Join the newly-elected leadership of the Third Continental Congress tonight on American Politics 101 beginning at 7:10 pm eastern. From the press release:
THIRD CONTINENTAL CONGRESS
ELECTION OF OFFICERS ON MAY 16, 2010
Elected delegates of the Continental Congress 2009 (CC2009) met by electronic meeting on Sunday, May 16, to elect new officers for the Third Continental Congress of the United States of America and to affirm it’s purpose to restore our Constitutional Republic under God.
The delegates elected Dan Gonzales (FL) President; Terry Dodd (CO) Vice President; David Helms (AR) Sergeant at Arms; and Catherine (Dr. Kate) Vandemoer (WY) Secretary/Treasurer. In addition, Chairs of the Administration Committee, Gene Brokaw (AK) and Bylaws Committee, Kath McCubbins-Carlson (AK) were appointed and will lead the effort to develop organizational infrastructure and bylaws in preparation for a regular meeting of the Congress scheduled for early June, 2010.
Building from the Articles of Freedom created by the delegates to the CC2009 and which were officially ratified by a special meeting of the Continental Congress on January 31, 2010, and not content to leave the Articles to First Amendment petitions, the Third Continental Congress (TCC) convened with vigor to take on the continued emerging danger facing our Constitutional Republic from an increasingly centralized government deliberately attacking individual freedoms and State sovereignty.
The Congress is expected to address the numerous issues postponed in the CC2009 as well as developing effective and strategic civic action plans that enhance personal and State sovereignty.
In his opening remarks, President Gonzales stated: “I want it understood that TCC will not be a lame duck Congress waving the banner of liberty while sitting back watching the Gestapo marching in. We will speak the truth and if it hurts, so be it. We must be sober minded and stand strong as Patrick Henry did when he made his famous speeches which scared the daylights out of all the sunshine patriots.”
Newly-elected President Dan Gonzales is the lead presenter on American Politics 101, and has this to say about tonight’s program:
Join us for the Third Continental Congress meeting of the minds!
The discussion will be exciting as the newly elected leadership discusses what ails America, what needs to be done to correct it and to what lengths we can expect to go in order to restore liberty! Will it take the spilling of blood…is that liberty tree in need of Jefferson’s water?
All of the above Patriots were paramount in the creation of the Articles of Freedom. These documents make a very strong statement to our servant government and those who read them will be educated about the violations our servants have flagrantly flaunted against the Constitution of the United States of America. There is much more work to be done and if we don’t take personal responsibility, who will?
Revolution Radio, 9 pm Eastern
After this discussion at 9 pm eastern, Revolution Radio picks up on the communications requirements for our efforts to restore our Constitutional Republic, and takes a look at the internal enemies of the Patriot Movement.
