our Nation between freedom  and a strong central government forms the basis for the Patriot Papers No. 3.

Yes, we did produce a near-perfect republic. But will they keep it? Or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom? Material abundance without character is the path of destruction.

If a Nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be….If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed. –Thomas Jefferson “Letters to John Adams and Col. Charles Clancy”

The power of an educated citizenry in their respective states was central to assuring the role of the people as equal to or greater than the servant federal government.  And this tension would be ultimately manifested in the question  of whether or not to develop a central bank. The resumption of this appropriate balance in the constitution lies in the morality and principles of leadership. How do we ascertain those characteristics today?

Progressives and the American Left Exposed

Symbol of Fascism

In an effort to understand the undoing of the Constitution for the United States, I began a series on the subject of liberal fascism in America. The underlying premise of this series is that liberalism, progressives, the socialists, and the American left have attacked the Constitution since early in its history, and that this major assault has now broken out in the open. I believe it critical to understand the basis of this assault as in my view it helps us personally defend and collectively plan for restoration of our  Constitutional Republic.

Recall the several recent posts on this subject :

When America Wins, Obama Attacks

©2010 drkate

After the tsunami of Scott Brown’s victory in Massachusetts,  I have enjoyed that ‘lull’ where the pundits write about the implications of the Massachusetts victory for the failure known as Obama:

But, Barack Obama is failing. Failing big. Failing fast. And failing everywhere: foreign policy, domestic initiatives, and most importantly, in forging connections with the American people. The incomparable Dorothy Rabinowitz in the Wall Street Journal put her finger on it: He is failing because he has no understanding of the American people, and may indeed loathe them. Fred Barnes of the Weekly Standard says he is failing because he has lost control of his message, and is overexposed. Clarice Feldman of American Thinker produced a dispositive commentary showing that Obama is failing because fundamentally he is neither smart nor articulate; his intellectual dishonesty is conspicuous by its audacity and lack of shame. (emphasis added)

This is the crux of the issue as we have known it–he loathes America.  He has his own self-narrative, carefully perfected in all reflecting pools and mirrors, but

…this self-narrative is isolated and doesn’t connect with us. He doesn’t have an American narrative that draws upon the rest of us…

(Update:  Links to articles describing the Kerchner appeal brief are provided at the end of the article.  Plus, only 51% percent of Americans believe Obama is eligible)

On the one- year anniversary of the filing of the Kerchner v. Obama case, Revolution Radio is pleased welcome plaintiff Charles Kerchner and attorney Mario Apuzzo to tonight’s blog talk radio show, beginning at 7:30 pm MST.

From Kerchner’s press release:

Attorney Mario Apuzzo has filed the Appellant’s Opening Brief in the Kerchner et al v Obama et al lawsuit Appeal. The Brief was filed with the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia PA on 19 Jan 2010.  See this link to download a copy and read it.

We look forward to the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals reviewing this matter and ordering a trial on the merits as to the Article II Constitutional eligibility of Obama to serve as President and Commander-in-Chief of the military.

Senator Scott Brown

In reports of 50% voter turnout, Massachusetts voters sent Scott Brown to the U.S. Senate on Tuesday, January 19.  “Teddy Kennedy’s” and “the democrats” seat is now in the hands of the people.

With 99% of the vote counted, the “Boston Tea Party” has won a big one for America:

52% SCOTT BROWN (R) 1,153,808

Militias, Firearms, and the Second Amendment

©2010 drkate

Behind the scenes at the Continental Congress2009, a debate raged on the recommended civil action for the chapter that would eventually become Article 4 of the Articles of Freedom, Militias, Firearms, and the Second Amendment. The debate was between, I believe, the sunshine patriots– motivated by fear, lack of knowledge. or both–and the real patriots.  We are so fortunate indeed that liberty prevailed.

Delegate Jeff Williams, from Washington State, put this podcast together for the Gun Rights Radio Network, and provides various clips from the proceedings and commentary that is truly an excellent representation of the debate.  Please go here for the podcast.

Patriot Papers No. 2 (Update)

©2010 KJ Kaufman

(Update: the link to the site is now fixed.  Our apologies!)

Patriot Papers No. 2, “Lessons from Our Patriot Father”, is found on Constitutional Government.  It begins with a quote from George Washington:

It should be the highest ambition of every American to extend his views beyond himself, and to bear in mind that his conduct will not only affect himself, his country, and his immediate posterity, but that its influence may be co-extensive with the world and stamp political happiness or misery on ages yet unborn…The virtue, moderation, and patriotism which marked the steps of the American people in framing, adopting and thus far carrying into effect our present system of government has excited the admiration of nations; and it only now remains for us to act up to those principles which should characterize a free and enlightened people… –George Washington 1791

Virtue, moderation, and patriotism. Who among our so-called government stands for these principles? Do they matter today?

Announcing the PATRIOT PAPERS

©2010 drkate

I am returning from giving my first live workshop in my state for liberty activists on the Articles of Freedom, and find the hunger for liberty palpable.  The Articles were clutched in people’s hands like a road map already dog-eared from use, confirming and articulating what everyone knew. The Articles are not partisan, they are principled.

“What is next?”  I replied in the only way I knew, “its up to you”.

This is a time where the affirmation of principles is going to be as important as a glass of water. Affirmation of who you are, who we are as a people, and as a nation. We must be able to carry these principles while we strategically move to protect our Nation through 2010 and beyond, as we are under assault from every direction.

Startrails, Grand Teton NP, Q.T. Luong

As I struggled late the other night, exhausted, to put up a decent post, I started three separate threads, then settled on re-posting the article on The Militia:

  • The first thread was on the full year and a half that Obama’s eligibility has been under scrutiny, and now it is certainly a scandal which involves media, and democrat and republican collusion.  And more intrigue on who the heck is  Soetoro-Obama-Dunham.  Fortunately, so many others have covered this in the last 24 hours. This thread was going to finish with a focus on the Kerchner v Obama case, whose appeal before the Federal District Court in Pennsylvania is due January 19th.  This is a case that will eventually go to the Supremes, and still needs your assistance… the timing for an article summarizing the year anniversary of this sad event for America was spot on, but picked up very effectively by others.

The Militia: A Constitutional Defense Force

©2009 drkate
Originally posted on December 10, 2009

(Author’s Note. I am reposting this article because there is still an urgent need to start organizing militias in your communities. First you have to climb over the fear of the government-defined ‘militia’, and understand it is a Constitutional Defense Force that American communities need now.)

The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says:

A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

(Artwork by Randy Steele)

This Amendment in effect requires the States to have in place a ‘well-regulated militia’ to be ready to protect the citizenry and the State as called upon by the Governor or as deemed advisable locally to protect the community.  And every state is out of compliance with this requirement.

In addition, the federal and state governments have passed legislation that directly infringes upon the right of the citizens to bear arms.  With these laws, only the criminals have guns and the people are unable to defend themselves.

[Update on CC2009 President Michael Badnarik at end!]

The experience of the Continental Congress 2009 was one in a lifetime: concentrated time with others to discuss our sacred documents and our bonds as Americans.  Both learning and change were profound, as was the simplicity of discovery.

I am pleased to present an essay from New Hampshire delegate Rick Harvey, presented to his constituents upon return from the Third Continental Congress.

Allen West on Harry Reid

©2010 drkate

Harry Reid said Obama could get elected because he didn’t have ‘negro speak’, more examples of Harry Reid playing the race card.  Joe Biden says Obama is ‘clean cut’.  Kerry says vote for Obama because he is black.  Now who are the racist elitists here?

From Allen West, Congressional Candidate:

The revelation of Senator Harry Reid’s comments referencing “negro talk” is just indicative of the true sentiment elitist liberals, and indeed the Democratic party, have toward black Americans. The history of the Democrat party is one of slavery, secession, segregation, and now socialism. It is this new aged socialism born from the Johnson Great Society programs that have castigated blacks as victims needing government dependency. One need only to look upon the city of Detroit to ascertain what liberal social welfare policies have produced for the inner city… the new plantation for black Americans.

Individualism vs. Collectivism

©2010 drkate

One of the common themes running through the Fascism in America focus is that of the ideology that the individual interests  be sacrificed for the good of the whole.  This has arisen through the application of Darwinism to social ‘science’, militarism as an efficient way to channel social behavior, and the rise of the field of  political ” science”.  G. Edward Griffin comments on this theme, and others, in a series of educational videos about our Constitutional Republic.

Politically Correct National Security

©2010 drkate

Flight 253, Christmas Day 2009

The three terrorist strikes inside America in 2009 not only happened on Obama’s watch, but now can be directly attributed to his orders to intelligence agencies. The  SRATFOR June 2009 report included this disturbing piece of information:

Several weeks ago, STRATFOR heard from sources that the FBI and other law enforcement organizations had been ordered to “back off” of counterterrorism investigations into the activities of Black Muslim converts.

This was to avoid the perception of targeting or profiling of Muslim men.  Let’s call it what it is:  ‘politically correct National Security‘.

Whether the agencies created this policy in ‘anticipation of what Barack Obama and Eric Holder desired’, the bottom line is any policy such as this must be approved by the White House.  Recall that the Navy sharp-shooters could not rescue an American ship captain from pirates until Obama ordered it.  Days went by, remember?

Massachusetts: Another “Shot Heard ‘Round the World”?

©2010 drkate

Massachusetts was  the birthplace of our Independence, where the ‘shot heard round the world’ signaled the end for one country, and the beginning for another.  Many Patriots came from the Great Bay State.  And now on January 19, there is a chance for Massachusetts to help  Americans and true Patriots rise in defense of our selves, our families, and our Nation.

When Texasdarlin came back, I knew that whatever it was, it would be something important to compel her to do so–and the Senate candidacy of Scott Brown did that.  And as expected, her posts and work on his behalf are superb.

Scott Brown is the 41st vote against the Democrats agenda, and his place in the Senate will give all Patriots some breathing room as we work hard to make some changes this year in what may likely be manufactured close key senate and House race results.  Our vigilance is needed, as Scott Brown’s vigilance is needed in the Senate.

And this video is remarkable:

Blackmailing Obama

©2010 drkate

Of all the most dangerous aspects of the constitutionally ineligible Obama usurping the office of the Presidency, the prospect of blackmail is  one of the most frightening.  When a person owes his job to a cover-up and election fraud, he will do anything to keep it.  And remember, if it wasn’t for the fraud, he would not have been on the ballot, and we would not be facing this prospect of treason from within.  In my view, Obama has now crossed that line definitively.

Under this scenario, the United States is dragged into one conflict after another, or the resources of the country are spent elsewhere because a President  is afraid to be caught in a life-long lie, and is thus beholden to another agenda.  In my opinion, a great part of this pResident is motivated by his information-holding blackmailers to do as they say or be exposed.  The pathological narcissist is the perfect target for blackmail.

Protecting and defending the Constitution and American lives should be a first priority for any American President.  But bounded by the ‘favors’ he owes his financial and political backers, protecting America takes a back seat to the payback of those who put him in office.

National Sovereignty Takes Another Hit

©2010 drkate

As reported here, here, and here, Obama has no problem ceding the sovereignty of the United States to the international community…he has no loyalty to America and it is so disgustingly obvious.  According to Big Government,

In 1983, President Ronald Reagan issued an Executive Order which gave permission to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) to operate within the boundaries of the United States.  Reagan’s EO put INTERPOL under the same basic guidelines as the CIA, FBI, ATF and other Federal law enforcement agencies.

Here is Obama’s late-year assault, another ‘quietly issued’ Executive Order in which he cedes yet more American sovereignty and jets off to a Hawaiian vacation:

Give Me Liberty

Entering this year strikes me as a strategic opportunity to continue the national ‘push-back’  against  the obama/socialist politicians’  initiatives,  and also to advance on several other fronts essential to the defense of  self, family, community and state.

I believe we also have to practice and actively engage in developing a vision of what Constitutional Governance is, what it means at every level. All the ‘visions’ we have of the future are of collapse, and while unfortunately realistic, from a quantum perspective, there is an equal opportunity that a different vision can exist at the same time, one that would overcome what might seem inevitable now.

Let’s see what’s up:
