When America Wins, Obama Attacks

After the tsunami of Scott Brown’s victory in Massachusetts,  I have enjoyed that ‘lull’ where the pundits write about the implications of the Massachusetts victory for the failure known as Obama:

But, Barack Obama is failing. Failing big. Failing fast. And failing everywhere: foreign policy, domestic initiatives, and most importantly, in forging connections with the American people. The incomparable Dorothy Rabinowitz in the Wall Street Journal put her finger on it: He is failing because he has no understanding of the American people, and may indeed loathe them. Fred Barnes of the Weekly Standard says he is failing because he has lost control of his message, and is overexposed. Clarice Feldman of American Thinker produced a dispositive commentary showing that Obama is failing because fundamentally he is neither smart nor articulate; his intellectual dishonesty is conspicuous by its audacity and lack of shame. (emphasis added)

This is the crux of the issue as we have known it–he loathes America.  He has his own self-narrative, carefully perfected in all reflecting pools and mirrors, but

…this self-narrative is isolated and doesn’t connect with us. He doesn’t have an American narrative that draws upon the rest of us…

Gee pundits, do you think it’s because he is not an American, didn’t grow up here, is not a natural born citizen, and has no loyalty to us?   Like the  screech owl hasn’t been waking you at night?

When Narcissists Lose

While Americans may have won the immediate battle right now to eliminate the socialist democrats’ 60-vote majority and their abuse of it, Lame Cherry reminds us of the danger we may still be in, due to the pressure that will be put on republicans and Scott Brown to ‘fix’–instead of gut– the health care bill, but more importantly because of Obama’s tendency to start attacking Americans and America when he has suffered a loss, particularly a humiliating and resounding defeat in the ‘bluest of the blue’ states.  There is palpably a growing backlash from Obama’s policies that has now extended into three serious electoral defeats in the last several months.  Brown’s win was a particularly serious blow as it deprives Obama of his Senate tool, and exposes the abuse of power of the socialist democrats.

In an article entitled ‘The Impact of Narcissism on Leadership and Sustainability’, author Bruce Gregory astutely points out that narcissism, as a characteristic,

… is addicted to power and control. The people who are controlled and possessed by it must have power. The addict in the private sector gains power by instantaneously gratifying his needs through drugs, alcohol, sex, or gambling. The addict, or the person or group dominated by the narcissist, gains and holds power by dominating and controlling the flow of information, the rules, and the processes for participating in life. (Emphasis added)

The signs of this narcissism in Obama are so clear, no wonder all of his records had to be erased and a whole new identity created for him.  But his inner pathology becomes exposed the more the veneer of his image fades away:

When narcissism perceives that it could lose control of a situation or process, it often feels threatened. The grandiosity’s sense of omnipotence is being threatened. When this happens, narcissism’s response can be one of character assassination of those who are threatening its objectives. The presence of character assassination is another way of detecting the presence of narcissism.

Even before the Scott Brown victory Obama’s outside image, reflecting his inner turmoil, began to crumble. No longer is he the ‘well-dressed’, ‘clean’, Obama, he is disheveled, no longer wears a tie, and can barely conceal his disdain.  But a narcissist lives out his childhood trauma through his relationships with others, and will do anything to not relive those experiences. As this article in American Thinker notes:

While Obama was tarred from his support of losers in the Virginia and New Jersey contests, Massachusetts left him no choice. Too much was at stake. His signature effort, the takeover of the health-care system, depended on that single vote. So he was flushed out of the Oval Office at emergency speed to throw a lifeline to a swamped candidate. The tired, near-shabby figure who appeared in Boston last Sunday to mouth a pro forma endorsement that he obviously did not believe was not the Obama of last year. Not a godling, not a New Man, not a higher step in evolution, but a sad and overwhelmed individual who is having bad time of it and sees worse coming.

His failures thus fully exposed, and his entire agenda now stopped cold, the narcissist in chief begins to retaliate against Americans, for example:

• Obama goes after the banks and Congress raises the debt ceiling to $2 trillion dollars, enslaving future generations with no end in sight. As stocks tumble on the news, American savings and investments take another hit;
• Obama allows the report on the Ft. Hood massacre to be released without the name of  the murderer, Nidal Hassan, without the mention of the words ‘Islam’ or ‘terrorism’, giving the protection of American lives to this growing internal threat of Islamic terrorism the one fingered salute;
• Obama has, in less than a year, destroyed the democrats through exposing their radical, far left agenda.  For generations to come.

I believe it is going to get worse, like a coiled rattlesnake in a corner, expect the bites to come from every direction.  Keep your pitchfork handy, and  your eyes open.
