Another 2010 Warning

Our Marxist Progressive Officials are Traitors, who have unconstitutionally seized our government and are killing us by a Thousand Cuts, with more every day. ~Andrew C. Wallace

America in Distress

The 2010 elections are by no means the end of the threat to America…no, they offer us a chance to begin the process of undoing 130 years of the money-changers’ assault on America, perpetuated through the socialist, marxist operatives disguised as ‘democrats’ and ‘republicans’.

We will not change the threat by November elections–we will only increase our chances of slowing down its manifestation and beginning to eradicate it.  And, what if the votes are stolen again and we lose?  I note again the surreal lack of concern on the part of democrats.

We cannot afford to lose ground.  All the efforts of the Tea Party activists, the 912rs, the Constitutionalists, and others could be lost if we fail to act strategically in the upcoming November elections.  The dhimmocrats are hoping that the internal strife within the republican party, and the appearance of tea party and independent candidates, will guarantee their victory and retain their control of the house and senate–and indeed it could.

Colorado and Florida

The Colorado Governor’s race has come down to three:  the liberal democrat Hickenlooper; the true conservative, Tea Party favorite, and Republican party nominee Dan Maes, and the outsider former  republican representative Tom Tancredo who is running as an independent.

Stop for a moment and think about the number of races around the country where a third party candidate threatens to split the republican vote and ensure a democrats victory.  See the pattern?

In an eloquent plea to fellow Coloradans, state Senator Schultheis admonishes on the absolute peril of voting for a third party candidate:

Tom Tancredo’s recent defection from the Republican Party in order to run for Governor and/or attempt to force Dan Maes out of the race is extremely misguided and creates a near insurmountable obstacle on our road to victory. Third-party candidates NEVER win elections; Tancredo said that himself. We refer to these third-party candidates as “spoilers.”

Remember Ross Perot?  He never had a chance to be President but he ensured Bill Clinton did.  Tancredo addressed the Tea Party activists in 2009 with this advice on third parties:

“Some patriots are tempted to launch a third political party or back one of the existing small parties that never attract more than one or two percent of the vote in state races. I strongly believe that such a course is suicidal and would only result in splitting the conservative vote and guaranteeing the re-election of liberals and socialists.

I believe the Republican Party is the natural home of conservatives and that the road back to constitutional government lies in taking control of the Republican Party from top to bottom, from county committee to the statehouse and all the way to Washington, D.C.

Throughout our nation’s history, third parties have never succeeded in taking power and running the government. They have sometimes succeeded in pushing a major party in a new direction, but just as often, they succeeded only in electing the more liberal candidate after many conservatives waste their votes on a third party candidate.

So here is Tancredo, running as the spoiler in a critical year for conservatives.  This is what the sickness of politics does to people who care for nothing more than power and their careers. And that includes the power to throw an election by playing a spoiler.

In Florida, Charlie Crist (R) is playing the role of spoiler, running as an Independent for a Senate seat against Kendrick Meeks (D) and Marco Rubio (R).  Could this result in a win for Meeks?

No Time to Lose

There will be a time in our country when we can afford to vote on principle, and vote for an independent party.  But that time is not now, and there is too much at stake to believe that we have that kind of luxury.  We don’t.

Instead we must face our problems head on:  we must remove from our government the people who have enslaved us.  Such an effort requires a set of ‘rules of engagement‘–a focused set of key actions that will make meaningful change in our system returning it to a system of liberty and prosperity.  The Post & Email posted an excellent article precisely on topic and is highly recommended.  A short excerpt:

Our victory over the Godless Marxist Heathens in government will be simple, but not easy.

  • First, we must defeat all Marxist Progressive incumbents, both Democrat and Republican, who committed Treason by voting for unconstitutional laws and anti-constitution judges while looting our country.
  • Next, we must vote only for candidates who convince us that they have the courage and conviction to prosecute officials they replace for Treason and related crimes.
  • Your candidates must also agree to impeach and prosecute Marxist Officials not up for reelection.
  • Candidates must agree to impeach the four or five Supreme Court Judges who do not strictly comply with the written word and meaning of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.
  • Candidates must agree to fire all Federal Judges and to reinstate only those few who have complied with the constitution, don’t make law from the bench and don’t deny people their constitutional rights in court.
  • Candidates who don’t understand or support the Constitution and Declaration of Independence must be defeated.

What the Alinsky, Cloward-Piven strategy is designed to do is to scatter our energies such that we are unable to see the precise areas to focus on. This article identifies dozens of key steps, including not voting for third party candidates that will enable our triumph over the forces of darkness that engulf us now.

Your only choice is to live and die as a proud and free American, or to suffer in abject groveling poverty as a slave to the arrogant Marxist Heathens who despise ordinary working people.

    Great article Dr. K.
I agree 100%. I have watched presidential elections where the third party guaranteed the election of the democrat.
People are starting to wake up and know something is drastically wrong, but with the Cloward/Piven going forward at breakneck speed, people are becoming confused and scattered.
I was glad to hear Atty. Wilton Strickland has moved to Missoula, MT. I missed your program today but I pray Atty Strickland is of the same mind set we are. Missoula is only an hour from my house, maybe I can get an appointment with him after he passes the MT Bar.

Dr. Kate, you are so right in all that you say here. All of the conservatives should think of what is best for the country in this election. There is no room for egos and attitudes. Our future is cetainly not clear at this point. November could go either way. Maybe we will be successful and have the main thugs out of there before Nov.

    STOP THEM COLD!!!

Tim Cahill is doing the same in MA, running as an independent for Gov and splitting the vote that would be going to Charlie Baker. Result: Obama clone Deval Patrick is leading in the polls despite being an utter failure and embarrassment.

In FL I think Rubio’s still looking good. Meeks has no chance, unless something drastically changes, or Crist pulls a Scozzafava and drops out and throws his support behind the dem. Or vice-versa. Crist is even well ahead of Meeks in the polls at this point, and if he wins I wouldn’t be surprised if he caucused with the dems. I read somewhere Crist was on Martha’s Vineyard this week while Barry’s been there.

I think all the bailouts, stimulus and HC dollars they have bilked out of us taxpayers are funding aholes like Crist, Tancredo and others who are being paid off to ensure a democrat gets reelected in key states in November. Why else can noone account for where these billions and trillions of dollars Barry and Pissolo and dingy Harry have alloted themselves for all these bills that have not improved our lives or promoted more jobs or saved more from foreclosures, have gone. The whole agenda of these dems have been to line their own pockets and acorn and union bosses and turncoats such as Crist and others to throw the elections because they know they can’t win any other way but to cheat. The Chicago Way. Hope this makes sense. I cannot in my mind fathom our military being denied the right to have their votes counted when they are overseas on the front lines fighting so those people can be free to vote and we can be free to enjoy our freedoms. It is nice to know that those people are free when we don’t know yet if our own votes will be counted or if we will be cheated.

Friend on FB posted this. The pic at the site looks like it’s an old fight song.

    http://library.duke.edu/digitalcollections/songsheets.bsvg301348/pg.1//

    The Patriot’s call to Duty
    AIR—“Row, Boys, Row.”

Hark, brothers, hark, the trumpet’s calling,
    Sire and son our Country to save;
By our strong arms and with God’s blessing,
We’ll preserve the blessed freedom our forefathers’ gave,
    Come from the mountains—valleys—hills,
    Come from the work shops and the mills;
Our voices join in thunder’s glee,
For God! our Flag! and Liberty!

    Traitors, quail! the mandate’s given,
    Retribution’s near at hand;
Your wrongs to man are known in Heaven,
The offended laws your death demands.
Each voice responds from North and West,
    And from the hearts of all good men;
All, all aver before high Heaven,
The injured laws they will avenge.

    Yea! vile. unblushing traitors tremble,
    The hand’s upraised the knot to tie;
    The martyr’s blood—the widow’s sorrow,
Proclaim that you shall surely die.
The mother’s pangs, with pining babes,
The desolate homes of sons and sires,
    Decrees that mercy be delayed,
Till traitorous bands shall all expire.

All praise to our heroes—our brave Volunteers,
Who leave home, wife and parents for duty’s call,
Who’d rather meet death with all its terrors,
Than see their loved land by knaves enthralled.
Go forth then brothers, hand in hand,
    Truth and justice is your shield;
May victory crown your noble band,
And Southern bigots soon must yield.

Be assured gallant soldiers, our Country’s defenders,
    With the nation’s affections your names will entwine;
Triumphant an arms in a cause that’s so holy,
Like the undying spirit will last throughout time.
Then onward, brothers; on to glory,
    Make the soulless braggarts flee;
    Ten thousand joyful voices sing,
    Our Flag! Volunteers! and Victory!

I realize this is probably an old fightin’ song of war between the north and south but I take issue with this line.

“And Southern bigots soon must yield.”

It needs to be changed or sumpin. I’m from the south and I am not a bigot. I grew up during the race riots in B’ham, AL and I know what real racism and bigotry are and any hint of being called names such as this is especially troublesome for me. We did not have our first black student in a classroom until I was in H.S., and it was due to the busing law that was passed. Blacks were not allowed to eat in a restaurant or use “white” restrooms or ride in the front of commerical buses with whites. Obama is a racist bigot. Jeremiah Wright is a racist bigot. Eric Holder is a racist bigot. The south has come along way since I was a young girl growing up in B’ham, AL and Obama and his bunch of freaks have undone a lot of the goodwill that exists here now. I am sure if you look long and hard enough, you can still find some hard headed ignorant bigots around in “redneck areas” but then I am sure you could find it up north as well.

Media Silent about Michelle Obama Mosque Visit in Spain
    By Steve Cooper
    The Conservative Montser.com
Gee, I wonder why people would even think that Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim.
My opinion on the Obama being a Muslim theory is this:
Obama grew up as a Muslim, but then he became a Marxist (Atheist) in college. He even stated in one of his books that “I sought out the most radical Marxist professors while at Harvard”. Obama then was seeking religion to use as a tool to make him popular in the community for his political ambitions. Someone was guiding this guy and it was most likely someone with powerful links the communist party.
Black liberation theology is what Rev. Wright was preaching and his rhetoric is 100% radical Marxism. They may talk about Jesus, but he the real devotion is to Karl Marx, Saul Alinsky and Lenin.
Remember what I keep saying, that the ‘radical left’ are allies with ‘radical Islam’ to destroy capitalism and Christianity. Technically, Obama would be an apostate if he converted from Islam to Christianity like is believed and the sentence for that is death. The hatred for freedom, Israel, the USA and other religions besides Islam are the key factors here. Rev. Wright has had close ties to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farakhan and once again, this is due to the alliance between Marxism and Islam to destroy America by using race and class warfare as a weapon to divide the people and cause unrest.
The ‘global left’ and ‘global Islam’ share the same goals of infiltration and tyranny; that is why they are such strong allies.

Has anyone heard anything about teh FTC and this? I saw it @e it’s news website.

    http://beforeitsnews.com/story/152/159/Use_Caution_When_Commenting_On_This_Post.html

The Federal Trade Commission is now actively policing comments left on commercial websites and punishing individual commenters who do not disclose their business interests to the government’s satisfaction. In a proposed order announced today, the FTC accused Reverb Communications, Inc., a public relations firm and its owner, Tracie Snitker, of violating § 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act — which bans “unfair methods of competition” — because the company’s employees left positive reviews on Apple’s iTunes store for a video game marketed by one of Reverb’s clients.

The FTC recently granted itself the power to regulate online endorsements, and in this case, the Commission said Reverb employees should have disclosed their status in their iTunes comments. The FTC’s complaint said “these facts would have material to consumers in their purchasing decision regarding the gaming applications.” The Commission, however, cited no evidence that any customer relied on the reviews in purchasing the products in question. In fact, the Commission alleged no specific harm to any individual whatsoever.

    Yes. Glad you mentioned it.

The races are too close for comfort and if Repubs don’t get off the couch and vote the crooks will steal this again. We NEED wide margins. And Please NO party politics. Our country and freedom are at stake and wedge issues have no place in our fight. Dems will be helping vote them out too but if Repubs don’t want to fight and are to lazy then hey, you made your bed you lay in it. And please, no K street incumbents. Vote them out from all parties. Michele sent a message to all, in case you didn’t get your thank you note:
For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars for my vacation in Spain. My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven’t lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night suite at a 5-Star luxury hotel. Thank you also for the use of Air Force 2 and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.

Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close. That’s quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days.

    Cordially,

    M. Obama

My wife went to a breifing on beng a substitute teacher for our school district today. She has been a stay at home Mom for the past 12 years and our youngest one wants her to teach at her school.

She came home fuming mad today. One of the topics breifed was illegal aliens. During the background check if the school district finds thatyou are a illegal then it will NOT:

    1: call the local police
    2: call immigration
    3: WILL hire you

This steamed me as well. If they are presenting a SSN and are found to be illegal, then the school district has violated the law

Obot thuggery at it’s best. I posted a article about the vote rigging that was happening in Houston. Thankfully I don’t live there, but am close enough.

Houston Election Headquarters Warehouse Destroyed by Fire, Just Days After Fraud Allegationsby Publius
    From Election Law Center blog:

    http://biggovernment.com/publius/2010/08/27/houston-election-headquarters-warehouse-destroyed-by-fire-just-days-after-fraud-allegations/#more-161577

A few days ago we blogged how the Houston voter registrar had a press conference announcing widespread voter fraud and thousands of illegal and phony voter registrations submitted by an ACORN-like organization called “Houston Votes.” Those stories are here and here.

Harris County Tax Assessor Collector [and voter registrar] Leo Vasquez accused the group of submitting thousands of bogus voter registration applications in recent months in what he said appears to be a campaign to taint the voter rolls.

Well this morning Mr. Vasquez’s warehouse containing all of the voting machines, supplies and equipment burned to the ground.

A note of caution: obviously law enforcement officials in Harris County will get to the bottom of this. We are posting this because, for now, Harris County is going to have a mess of an election in November because all of their equipment and supplies have been destroyed.

Ground Zero Muslim center may get public financing

Reuters) – The Muslim center planned near the site of the World Trade Center attack could qualify for tax-free financing, a spokesman for City Comptroller John Liu said on Friday, and Liu is willing to consider approving the public subsidy.

The Democratic comptroller’s spokesman, Scott Sieber, said Liu supported the project. The center has sparked an intense debate over U.S. religious freedoms and the sanctity of the Trade Center site, where nearly 3,000 perished in the September 11, 2001 attack.

“If it turns out to be financially feasible and if they can demonstrate an ability to pay off the bonds and comply with the laws concerning tax-exempt financing, we’d certainly consider it,” Sieber told Reuters.

Spokesmen for Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Governor David Paterson and the Islamic center and were not immediately available.

The proposed center, two blocks from the Trade Center site in lower Manhattan, has caused a split between people who lost relatives and friends in the attack, as well as conservative politicians, and those who support the project. Among those who support it are the mayor, civic and religious groups, and some families of victims.

The mosque’s backers hope to raise a total of $70 million in tax-exempt debt to build the center, according to the New York Times. Tax laws allow such funding for religiously affiliated non-profits if they can prove the facility will benefit the general public and their religious activities are funded separately.

The bonds could be issued through a local development corporation created for this purpose, experts said.

The Islamic center would have to repay the bonds, which likely would be less expensive than taxable debt.

New York City’s Industrial Development Authority could not issue debt for the center because the state civic facilities law, which governed this type of financing for non-profits, was allowed to expire about two years ago.

    Dr. Kate,

Thank you for highlighting the governor’s race in Colorado. I am intensely involved in this and working at the local level to STOP TANCREDO cold in his efforts to throw the race to the socialist, Mayor Hickenlooper.

Dan Maes represents everything we’ve been looking for. A true conservative, a family man, a man of deep faith, pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, anti illegal immigration, NOT a politician but a small business man with the ability to lead, someone who has traveled the state for 18 months meeting people and listening to Colorado citizens, someone who won the State Assembly and the Primary race with less than 20% of the money that the losers spent. A true citizen STATESMAN.

And yet, the democrats AND republicans (and the traitor Tom Tancredo!) are doing everything they can to destroy him, ignoring the majority of voters who helped make him the winner. Why? Because Dan Maes knows the role of governor is to work for the people of the state and not the parties. He terrifies them because of the power and influence they will lose.

This is happening in many races around the country (Alaska may be the latest example). On the one hand, it shows how desperate the progressives are, and on the other, it shows us how much is at stake and how hard we all have to work to overcome them.

Farmers Branch files appeal in immigration ordinance suit
      11:08 AM Thu, Jul 15, 2010
      Dianne Solis/Reporter

As expected, the city of Farmers Branch filed its appeal this morning of a federal court judge’s ruling against an anti-illegal immigration ordinance to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The City Council voted to appeal in April. Judge Jane Boyle ruled in late March that Ordinance 2952 of Farmers Branch was immigration regulation and because of the supremacy clause within the U.S. Constitution such authority to regulate “is exclusively a federal power.”

Michael Jung, an outside attorney for the city, said he welcomes the opportunity to bring arguments before the New Orleans-based 5th circuit judges. “We are optimistic that the federal court of appeals will uphold the ordinance,” said Jung, a lawyer with the Dallas firm of Strasburger & Price.

On June 28th, the U.S. Supreme Court said it was take up another immigration case that tests federal power over immigration enforcement versus state and local government authority. The case grew out of a 2007 Arizona law that allows the state to suspend or yank licenses of businesses found to knowingly hire illegal immigrants, among other things.

And, the law was signed by Janet Napolitano, who was then Arizona’s governor and now heads the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security.

Also of note, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeal upheld the Arizona state law. It’s considered a more liberal court by many.

Jung hopes that there will be quick movement on the FB appeal as it argues its case. But he noted the delay in a decision from the 3rd U.S. Court of Appeals over an ordinance in Hazleton, Pa.

Hazleton has been waiting for a ruling since it closed its arguments in October of 2008. Hazleton crafted an ordinance targeting both renters and businesses.

The third candidate thing certainly does present a problem and is a manifestation of ego, nothing more. This situation our nation faces transcends politics, it is a threat brought by outside forces. It should be met by concerted efforts, but the politicos will not allow that to happen. Therefore, we the voting citizens must vote as if our very future existence depended on it–for , indeed , it does !!

Vote as if your life depends on it !!

I do not believe we will win cleanly. I believe, from reading leftist blogs, knowing the deviousness of the left, that if we win it will be narrowly. Dirty tricks are being planned and will be a part of the election. Democrats will claim the Republicans will have cheated in their close wins and will tie up the results in the liberal courts. They will not willingly give up their seats if they lose closely. They will intimidate voters at the polls.

This is why we must protect he second amendment rights we have, as I fully believe, a violent fight is in the offing. We must keep our powder dry.

The Lou Pritchett “You Scare Me” letter was a great one and has “gone around” several times since its 2009 publication.

I’d also urge everyone to read the Initial Appeals Brief from Attorney Apuzzo’s website along with the many essays by both Mario Apuzzo AND his Lead Plaintiff, Charles F. Kerchner. While there, it would really help to donate even a small amount to the publicity/education fund presently used only for full-page newspaper ads in the Washington Times National Weekly Edition.

The Initial Appeals Brief gives a very good overview of the original action AND it puts the lie to the many false arguments by the Obot Flying Monkeys about why BHO is either (their words) eligible to hold the office he now occupies OR that it (their words) doesn’t matter that he is not eligible.

Your understanding of the relation of the U. S. Constitution to We The People will be forever enlightened.

Actually, Obama’s whole life seems to be nothing but a work of fiction. The man has never shown himself to be Constitutionally eligible to hold the office he now occupies.

If you’d like to see something from a different point of view, watch the two short videos below which, even though they start slowly and have a bit of fun, contain a wealth of factual data – more than we’ve seen from Obama.

In fact in the second video a famous senator is quoted speaking about someone that sounds for all the world like “Our Boy” and really strikes a chord.

Only thing is the senator was the Roman named Cicero speaking in 42 BC – but the message is still very directed and pertinent for all of us:

    Three Little Words

    Merry Christmas OmeriKa!!

Beck’s just the messenger. It’s not about Beck. People teary eyed in the crown for the entire rally.

The letter mentioned by no nonsense nancy should be posted here for archive. So here it is:

Subject: Lou Pritchett’s Open Letter to President Obama

The author, Lou Pritchett, is a well-known public speaker who retired after a successful 36-year career as the VP World Sales for Proctor and Gamble.

    Lou Pritchett

    Foremost Leader in Change Management

Lou Pritchett is one of corporate America’s true living legends- an acclaimed author, dynamic teacher and one of the world’s highest rated speakers. Successful corporate executives everywhere recognize him as the foremost leader in change management. Lou changed the way America does business by creating an audacious concept that came to be known as “partnering.” Pritchett rose from soap salesman to Vice-President, Sales and Customer Development for Procter and Gamble and over the course of 36 years, made corporate history.

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA

    Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don’t understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and ‘class’, always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the ‘blame America’ crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer ‘wind mills’ to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use ‘extortion’ tactics against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O’Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

    Lou Pritchett

Analysis: The letter is authentic. Lou Pritchett, author, motivational speaker, and former vice-president of sales and customer development for Procter & Gamble, confirmed in an email that he indeed wrote the above opinion piece and submitted it to the New York Times for publication, though to date it has only been published online and circulated via email.

Give me Liberty or give me Death. Eternally, for you America.

You have been ever so GoOD to me. Thank you, for every little thing.

    Here! Hear!

    I second these emotions.

America’s government has decided to discriminate against the workers, the builders, the spine. The purchasers of things with taxed dollars to pay more tax for the privilege of having the ability to acquire basic needs as well as to fund the paying of taxed wages to those employed to provide us with civil services.

    Vicious circle of slavery.

Here I am! Thanks for asking. You know, that little 4 yr old was awesome.

But getting back to me, I had to take a break from barry and co. I was here, reading and not posting, just got a little burned out.

The past 3.5 yrs of all this researching and investigating and spreading the word about the coup that was allowed to take place in our country has been devastating to all of us and continues on a daily basis to devastate and destroy our great country.

Barry and co will get what they deserve soon, come Nov he will be a lame duck, when the repubs get back in they better undue his entire 2 yrs of destruction or they too can be removed by we the people. Maybe its time we only elect Blue Collar workers (not seiu) who know how to run a biz and a budget and get rid of all of these harvard do nothings. After all, they’re the ones taking the orders from the NWO!

The Justice Department filed another lawsuit against immigration practices by Arizona authorities, saying Monday that a network of community colleges acted illegally in requiring noncitizens to provide their green cards before they could be hired for jobs.

The suit against the Phoenix area Maricopa Community Colleges was filed less than two months after the Justice Department sued Arizona and Gov. Jan Brewer (R) over the state’s new immigration law. It also comes as the department is investigating Joe Arpaio, the sheriff in Maricopa County, who is known for tough immigration enforcement.

In Monday’s lawsuit, Justice officials said the colleges discriminated against nearly 250 noncitizen job applicants by mandating that they fill out more documents than required by law to prove their eligibility towork. That violated the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, the department said.

The law’s anti-discrimination provision “makes it unlawful to treat authorized workers differently during the hiring process based on their citizenship status,” said Thomas E. Perez, assistant attorney general for Justice’s Civil Rights Division. He said the government “is acting now to remedy this pattern or practice of discrimination.”

Tom Gariepy, a spokesman for Maricopa Community Colleges – which operates 10 colleges and two vocational training centers in and around Phoenix – declined to comment.

Justice Department officials said the lawsuit is unrelated to the case against Brewer and the probe of Arpaio and stems from a different investigation that began in January 2009 – the month the Obama administration took office.

It is the latest example of stepped-up enforcement by the department’s Civil Rights Division, which has been reshaping itself after an exodus of lawyers during the Bush administration. It filed a similiar lawsuit in April against John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York.

The lawsuit was filed Tuesday before the Executive Office for Immigration Review, a Justice Department unit that adjudicates immigration cases. It was filed on behalf of Zainul Singaporewalla, a U.S. permanent resident who was offered a math teaching position at Glendale Community College, part of the Maricopa network.

After filling out a federal form attesting to his immigration status and producing a driver’s license and Social Security card, he was told to complete another form with more immigration-related information, the lawsuit said.

That form required other documents and his green card. When he couldn’t present his green card, the suit said, the college would not process his paperwork and would not let him work.

The government is asking a judge within the Justice Department unit to order the Maricopa colleges to pay a civil penalty of $1,100 for each of the 247 non-U.S.-citizen job applicants it says were required to produce the additional documents. It says the colleges ended the practice in January.

      Posted by me:
It is my understanding that If Arizona is using E-verify when they are hiring, then there should be no lawsuit. E-verify is a law and it would apply to any job in the state. Community colleges are state owned and run colleges.
An immigrant that has permanent residence would still have a green card. It is a lifetime green card that allows a non-citizen to permanently live and work in the U.S. How did Zainul Singaporewalla get a Soc. Sec. card and a driver’s license without proof? Looks to me like Social Security is the organization that is breaking the law.
I lost my Soc. Sec. card one time and in order to get it re-issued I had to take a certified (raised seal) birth cert. to get a duplicate card.
Which brings us back to obat, how did he get a Soc. Sec. card from a state where he never lived and with a Soc. Sec. number that belonged to a dead man, without a certified birth cert?
