In memory of all those who have died in the service of our beloved country, I offer the following Tributes.

We are the land of the free, because of the brave.

“Taps”–The Most Sacred of Bugle Calls

A forgotten history of Memorial Day, formerly “Decoration Day”.

In tribute to all our Armed Forces:

When I put the flag out this morning, I experienced different emotions—one of pride and gratitude and one of regret. Regret that we had let our heros and protectors down by what we have allowed our government to become. There are still some good and honorable people in our government, but the majority, I’m afraid, are not what we should have deciding the fate of our great nation. They are not worthy of those who have protected the nation over the years.
We, however, have the power to rectify the situation if we only will accept the challenge. Truely, there are those among us who are still patiots and will do what is required to restore our country’s dignity.
Let not the sacrifices of our heros have been in vain.

I spent 2008 and 2009 in Iraq as a contractor and I can’t count the number of times I heard taps played for the memorials of fallen soldiers. It is a sound that you never forget and even now, when I here it I have tears in my eyes.

We Veterans must remember that we took an Oath when we enlisted. For me their was no expiration date when I gave my Oath and I still stand by it today. I WILL defend the Constitution until I die, whether from old age or in combat.

As we take the battlefield and take the fight to those who are hell bent on trashing what they call an outdated piece of paper. For this war is not like any other. It will take place in our homes for we do battle with our pens, computers, talking to our politicians and protesting. I fear it will soon be a true war and to win this war, we must rememeber, are we willing to pay the ultimate price.

Sad Sad state of affairs. The commander in chief abandons the servicemen so he can go pick up tricks on the basketball court to take to the gay bath house and then go party with Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam——-> Black Liberation Theology (kill whitey)

He’s no globalist. He’s in the tank for Nation of Islam.
    Soros has been punked.

Rich T. thank you for your service and for what you are doing now. We will prevail, even though it will be a very difficult battle.

Here are taps played by a very young girl which I found on a blog last year.

NNN–oh yes I heard that young girl play taps during the show–she is awesome and wonderful to know that a younger person is aware of that song!

Some scientists are predicting, that if not stopped, this oil leak disaster could kill a third of the worlds’ oceans. And you do the math from there.

Pray people. Prayer works. We don’t apoplogize for it.
