Progressives and the American Left Exposed

Symbol of Fascism

In an effort to understand the undoing of the Constitution for the United States, I began a series on the subject of liberal fascism in America. The underlying premise of this series is that liberalism, progressives, the socialists, and the American left have attacked the Constitution since early in its history, and that this major assault has now broken out in the open. I believe it critical to understand the basis of this assault as in my view it helps us personally defend and collectively plan for restoration of our  Constitutional Republic.

Recall the several recent posts on this subject :

In a nutshell, although I had planned an analysis of liberal fascism as a straight line from Wilson, to FDR, to Obama–and places  in between–each article I wrote forced me to go into other areas which needed discussion.

  • The foray into Lincoln was to show outright violations of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights during the civil war, and to outline a curious elimination of an original Thirteenth Amendment that would have barred attorneys from serving in the government, and thus barred Abraham Lincoln from serving.
  • Regarding the role of science and the intellectuals in the undoing of the Constitution, Darwin, Marx, social Darwinism, and the rise of the progressive movement became the foundation for the intellectual and political assault on the Constitution, which began outright with Woodrow Wilson.  An interesting current article in the Charlotte Observer, “Truths are Self-Evident”, was a timely reinforcement of the themes.
  • The attack on individual liberty and individualism, and its substitution with collectivism, is a central goal of the left, progressive, and socialist movements.  This is designed to break down individual and national sovereignty in favor of the collective whole, including the world.
  • The piece on lying just points out now that the democrats have  exposed  their true roots: communism.

What this series does is to point toward the internal actions of the progressives and liberals mounting an intellectual assault on the Constitution. These individuals were influenced greatly by outside ideas, like Marx, Hegel, and others, but make no mistake: fascism did happen here in America, and it has reared its ugly head again.

Are you willing to fight for liberty against these forces?

Beck’s Film

Conveniently, Glenn Beck put together a film called “The Revolutionary Holocaust: Live Free or Die”, which exposes the brutal face of communism in history resulting in the murder of tens of millions of people as a strategy.  It’s the same kind of thinking that has Billy Ayers believing the slaughter of 25 million Americans would be needed to bring about the collapse of America and its makeover into a communist nation.

I find this film excellent documentation of the fascists and communists we are taught to think of:  Hitler, Stalin, and Mao.  The film lightly touches on Obama’s czars and staff, but doesn’t mention the origin of fascism in the United States, or its historical and current perpetrators.

In this regard, it reinforces what we have been taught, but not what we should know about our own history too.  Perhaps I am too harsh, or tired.😯

*sigh*  Guess I’d better keep writing!

Thanks for the link love. As for not covering the origins, I think Beck is going to be developing all of that during his show in coming weeks. It is a massive amount of information that has been kept from the American public over decades.

We are very lucky that you have started the timeline, and I would not be surprised if your stuff is being plucked by others.

Yeah that’s right drkate. But America is awake now. The Scott heard around the world was a vote against fascism. Hell even Germany has said thier goodbyes to the won. Let the talking heads all speculate why Scott Brown was voted. It was a resounding NO to Communism/obamamaoism. Yeah keep writing. It’s working. Now if I could stir the Hillbuzz boyz to back Carly Fiorina…😦 But I’m banned for a less than favorabe question about Hillary.
So here are video’s of Carly in hopes it gets passed on. ONE STATE AT A TIME. PUMA.

Once again, we have a politician saying the federal government needs to help create jobs. NO IT DOESN’T. The federal government needs to get out of the way and let the innovators/entrepreneurs create jobs.

Fiorina as an economic advisor to John McCain doesn’t inspire much confidence in me. I’m not sure employees or investors in HP were all that impressed, either.

Not to pick a fight with you Quantum – I value your wisdom and opinions. I’m just not going to ever support a candidate again without looking intensely at their record or experience. We’ll never find any one person we agree with on every issue (if that ever happened divorce lawyers would be out of business ;-)), but our economy needs people who understand how limited the role of the federal government is in it.

“As if California GOP Senate candidate Carly Fiorina’s massive bailout-supporting economic advice for John McCain wasn’t bad enough (reminder from yesterday’s column: “In California, McCain’s PAC supports former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina – a celebrity name with deep pockets of her own, massive media exposure, and a checkered business record. Fiorina served as the economic adviser to McCain, who supported the $700 billion TARP bailout, the $25 billion auto bailout, a $300 billion mortgage bailout, and the first $85 billion AIG bailout.”), now comes the revelation of that she has had a long political love affair with Jesse Jackson.”

Watched Beck’s special last night. Wish it was longer. Wondering why Fox honchos didn’t give it more time b/c communism is what we are dealing with in DC.

As a young girl, I was always fascinated by the World War II story, the US role, and how H rose to power in such an educated culture. Did lots of reading, watching documentary’s and research. And what I carried away with me is this “no matter who the storyteller is and what slant or spin they want to put on their work, I’ve never been satisfied with the excuses made for and by the sheep.” Never.

And I feel this same way today regarding my former D friends and colleagues who defend 0 and the majority. Rubbish! It’s past time for the private club to be destroyed once and for all!!!

Oh, if we could just reclaim the Thirteenth Amendment you referred to—A large number of our “representatives” are lawyers and as such they have been trained to believe the end justifies the means. It doesn’t matter what the facts are, just make your case to win.
My training and career as an aeronautical engineer is very much the contrary—determine the facts or what caused the situation and then make the best decision you can. This is quite the opposite of choosing the answer or goal and building a story to support that end.
There is a place for our lawyers, of course, but I don’t think that place is in our congress.
    Keep writing!!!

Until about 2 years ago I would have never thought that fascism or communism existed in our country. Last year I looked up fascism on the Internet. There were a number of articles. One in particular interested me. I can’t remember who wrote it but it was a lady who defined fascism. The article was published in the Reader’s Digest. She not only gave an excellent definition of it but she listed the most fascist countries in the world. Guess which country was one of the MOST fascist ones? You guessed it.

Obamano has reached a new low. Gallup daily tracking has him polling at 47/47 today after Tues. election. Go to HotAir to view. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. Slip and slide right over the cliff. Maybe if the numbers sink low enough, some good chap will leak a real authentic bc. and all the other papers missing on this unknown dude.

    Hi Everyone,

Since your thread is about progressives/communism and their exposure, I think you might be interested in reading their goals. As you will see, they are covering all the bases. The goals were originally written in 1963, but you will be amazed at how many are in play right now. It is a real eye opener. I just posted it. We have our work cut out for us to stop this train wreck of an administration and all their interrelated organizations.

Hillary is pissed saying it’s about China but I know better. She doesn’t want the commie o aka steve dunham to be messing with our freedoms. I know her.
Today in her speech on Internet freedom, Secretary Clinton declared:

I hope that refusal to support politically motivated censorship will become a trademark characteristic of American technology companies. … It should be part of our national brand.”

She had some tough talk, saying:

Countries or individuals that engage in cyberattacks should face consequences and international condemnation.”

    She also said:

In an interconnected world, an attack on one nation’s networks can be an attack on all.”

Clinton took a tough stance, as she ought to have. So many of us rely so much on the Internet, and cyberattackers thousands of miles away can wreak so much havoc with just a few clicks.

Rush Limbaugh spoke this week on his radio show of Hillary and that she should run in 2010. One thing I’ve pondered since her primary debate where she declared herself a progressive is whether or not she is truly a progressive in today’s movement that would destroy this country. I wrote a piece today at my site on this subject and concluded that I don’t believe she belongs to the far left progressive movement of today that is united in destroying liberty and freedom in this country. I’d be interested in the thoughts of the readers of this forum. You can find the article here:

I think so. You can not believe anything anyone says. You cn only judge them by their actions. Politicians will say anything to get elected. There is nothing sincere about them. Including Brown and Palin. Something happens to someone once they have power. They all seem to lose touch. I am very worried about McCain and his influence on Brown. He has alot of backpedaling to do and he knows it.

I Am Sorry I Voted For Obama

The main reason I voted for Obama was because I thought he was “the lesser of two evils”. I was *so* wrong. I deserve to be taken out and shot for betraying my country this way. It’s one of the few things in my life I’m actually ashamed of.
    ~~
I Am Sorry I Voted For Obama

I was completely convinced real change was coming. Obama promised ‘No Lobbyist’ but his administration has hired more lobbyist than any President before him. Obama has literally sold Washington. I guess the more things “change” the more they stay the same.

I’m sorry I voted for Obama. I had the idea that his intention was to change the way this country is run, and it’s more of the same. I’m done with politics. Clearly our political masters are not even masters of themselves

I must admit (rather sheepishly) that I was sucked into the Obama hype…one of the most regretful decisions I’ve ever made. Should have totally seen this coming…especially from a Democrat. Spending $$ we don’t have, setting my kid’s generation up for disaster…I should’ve known better. I AM SORRY!!😦

I’m sorry I voted for Obama. The world thinks U.S. policy a joke, no one takes this man seriously. Day by day our wars strains our blood with no clear leadership, burden by our moronic policies. I should have voted for a man with initiative. I see the world laugh at America everyday, with Obama we have lost our prestige. The world knows Obama will not flex our muscle, they know he won’t make hard calls. I am sorry McCain.

I am ashamed and, very sorry I voted for obama. I was really sick of Bush and McCain seemed liked a baby bush with wrinkles. The promise of change and, transparency did it. I’ll never vote again without a lot of research behind my vote. Please forgive me America.

Caught this from the comments section of a Wall Street Journal story today:

If I had a time machine, in addition to going back and changing a few things I did as a teenager, I’d change my vote back to Hillary. I can’t even believe I let my wife and I get talked into supporting this liar.

President Obama is such a disappointment. He’s kept only a couple of promises, even though the good guys control Congress. He’s not uniting the nation like he promised either. He’s not bringing us together – he’s tearing us apart as he tries to increase his approval ratings.

I wanted him to be the first black president and he is. He’s such a screw up, but it’s not because of his skin color. It’s because he doesn’t know how to lead. There was a time I was worried about being called a racist for saying such things. Now I don’t care anymore.

Obama is the most awful president we could have possibly gotten — even Dean would have done better.

I have lost faith in the Hope Barack has not brought to us. I do not trust what he says anymore. When he opens his mouth, nothing but lies fly out.
Like Rush says, “Once trust is lost, you cannot gain it back.”

I wonder if “relationship therapy” will be covered in Obamacare — the Independent who voted for Barack are going to need it

AND I CAN”T RESIST ONE MORE post entry
Don’t underestimate the power of “white guilt” in the last election.
“White guilt” only works on people whose views are essentially racist. That may be difficult for them to understand and then face but it is obvious that their view of other people is more strongly influenced by recognition of skin color than it is by content of character. They should be the last ones to ever hold up Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as a hero because they aren’t honoring the essence of his message at all.

QL this reminds me of a joke I heard years ago about people who had died and ended up in Hell. After going through different rooms, a man chooses a room where the people are standing drinking coffee but are up to their knees in crap. Of all the rooms he thinks he has chosen the best and in a while someone hollers out “okay, back on your heads, coffee breaks over.”

It is as though these people drug us all along on this little hope and change trip to suffer along with them and now they are so sorry. Well, folks, it is a little too late to be feeling sorry no

      • 16 alforhill50 January 23, 2010 at 4:28 pm

Geesh, I can’t even copy and and paste. I quit. The ending should read

now they are so sorry. Well, folks, it is a little too late to be feeling sorry now. Our Great Country may not survive this assault on her.

I have little patience for people who say they are sorry now for voting for Obama or writing op eds or writing in blogs how bad they think he is. THEY got us into this mess and I don’t know if they have the capability of getting us out. It’s something that I am having a very hard time forgiving.
