Memories of Greatness

© 2010 drkate

I am inspired to remember one of my favorite artists, Miriam Makeba, on this day. Her dedication to her land and home in the face of all that has happened inspires me in my homeland.  There is a struggle we must face, and we can do it with grace.

Her story:

Stories of how we begin to remember

November 2008, remembering Miriam Makeba, a courageous, original, great, inspirational, powerful,  South African woman…

Going home, always free…

African Sunset

A picturesque sunset lights up the sky
A magical moment of light passing by
Romantic rhythms that beat through the night
Mother nature’s gift for you and I
Oh! Oh!
Africa is my hope

Don’t you know that home is
Where my heart lies
Across the ocean
Into the African skies
Through the hills and valleys

Over the mountains
Africa, is where my heart lies

A new day dawns upon our land
Breathing life for the creation of man
Holding treasures of beauty given for all
The African dream. that touches the soul
Of all
Our motherland, our home

Don’t you know that home is
Where my heart lies
Across the ocean
Into the African skies
Through the hills and valleys

This is where I’ll stay
The birthplace of my heart

And my home is America, where my heart lies, re-membering.

Have a glorious day!

Awesome! Miriam’s voice is surely a Wonder of the World.

A living gift, we’re fortunate that It has been recorded for all time. And, even more fortunate that someone has the heart to share Miriam’s tapestry of heart, soul and breath.

The Spirit of Love and Devotion for one’s Motherland, what a lovely way to be remembered.

A transcendental moment. A common thread. A burning teardrop.

Dr. Kate, how beautiful. I can’t top Papoose’s response. That is beautiful, too, Papoose. I’m going to look Miriam up and see what her full story is.

My response got after your video, Papoose. That little girl singing is awesome. That song can be an inspiration for us going forward with our mission to save our country. We so indeed need Him to lift us up to achieve what we need to.

Uh-oh. An other Executive Order (7/2/10) signed, sealed and delivered to benefit Andy Stern.

Biodefense; Toxins. Cool. Jekyll and Hyde in real life.

Thank you, dear Papoose!! That is beautiful! I don’t know where you find these great videos. But I apprediate all of them!

) A robust and productive scientific enterprise that utilizes biological select agents and toxins (BSAT) is essential to national security

What country’s national security are they talking about, do you think? For sure, not ours.

  9. 11 Papoose July 11, 2010 at 1:56 pm

Barfy is insane. Andy Stern should be on the deadly toxin schedule.

    They’re both sickening and deadly.

Yes, Papoose, obama is, literally, insane. His assignment to NASA, the space agency, as its top proity, to make Muslims feel good about themselves is proof positive.

btw, I’ve read a little more of the “mysterious” posts by that woman at Ctizen Wells’ site. I think she’s writing fiction and trying to pass it off as fact.

Papoose–You certainly have a way with words! You write beautifully!

The little girl singing a beautiful song with an awesome voice is just too much to bear—she brought tears to my eyes.

You are one proud American girl!

    Thanks!

I know we need to get rid of the income tax. What do you all think of the Fair Tax that some are proposing? An organization that I get emails from called Liberty Council is pushing for support for this bill. There are one or two other proposed tax bills out there but I can’t remember what they are or where I read about them. Any input would be appreciated. thanks.

“Fair Tax” is still about income tax, which is illegal. I say we go back to the taxes allowed in Article I.

The focus should be on the 16th amendment, which was never legally ratified…and its connection with the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. Woodrow Wilson, the first serious progressive to begin to attack the Constitution openly.

this was the victory over the central bankers over the US and has led to the waste in this century.

Fair tax only postpones and confuses the essential discussion of the 16th imho

Don’t know if the HRC fans here have seen this. I found it at Briebart TV. Documentary regarding teh election fraud w/ in the DNC during the primaries. Hard evidence from the S. side of Houston, which I beleive is Shelia Jackson Lee’s area. Socialist Bi^#h.

Thanks Dr. Kate, for the info on the Fair Tax. I do remember discussion on it a while back.

I think our founding fathers would be very surprised at the restrictions this country has on what we are allowed to do on our own properties today. Fascism abounds!

drkate, does it not seem as though something is afoot since FOX nor any other channel would even touch the voter intimidation and voter fraud perpetrated on Hillary Clinton’s workers and voters at the Caucus’. James Carville first called OB the One out after his non chalant attitude over the oil spill and then Bill Clinton sort of gave him a slap also about the spill and his lack of concern. It seems to me that a few more people are beginning to realize that this man child intends to do our country and our people harm. Why are they bringing this into the news now? Is it because someone finally had the nerve or “balls” to stand up to Holder and His highness the Fraud about the voter intimidation at the polling in PA involving the BP thugs. It just seems odd to me that they didn’t cover this before he took office not now that so much damage has already been done by he and his ilk.

    Hillary won.

  16. 26 Rosemary Woodhouse July 11, 2010 at 8:47 pm

Well, then why aren’t the Clinton’s speaking out!? Instead, Hillary is marching in lockstep!

    • 27 Quantum Leap July 11, 2010 at 9:13 pm

Hillary filed a lawsuit for election fraud October 28 of 2008. I saw the court papers online.
Right after that she was targeted for SOS. Get it? She didn’t want the job. Some of us suspect she was forced, threatened, to take the job. Making her SOS put her out of range of being a threat to SOBama.

    • 28 Mary July 11, 2010 at 11:56 pm

      Rosemary,

Remember, Hillary wrote her thesis on Alinsky, doing such a good job that Alinsky himslf offered her a job. Also remember that before obama came along, Hillary was George Soros’ darling.

She marches in lockstep because obama’s leftist agenda is her leftist agenda, though I think she would have transitioned more subtly into the NWO.

  17. 29 Quantum Leap July 11, 2010 at 9:10 pm

Why are they talking about GiGi’s video’s now? It’s a little late doncha think? I mean it was out there, archived and documented for everyone to see so we would NEVER FORGET! Puma’s stuck it under everyone’s noses and they ignored it.
Repubs will never know how much Pumas mobilized them with starting the Tea Parties and making a decision to bring them aboard and teach them grassroots. They are back to their Lib bashing with zero focus. They are hopeless non-fighters. Good luck with that.
