So glad the veterans are beginning to march. I hope there are a million people in DC on Veterans Day.

    • 2 SallyAl October 19, 2011 at 6:26 am

It’s not just Veteran’s. It’s ALL Patriots who want to get the ball rolling on changing things. I will be there and No-Nonsense-Nancy said she would go. Are we the only ones from this blog. Really? Really?

      • 3 drkate October 19, 2011 at 9:18 am

I think Tenacity may be going…probably others from this blog.

Can’t accept any criticism on that regard…I’ve been to DC twice and to Lakin’s trial. I have worked nearly 3 years on this blog to raise awareness. I have no job or funds. I will be at the Birther Summit funds permitting.

AND, I still hope the veterans are first and foremost, along with Americanr Patriots…my own belief is once the Veterans and active military start getting involved, the ball will really start to roll.

    The Full Alinsky
    Michael Walsh, NRO.com

“In case you haven’t figured it out by now, what’s going on in Washington and across the country is the Full Alinsky, brought to you by the same malcontents who have been awaiting this moment for more than 40 years. It’s been a long time wandering in the desert for the Sixties Left, but this is their moment, this is their time, as somebody or other from Punahou once said. “

What I see happening today is so evil. Just read that the new flu shot has live virus strains, and the chain drug stores are offering a $20.00 gift cert if you go get your flu shot.
I was trying to remember how long it took for the Vietnam protestors to finally go home.
People that came here to escape Communism are scared to death because there is no place to go this time.
As long as Soros has money, he can keep the protestors for a very long time and now they are walking them by the houses of wealthy people. They are hoping for violence. But they would be much happier if the Tea Party joined which won’t happen, or at least I pray it won’t join the filth on Wall Street.
I wish the press would ignore them like they did the Tea Party but that won’t happen.
    We Patriots are an island

    • 7 PharmD October 19, 2011 at 5:05 am

As for the flu-shots. Those are live-attenuated shots. It is whole virus particles that have been inactivated. Those produce a better immune response than vaccines that only use pieces of a virus.

Vaccines are kind of unique in medicine in that they are ‘one-size fits all.’ Everyone gets the same dose. Few people actually test to see if they are immune following a vaccine, but studies show that the rates of immunity are highest from live attenuated virus vaccines than by other forms.

The vaccine does not contain fully active virus particles, and I recommend getting the vaccine. I got mine.

I have never had a flu shot in my entire life (51) and I never will….I also can’t remember the last time I had influenza…..If I’ve ever had it at all it would have to be when I was a small child….I can’t recall ever being sick with it….I know of many people who have gotten the flu and then, like clock work, came down with flu.

        • 9 Troy October 19, 2011 at 6:18 am

          Correction above:

I know of many people who have gotten the flu SHOT and then, like clock work, came down with flu.

          • 10 PharmD October 19, 2011 at 7:29 am

I work in a hospital, so I get exposed to a lot more things than most. I myself have only had the flu twice in my life, and once was when I was working for a company and it spread through the whole place. We all ended up with it eventually.

It is amazing how some people seem to never get the flu, and others get shots and still manage to get it.

That’s part of what I was talking about before. Not everyone actually GETS the desired immunity from shots unless you actually have your blood tested for antibodies.

Personally, it is my belief that I’d rather try to protect myself from as many strains of diseases as possible. I understand that not everyone shares this view, and I respect that. I only make my recommendation as a person of the medical community that frequently sees patients come in with issues like the flu that get compounded due to other infections, sometimes acquired at the hospital.

And as a health care provider, I feel that it is my duty to try to immunize myself to try to prevent carrying the virus to my patients, as many of them already have compromised immune systems. Vaccination does not prevent me from carrying a disease, but it does shorten the time it will stay in my blood before being eliminated.

          • 11 SirLurksAlot October 19, 2011 at 7:51 am

Yep..Happened to me just like that. Then wife’s work had free flu shots. Never been so sick ever. Not before, not since.

            • 12 PharmD October 19, 2011 at 8:04 am

Don’t know what to tell you. The only year I got the flu as an adult, I didn’t get a shot.

I’ve also had my blood drawn to do tests to confirm that my vaccines are working. (it was required)

thoroughly before and after bringing anything into my home after shopping.I have been pretty lucky so far.

                • 14 PharmD October 19, 2011 at 11:25 am

                  You’re not that far off…

Odds are most of the people in this blog carry MRSA in their nose right now. It doesn’t really cause any problems until you get sick and it can opportunistically cause an infection. If you’ve ever been to a hospital, you probably harbor worse things than that. The fact is, people carry around more pathogens than you honestly want to know about. It’s scary.

That’s part of the reason I get my vaccines. If the general population has a good chance of carrying some nasty things, it’s almost assured that I will. I want as much protection as possible to prevent letting any of the critters that just hang out take over. I’ve seen far too many times what happens. It’s sad, and that’s part of why I actually went INTO infectious diseases.

As a second-year student, I watched a poor lady receive terrible care because her daughter wouldn’t let go… She had a MRSA infected foot wound, and the daughter wanted us to treat it ‘more aggressively’ but was not open to amputation. The doctors tried to tell her that if you amputated one foot, she’d walk out on a prosthesis. Daughter said no. Fight it. So they did. And the poor woman lost the fight. Eventually the other foot got infected too and started turning gangrene. They had to amputate both feet to save her life, what little life it was. I saw her ever day, in a hospital bed, puffed up with inflammation. The machines said she was alive, but I knew that she died long ago. I decided then and there to specialize in infectious disease so that if I ever had a case like her, maybe I’d be able to help her win the fight against the infections that ended up ravaging her body.

So yeah, while I know that there are definitely people against vaccines, I see far too many cases where vaccines could have possibly prevented things. I devoted my life to easing their pain and helping them depart this world and enter the next as comfortably as possible. I wish I could say I save more than I do, but sometimes they just can’t be saved.

                  • 15 Paula October 19, 2011 at 12:45 pm

Same here, Troy. As far as getting the questionable vaccines, how about educating people as to building their immune systems instead of relying on vaccines that are made with harmful substances that were never meant to be injected into our bloodstreams.

            • 16 aj October 19, 2011 at 12:50 pm

I cannot dispute what the medical community tells us about the flu vac. But from experience something just about killed me last year after I had the shot.

OT..if you can be ot on an open thread. Proof positive that Barry is not an American Citizen.

There is no way that an American doesn’t know that there are 50 states. I don’t care how you became a citizen, you will know that there are 50 states. I went to my local minimart last night to get a beer. I saw a young friend (I am old) and we were chatting. I decided to take a small poll. A bunch of kids were hanging around, some coming and going. I asked them 2 questions: How many states are there and who is the Chief Justice of the Supreme court. Every one got the states right, not so much with the Chief Justice.

My young friend was minding a young child (4-6 yrs old). As he ran by she blurted to the child “what’s the gross national product of Czechoslvakia”. The youngster stopped for a split second and said…..”vodka”. True story.

BTW.. he also knew there were 50 states. No way barry is a citizen.

As Tuesday night’s GOP presidential debate turned to the topic of foreign policy, Ron Paul said he would cut “all foreign aid.” When asked if such cuts would also apply to Israel, Paul said, “I would cut all foreign aid. I would treat everybody equally.”

      http://www.theblaze.com/stories/ron-paul-would-cut-all-foreign-aid-even-to-israel/

      • 38 Tenacity October 19, 2011 at 1:37 pm

Did you listen to the rest of his response? Israel does not need financial support from us and it does more harm than good. He didn’t say he wouldn’t stand with them. He said he would stop the ridiculous handouts. He didn’t say we would stop being an ally. He also said he would not cut defense. People are hearing with brain-soiled ears. Israel has a powerhouse military. Foreign aid is just like Dr. Paul said, “..it’s taking from the poor in this country and giving it to the rich in other countries.” Only a tiny percentage of foreign aid ever ends up benefiting the needy. This is even true in the private sector, but threefold with government aid. I will never give to United Way for that very reason. I give only to certain church groups that operate with volunteers and have people on the ground that distribute goods and services directly to the needy.

        • 39 heather October 19, 2011 at 2:25 pm

And I only give to very local charities-United Way is another ponzi scheme—seems the charity never goes to where it is supposed to.

Ron Paul did an awesome job last night and what really gets my goat is when Ron is talking Romney is always turned in his direction with a silly ass smirk on his face………not sure if he is agreeing with Ron or laughing silently at him.

All in all Ron Paul is lettig the cats zip right out of the bags with nothing left inside and the people are loving it———and of course Anderson Cooper and co is hating every word from Ron Pauls mouth!

I also notice that none of them challenge Ron Paul—why is that? Because they ALL know he is right! and the only one brave enough to shout it from rooftops!

Regardless of whether or not Ron Paul wins, he is causing a mass awakening and has a massive following. And that’s a good thing.

        • 40 Paula October 20, 2011 at 5:55 am

Yea for Ron Paul for speaking with clarity and the simple truth of our Constitution! He was right on with what he said. Very sensible, I agree.

Ron Paul Defends Occupy Wall Street and Middle Class at Republican Debate
By DJ Pangburn Wednesday, October 19, 2011

In the Las Vegas debate last night, Rep. Ron Paul defended Occupy Wall Street protesters against Herman Cain‘s invectives, stating, “Mr. Cain has blamed the victims.” Thank you, Dr. Paul.

Rep. Ron Paul is definitely the only Republican candidate who has displayed a degree of sympathy for the Occupy Wall Street protesters, and last night he proved it on a national stage by addressing resident Republican crazy man (one of many), Herman Cain.

      • 42 Tenacity October 19, 2011 at 1:46 pm

It is a real stretch to claim that Dr. Paul defended the OWS protest. He did not lower himself into that mud pit. He did attack the other candidates and particularly the bankster cabal that owns the Federal Reserve.

        • 43 Paula October 20, 2011 at 6:13 am

I think so, too, Tenacity, with regards to RP not defending the OWS protest. It would seem that both Mr. Cain and Mr. Paul had some valid points about the OWS, but I’m not as informed on this whole issue. I did hear Mr. Paul turn the attention to the Fed. Res. and the government bailing out Wall Street instead of the people who are losing all they have or was that Mr. Cain saying that? I know Mr. Cain did not say a word about the Fed. Reserve with that question.

I don’t have all the facts about the OWS, but it sure does seem to me that something is awry here. Something smells fishy.

      • 44 drkate October 19, 2011 at 1:47 pm

If Paul thinks the victims are the OWS protesters, he is wrong! I am not singing wall streets praises, but this was unacceptable to me

        • 45 Tenacity October 19, 2011 at 2:08 pm

His reference was to Cain’s defense of Wall Street and the Banksters. The victims are the People in general, not the protesters. He did not speak to OWS. The problem was the way the question was asked and Dr. Paul did not fall into that trap. He ignored the bankster controlled Cooper and went after Cain.

    Busted: DOE Altered Solyndra-Related Documents
    October 19, 2011 5:26 P.M.
    By Andrew Stiles

It appears as though the Obama administration has been caught red-handed trying to cover up evidence in relation to the “green” loans programs that helped finance Solyndra. CNBC reports that a number of press releases posted by the Department of Energy have been retroactively altered to remove the name a solar company thought by many to be the next “green” failure:

The changes occurred in two press releases from the Department of Energy’s loan guarantee program — the same program that has been the center of controversy surrounding the failed solar company Solyndra.

Both were changed to remove the name of a company that has received negative press attention in recent days, SunPower, and replace it with the name of another company, NRG Energy.

In the April case, the Department of Energy loan programs office announced in a press release on April 12 “conditional commitment” to a $1.187 billion loan guarantee to support the California Valley Solar Ranch project, which it said was “sponsored by SunPower Corporation.”

But that release was later changed on one website to say the project was “sponsored by NRG Energy.” The date on the release remained “April 12, 2011.”

“RESTORING A FREE MARKET IN MONEY”

    By Judge Napolitano

    Excerpt:

“Does the government work for us or do we work for the government? The President is still pushing his jobs bill. Tonight, if it cost you more to get a job than you would earn from it, why take the job?

President Obama has added nearly $4 trillion in debt to the backs of your children and grandchildren and to generations of Americans as yet unborn. Republicans as well as Democrats in Congress authorized him to borrow all this money, and he has done so at a rate unknown in history. In less than three years in office, President Obama has borrowed more money than all presidents from George Washington to George H. W. Bush combined. In one three day period last month, he borrowed $163 billion, a new record. Because of all that money borrowed and spent, the cost for food, clothing, and fuel is about 25% higher today than when President Obama took office. Unemployment, which was at 6% when he became president, now hovers steadily at higher than 9 %; that’s about 15 million American adults out of work and looking for jobs. And still the president wants to borrow another half trillion and spend it between now and Election Day.”

“A JOBS BILL THAT BANKRUPTS AMERICA’S ECONOMY”

    By Armstrong Williams
    Columnist
    Townhall.com

    Excerpt:

“Representative Jessie Jackson Jr. (D-Il) and many of the out-of-touch Democrats in Congress are proposing a jobs plan that will literally bankrupt not only the Federal government, but also America’s economy. These elite, misguided Democrats are proposing $40,000 jobs for all the 15 million unemployed Americans. The cost of that would be a mind-boggling $600 billion. What about the 10 million discouraged workers excluded from the unemployment statistics because they stopped looking for work? That is another $400 billion. The total cost for the official unemployed and the discouraged unemployed would be $1 trillion. Add this to the Federal deficit of $1.2 trillion and the total deficit increases to $2.2 trillion, and it becomes a crushing 14% of the nation’s GDP.

But wait, that is the tip of the iceberg.”

    PharmD,

I must challenge you on your ‘cheerleading’ for the seasonal flu shot.

I work in Public Health and prior to that, the Biotech/Pharma industry.

Not sure if you realize this, but the untested, unproven H1N1 vaccine is again contained in this year’s seasonal flu shot; there is so much of this garbage vaccine left over (over 50% of the public didn’t buy into the scam a few years ago) that they’re sneaking it into the seasonal shot in order to get rid of it. They lost money on it; BIG money!

What you may not realize is how long drugs take to go through three phases of clinical trials before they’re marketed to the public….years and millions of dollars! This vaccine, created to deal with a ‘swine flu pandemic,’ (which was a manufactured scam) was rushed through clinical trials in only a few months. When I read the ‘ingredients’ in this vaccine, my jaw dropped: Tween and animal cancer cells, to name a few of the lovely items contained in this ‘vaccine.’

Although my department bangs the drum constantly regarding flu shots, there’s *no way* I’ll have this garbage injected into me, knowing what I know about clinical trials. If people choose to get the shot, I simply ask that they be informed before they go to the clinic.

I, for one, will not be there.

    • 56 Tenacity October 19, 2011 at 8:20 pm

I can’t guaranty it, but it has been represented that any pathogens injected via a vaccine can potentially be killed by taking MMS. I’m with SueK, but I’m also not worried about the flu because I take MMS and have not contracted the flu in the last 3 years in spite of being exposed to it because I take MMS on a preventative basis. You can learn about MMS at http://JimHumble.biz and I buy it at http://mineral-solutions.net. Buy 2 bottles or more at a time to get a good discount. One bottle treats 1 person for a year for about $20. If you get sinusitis or other chronic infections, this will end your need for antibiotics. I have a deviated septum with a history of chronic sinusitis taking 2 or 3 rounds of antibiotics a year. I have been well for 3 years now because of MMS and my immune system is stronger at age 60 than it has ever been.

Thank you SueK for that information! I had a feeling there was more to the “flu shot” than PharmaD was telling and you’ve confirmed it for us. I’ve begged my Mom (81 years old) not to get it and so far she hasn’t but she really wants to because she’s so afraid of getting the flu. I’ve been advising her to build her immune system up so that she doesn’t have to worry about getting the flu this winter.

    • 58 dabigragu October 19, 2011 at 8:39 pm

SueK, Thank you so much for taking the time to educate us on the potential and obvious dangers associated with the seasonal flu shot. I do recall seeing your well informed posts a couple years back and during flu season.

Tenacity, I use those MMS daily along with vitamin D-3, they’re both excellent for building up the immunity. Excellent advice. Thanks.

      • 59 Paula October 20, 2011 at 6:51 am

I’ve tried the MMS and have an older bottle of it in my cabinet, but could not handle it after about the 6 drops level, plus the smell and taste. If something is that hard for me to take I’m just not going to be able to do it and stick with it (and I’ve got a tough stomach and take all kind of bad tasting herbal concoctions). I stick with the D-3 and other things.

Also, this is why it is so important to keep representatives and senators that will fight for our freedom and right to choose our own healthcare (supplements-foods-doctors), not those who will go along with the powers that be that want to take these rights away from us which has already happened to some extent, because I can’t choose alternative thinking doctors to help me with my healthcare due to the fact that my ins. won’t cover it, and I don’t have the kind of out-of-pocket money to spend in order to choose my own doctor that is not on my ins. list. This is because I have to pay for health ins. that doesn’t allow me the choices I want to begin with! I’m about fed up with that whole senario.

Same thing with the organic foods and grass-fed beef and yard raised chickens…the gov’t has so many regulations and control because of being in bed with big agri or big business that the small-town farmer’s prices are so high, I can’t afford to buy from them. I don’t know all the intricacies of big government and big business, but I know theres a lot of lobbying and governmental control which is wiping out the small farmers that I would like to buy from but can’t afford to. I hate the whole evil system!

        • 60 PharmD October 21, 2011 at 3:31 am

Sorry I have not been around to reply.

I’m well aware of the three phases of clinical trials (4 if you count post-marketing surveillance) I’m also aware that the H1N1 strain of flu is contained in this year’s seasonal flu shot. Flu shots are designed to prevent the three most prevalent strains of the flu.

In regards to some people commenting that some people immediately caught the flu right after getting the shot, I would say that is highly unlikely. What IS happening is unfortunately, they are getting flu-like symptoms as a result of getting the shot. This is somewhat common, and unfortunately, they can be pretty severe. They are not, however, dangerous or fatal. That’s the main difference in the flu-shot and the flu. It’s a documented issue, and there really is no way to tell if you’ll get flu-like symptoms. That said, if you got them before, it is highly likely you will get them again with future vaccinations. If you ARE one such person, I would probably recommend against getting the vaccine unless you are at a much higher risk of not surviving a flu.

As I stated before, some people are anti-vaccine. I respect that and am not demanding anyone get them. Personally, I believe very strongly in vaccines. After all, when was the last time you saw a person get polio? Or small pox? Or measles? Heck, even chicken pox, something we all got as kids is pretty much a non-issue anymore.

In my eyes, an ounce of prevention beats a pound of cure. Especially when that pound of cure is found in an IV bag of normal saline. And I respectfully ask that you take my statements as the advice of just someone else in the medical community that honestly has your best interests at heart according to his beliefs. If you choose not to take the vaccine, I wish you the best of luck in not getting whatever was contained in it. You may be quite right in not taking it. If you don’t get sick, then it really was unnecessary. But I also ask that you respect my right to wish to take the vaccine and recommend it to others.

I will also admit that I am a bit pro-drug. It’s kind of funny. My wife is a physician, and she’s so anti-drug it’s not even funny. Me? I never saw a condition I couldn’t fix with a pill. Maybe it’s the difference in our professions. Even within the medical community, there are varying opinions.

In regards to MMS, I’d like to weigh in on that. I am actually very much against it, but that is as much from my background as a pharmacist and a chemist. Ten, you are quite right that it will likely kill most any pathogen you inject it with. There’s a reason for this. It’ll kill most anything it comes in contact with. Take a closer look at the ingredients for MMS. The primary ingredient is sodium hypochlorite. Perhaps that seems familiar to some of you, it goes by another household name. Bleach. When you think about why it is able to kill pathogens, ask yourself why it can do this. Then ask yourself why it will only kill pathogens and not your healthy cells. It claims to be able to kill bacteria both bacteria and viruses. I strongly believe this is the case. And anything that will kill both bacteria and viruses (two things with vastly different biological makeups) will also kill just about anything else, too.

That said, if you truly enjoy taking it, odds are it will work. It will especially work if you think it will if by no other reason than the placebo effect. Placebos are crazy powerful, and quite frankly, I have no idea why. The same placebo can be half as effective as ibuprofen or half as effective as morphine. How? I wish I knew.

Look, I admit I’m not a physician. I’m a pharmacist. I specialize in drugs and their interactions. I can’t diagnose you. I only serve to give what I think is my best advice. I serve no higher purpose than that. If you don’t want to follow my advice, follow the advice of someone else you trust.

          • 61 Ann October 21, 2011 at 11:39 pm

You’re wrong about the MMS. Mr. Humble has de-bunked the BLEACH claim. Calcium hypochlorite is the main ingredient in the MMS2 product, not sodium hypochlorite. But I suspect you knew that already. lol Chlorine dioxide is the main ingredient in the MMS1 product, again, not BLEACH. I suggest you read some of the testimonials on his site. You might just be surprised.

Those poor, starving OWS kids. You just got to pity them. According to MOTUS this is how they are suffering.

Most of the produce, grass-fed meat and organic chicken is donated from small organic farms upstate, including Northland Sheep Dairy, West Haven Farm and Wide Awake Bakery in Ithaca, and several farms in Connecticut and Vermont.

When food is ready for the protesters, a driver collects crates from each of the cooperative farms and drives to New York City with a truckload of goodies.

Chef Eric holds a round of organic sheep cheese donated to feed the pillaging hoards, with these words of encouragement: “Fight the Greed!”

And then, unemployed chefs step up to the plate (a little culinary humor) to cook the chow in a soup kitchen in Brooklyn in order to have dinner ready to serve to the hungry hoard of occupiers promptly at 7:00 pm.

Maybe we all need to go to Wall street.

For an eye opening survey on what they actually know about why they are there go to http://www.michellesmirror.com.

    • 63 Paula October 20, 2011 at 6:22 am

No, way. Is this for real? I knew something stunk about this whole mess. They’re being catered to, and probably with our taxpayer dollars! Are they some of Obama’s bought and paid for community gangsters?

I would love, love, love to eat organic and grass-fed beef and all organic fruit and veggies, but I can’t afford it!

  15. 64 no-nonsense-nancy October 19, 2011 at 8:46 pm

    Starving OWS-ers continued.

    .
“We’re running a five-star restaurant down there,’’ crowed Eric Smith, 38, the ex-le Chef de Tournant at the Sheraton in Midtown, who works out of a soup kitchen in East New York, Brooklyn, churning out the meals for more than 1,000 protesters every day.

“The other day, we made some wonderful salmon cakes with dill sauce and some quinoa salad and a wonderful tomato salad with fennel and red onion,’’ he said.

“We use organic, grass-fed meats, and the other day, we made a wonderful fried rice and root vegetables and all kinds of soup.”

Wow! No wonder they won’t go home.

So last night, for example, while your family of four may have been forced to resort to Hamburger Helper, thanks to Smith’s culinary magic, hordes of Occupy Wall Street protesters instead feasted on organic chicken, spaghetti Bolognese, roasted beet and sheep’s milk-cheese salad and wild heirloom potatoes.

Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together?

You all heard that the president’s teley was stolen yesturday. Uppity woman posted some comments from Yahoo.

    From the yahoo comments:

“They took the words right out of his mouth!”
    ,
“They were not stolen, they were ‘redistributed’
    teleprompters!”
    ,
“He will definitely have a lot to say about this crime…. as soon as they find the teleprompters, that is…”,

“If thieves stole the teleprompters, isn’t that the same as kidnapping the president?” (my favorite!),

“They were just showing Obama what it felt like to be ripped off….”,
“Oh no. Now who is going to tell the country what George Soros wants us to hear?”
    ,
“Eric Holder sent them to Mexico”,

“Maybe now, he’ll be speechless and the stock market can recover”,

“Without his teleprompters, he’ll have to say something from his vast experi…. Oh dear God”, “Teleprompter stolen…. tour cancelled”,

“Someone stole the president’s brain? OMG!”,

“Guess he’ll have to go on vacation!”,
“Uh oh, time to go with Plan B.
That’s where Soros sticks his hand up Obama’s a$$ for the puppet show”,

“He must have been using the same security he uses at the border with Mexico”,

“I guess now he has to memorize the phrase, ‘It’s Bush’s fault’”,

“He’s spending taxpayer money to campaign on a phony jobs tour and he can’t even make a job for a security guard”.

RE: GOP debate – emphasis on issues

There is disagreement among pundits whether the GOP debate was useful or not. I am not a supporter of Romney, but the attack on hiring illegal workers was totally irrelevant. He explained it many times. There was not a word on O’s ineligibility (before I turned off the debate in disgust). If you google “Romney illegal aliens” you get twice as many links as if you search for “Obama eligibility”.

There we are. On one side a made-up minor error (he never hired them directly) gets twice as much attention, and major attention on national TV, than the constitutional fraud that every single one of the debaters are well aware of.

Kudlow did a special yesterday on his show, get this: From 2006 to now the total net worth that has been STOLEN from every American (includes homes, business, savings, salaries, etc., i.e. everything) has taken an 11.7 TRILLION dollar hit! America as a whole is 11.7 trillion dollars poorer, thanks to our government. The bastards have stolen almost 12 Trillion dollars of our wealth. My rant.

    • 81 juliezzz October 20, 2011 at 4:27 pm

      Ok wait a minute!!!!

Before you start worshiping the ground Dylan Ratigan walks on, here is the full video. Watch it before you buy what he is selling.

His solution??? President should bypass congress and legislate from the oval office He says Obama should emulate T. Roosevelt

Translation: We need a dictatorship unhindered by the pesky constitution and separation of powers

Teddy Roosevelt believed in big government and thought limited government was antiquated. He despised Thomas Jefferson and identified with Alexander Hamilton. Roosevelt made it a habit to order military type actions without permission from congress. He stated a desire to strengthen presidential powers and presidential independence in regards to foreign policy. (sound familiar?) Roosevelt was an imperialist. He said that it was America’s duty to bring the backward nations into the fold of democracy and Christianity by force if necessary.

Roosevelt said, “I have always believed that it would also be necessary to give the National Government complete power over the organization and capitalization of all business concerns engaged in inter-State commerce,”
He set up multiple departments to expand governmental power. He knew full well what he was doing. He regulated with permission of these businesses in order to eliminate competition. He admitted as much.
      Roosevelt believed firmly in eugenics.

It’s no wonder so many globalists praise Roosevelt.

And I missed this part: At about 3 minutes in he basically says that we shouldn’t be able to pull funding from candidates with whom we disagree which basically results in them being “fired”. That they should feel free to do things against popular opinion without fear of not being reelected.

basically he wants to take away the last power we have over these politicians

so it’s not only bypass the pesky separations of power, it’s bypass the pesky American public.

why are you so eager to attack each other on ‘hiring illegal aliens’ or ‘9-9-9’ tax plan etc, but so absolutely unwilling to ask your true opponent, obama, why he forges his birth certificate, and/or why he ‘resolves’ (in his Reslotuion 511) a natural born citizen (nbc) is one born to 2 US citizen parents yet swears under oath that he himself is a nbc in the 2007 ‘pesidential candidate nomination paper’ to Arizona, knowing that he is born to 1 Brtish citizen father?

  29. 98 SueK October 20, 2011 at 7:50 am

    Hi Tenacity, Ann, and Dabig,

There are many sites you can check regarding the ingredients of the H1N1 vaccine however, this one seems to be pretty concise.

    http://www.docstoc.com/docs/13516797/H1N1-Vaccine-Ingredients

As I mentioned above, the time from vaccine development to market was months, not years; what will happen to people who took the vaccine in, oh, let’s say, 20 years? Unknown.

While I’m not down on all vaccines (some are tried and true, such as the Pneumonia vaccine), this one caught my attention.

Before taking any drug or vaccine, it’s prudent to check out all the info on it, as well as adverse reactions and side effects before proceeding; it’s *your* body! If the gub’mint tells you something’s good for you, will you blindly believe them? Especially this administration?

    You decide!

    • 99 dabigragu October 20, 2011 at 2:06 pm

SueK, we’ll be more apt to make a more well informed decision, thanks for your input and the link. 🙂

      • 100 Tenacity October 21, 2011 at 8:46 am

Yes SueK, I appreciate the information you bring. I for one start under the belief that Pat Shannan is substantially correct when he says, “Everything They* Ever Told Me was a Lie.” All you have to do is realize that the globalist elite banksters have taken control of most pharmaceutical companies, food processing companies, the FDA (all regulatory agencies), seed companies, most if not all information sources and all governing/investigative institutions.

    • 101 PharmD October 21, 2011 at 11:34 am

I was curious, so I looked at the document linked here. Again, feel free to take my opinion as such, but a lot of what is contained within the document is either false or misleading. I will point out that this document definitely has an intended purpose, and it is not just to educate. It is incredibly biased in order to scare you away from vaccines.

I am not disputing every fact in this document, but I do find fault with some of what they say.

Here is a list of what struck me from the first read:

Potassium Phosphate: the document presents some true facts regarding potassium phosphate but presents them in a very unflattering light. Both potassium and phosphate are necessary ions for the body. Potassium is necessary for many things including cardiac function. Phosphate is used in energy, bone formation, and many other functions within the body. The fact that it is used as a fertilizer should be no surprise. Plants, much like people, need to take in vital nutrients as well to survive. The use as a fungicide is listed again, to scare people. The toxic levels of potassium or phosphate in a fungus are not the same as the toxic levels in a person. And I reiterate, without potassium or phosphate, a person will die. They are required for life.

Squalene: I’m not really seeing how this is as bad as they’re making it out to be. Your body is undoubtedly producing squalene right now. It’s used in the body’s production of cholesterol and many hormones in the body.

The mention of Tween 80 is a bit suspect as well. I did a little reading myself on it (it’s a common ingredient in topical drugs) and saw that it was shown not to produce an antigenic response contrary to a previous report that it could. Regardless, that would be by IV administration, and in the case of most anything, the route by which you deliver something matters as much as the thing being delivered. Vaccines are not given intravenously. To do so would be foolish.

There are, however, many things within that document that are entirely true. The vaccines ARE made from eggs, and if you’re allergic to eggs, you should not take it. Many vaccines do contain thimerosol, which does contain mercury. I will not try to dispute everything in that document.

I only mention it because the way you present information can drastically change how you interpret it. There is a reason they say that there are three kinds of lies: lies, d@mned lies, and statistics.

I encourage people to seek out knowledge. Read up on things. Just be aware that what you read may carry a bias, either pro or con.

      • 102 SueK October 21, 2011 at 1:56 pm

        PharmD,

We both come from different sectors of the health care/Pharma,Biotech field.

FYI, Squalene is an adjutant; it accelerates the effects of whichever drug is administered. Now, we know one variety of Squalene as shark liver oil; taken by mouth it’s beneficial to the body however, when injected it produces a toxic reaction that may result in death. It’s not the substance; it’s the manner in which it’s administered.

The U.S. has banned Squalene; it is regularly used in Europe as an adjutant and if you research the stats regarding mortality/disability caused by it in injectable drugs you’ll understand the reason why it’s banned in the U.S. This fact, however, seems to not have stopped Big Pharma from adding it to vaccines to get ‘more bang for the buck.’ Of course, it’s all about the Almighty Buck.

Please take a look at this link regarding Tween (Polysorbate) 80:

        http://organichealthadviser.com/archives/polysorbate-80-in-swine-flu-vaccines-infertility-in-humans

I’ve used this site in the past and find them to be trustworthy.

If anyone chooses to get the seasonal flu shot knowing that the H1N1 vaccine is again a component of it, I say God bless and good luck; just be informed about what exactly is in that shot. You chose to get it and that’s fine however, i will not walk away from the seasonal shot this year; I’ll run.

I am disappointed in Hillary for this kind of ridiculous ploy to put down a candidate.

        RE: “sold herself to O”

I think she accepted the SS job more for her own interest than the desire to serve O. The job keeps her constantly in the news and a stepping stone for the Dems nomination 5 years from now, or now, if O gets disqualified.

The Clintons are very ambitious politicians. Consider for example: would not a self-respecting wife file for divorce in case of such well publicized scandal that Bill caused? The political ambition governs her over private life, pride or self-respect.

        • 107 drkate October 20, 2011 at 7:15 pm

Everything she said in her campaign was negated by her accepting the SOS position. She’s for America? Hardly. No she sold herself. RE: “she will not be able to run again”

There are rather large groups of Clinton supporters even now. I could never understand what they admire about her – but they do. Many Dems think she is a shoe-in if O bows out. Some even think that she should be nominated instead of O, to save the party. They don’t think of her as “kept woman”.

      1. What is their % of the population?
      2. Also, if Cain is nominated, their vote will not split much – they vote Dem largely every time.
      3. If Cain is nominated the media will destroy him, black or not.

So in the final analysis Cain’s race is not an advantage for the GOP.

        • 111 Tenacity October 21, 2011 at 9:09 am

Bill, you don’t need to look any further on the 16th. The Montana Historians, Red Beckman and Bill Benson proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that both the 16th & 17th Amendments were fraudulently ratified. They went to all 48 relevant States and obtained the certified documents. Those official certified documents and analysis of each State have been published by Red Beckman in his book “The Law That Never Was”. If anyone would like a copy of Red’s book, let Dr. Kate know and we will provide the address and amount to send.

Allow me to add that the SCOTUS has stated in an official opinion that the 16th conveyed no new taxing power. However, it was used (deceptively) to negate the 1895 SCOTUS decision nullifying the 1894 Income Tax Act as unconstitutional. Read my article at http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/35827

    Hi Bill,

Yup, I agree that it’s not the dedicated docs or nurses; it’s the CDC and multiple Fed agencies that get involved and dictate to the medical profession what they can and cannot do. Overregulated, for sure.

This is why there is a shortage of trained medical professionals (especially general pracitioners) coming up: They’re regulated to death and aren’t allowed to practice medicine in the manner they know is proper.

    Gotta love the gub’mint! 😦

This is precisely what they are trying to do today. However, Dr. Paul’s support is much stronger today both qualitatively and quantitatively. People are so much more aware of the fraud of the media and Dr. Paul knew what he was facing. This is an endurance contest and we must all remain steadfast.

Someone was incredibly busy in June 2008 working on an illegal front invisible to the public; searching and altering Supreme Court Cases published at Justia.com which cite the only case in American history – Minor v. Happersett (1875) – to directly construe Article 2 Section 1’s natural-born citizen clause in determining a citizenship issue as part of its holding and precedent. In this unanimous decision, the Supreme Court defined a “native or natural-born citizen” as a person born in the US to parents who were citizens; a definition which excludes from eligibility both Barack Obama and John McCain.

This is big….It uncovers and proves a that coordinated conspiracy took place, well before Barry even won / stole the Dem nomination, to hide proof of his ineligibility….Some people could go to jail for this if it is pursued….A crime was definitely committed.

        • 131 Troy October 20, 2011 at 8:08 pm

It’s more and new instances of document scrubbing by Justia….More than 25 different instances have recently been found and date back before the election….A few months ago, Leo originally discovered it and thought it was just an isolated incident….It turned out to be much more and rampant and obviously an effort to hide the precedent set in Minor – v – Happerset which proves Obama ineligible….There was an actual conspiracy that occurred.

I hope you were kidding. lol You can’t base parenthood on looks. A LOT of people look alike that aren’t related. I look NOTHING like either one of my parents but I’m their child and have a BC to prove it. People are always telling me I look like my sister-in-law and we’re not blood related obviously. But I agree he does look a good bit like Malcolm X. I think BHO’s ears are bigger though.

        • 138 Troy October 21, 2011 at 7:29 am

No, I’m not kidding one bit!…LOL….You most certainly can base parenthood on looks….Not in all cases, but more times than not you can…..You may not look anything like either one of your parents, but I look VERY SIMILAR to my father and so do both of my brothers….In fact, all of the men in my family look strikingly similar going back several generations…..There is even an uncanny resemblance between cousin Bill “The Unrepentant Terrorist” Ayers and my grandfather – practically twins…..While similar looks being passed down genetically is not always the case, more times than not it is the case…..I know WAY MORE people that resemble one of their parents than I know people who do not.

It’s not just the men in my family either….Photos of my mother and my sister at the same age in their lives are also spitting images of each other. – twins!

When I consider all of this and take into account the intentional lies to cover up Obama’s real identity and also take into account the factual connections that have been made about Stanley Ann Dunham’s whereabouts including the photo of her with Mr. X, I have no problem making an X connection to Barry…..Several researchers have also established other important dots that connect X and Stanley Ann.

So, when I see a photo of Barry next to Obama Sr. and then I see another photo Barry next to X, I have to go with the X factor out of sheer logic and probability….Would you not agree that Barry is DEFINITELY hiding something about his past and / or true identity?…..Also, would you not agree that if it would’ve been leaked out before the election that Barry was the son of X that Barry’s chance of getting elected would’ve been zilch?

LOL Don’t take it from me….Take it from his own supporters and his Nation of Islam buddies…..Don’t you know that they are VERY proud of it.

Have a look for yuourself and then have a look at Barry and his Obama daddy lie, Obama Sr., side by side.

Like the old saying goes: “Don’t believe your lying eyes” (sarc)

Coincidence? Not by a long shot!

          • 139 juliezzz October 21, 2011 at 8:09 am

While I do find this compelling I think there is alternate photo proof that obama got his genetics just where he says he got it

This is Obama’s 1/2 brother George who I think looks a heck of a lot like obama and when you mix that with his Grandfather on his mothers side you can see where he got his features.

          • 142 drkate October 21, 2011 at 9:05 am

This does not matter to me one bit. Obama is a lie, whoever he is. He hung his hat on BHO Sr and that’s where it stays. He can’t now pull out the I am a nbc because my daddy is X. BS and it won’t fly. This is pure speculation and distraction, exactly what he wants.

RE “….Also, would you not agree that if it would’ve been leaked out before the election that Barry was the son of X that Barry’s chance of getting elected would’ve been zilch? ”

I often agree with you but not this time. However, you are right that there is resemblance. Please consider this:

If X is the father, O is nbc. So he cannot be disqualified. So claiming X as father would help not hinder.

The voters who voted for him could not care less who the father is as long as he looks minority. In fact the criticism that his ancestors were not from the South would be mute. So that would help him as well.

One cannot be sure that this rumor is not a defense ploy by his inner circle of supporters to deflect the non-nbc status.

Only DNA would tell the truth. Not possible to get it. So this will remain speculation forever. So DrKate is right: Why spend energy on it?

            • 145 drkate October 21, 2011 at 12:22 pm

“If X is the father, O is nbc. So he cannot be disqualified. So claiming X as father would help not hinder.”

He still may have been born in Kenya. He is signing bills, Barack Hussein Obama. Is that his legal name? In order to have a name change, and have it legal, you must do that through the legal process.

              • 147 Voco Indubium October 21, 2011 at 4:28 pm

                RE: Name change

We don’t know if the name he uses is legal or not. It may be Soetoro. But if the eligibility were looked by SCOTUS, the illegal name, if illegal, would not change the decision. In some states the name change is almost automatic, if a new name is used for so many years. If X is the father and born in HI he would be declared nbc by SCOTUS.

            • 148 Troy October 21, 2011 at 4:38 pm

If X was his father it would not help him one bit…In fact, it would destroy him permanently because it would mean that his entire life is and was based on intentional fraud and lies….It would mean that his sElection in 2008 was based on fraud and therefore would have to be negated….He would still be usurping the office via voter fraud….X making Barry an NBC would not save him from the monstrous fraud committed.

              • 149 Voco Indubium October 21, 2011 at 5:58 pm

                Attn.: Troy

We just have to agree that we have different opinions on this.

O could claim he did not know. His mother never told him. He found out later accidently. (After he wrote the book.) People would even sympathize with him and blame the unconventional mother. Stranger things are happening every day in real life. In fact that scenario can be presented totally credible, especially with the help of media. Our good journalists would paint O as an inocent victim.

I know that Drkate thinks that such story would never fly, but O could try it as last resort, in desperation, if the case ever reached decision by SCOTUS. Andy Martin has done a lot of research on this a couple of years ago. He said, at that time, that his legal opinion was that if O was born in HI and X is the father, O is nbc. By the way, Andy was 100% convinced that X is the father. (I am not convinced, but not impossible.)

At any rate the DNA is impossible to get, so this will remain a speculation forever.

          • 150 Quantum Leap October 21, 2011 at 1:03 pm

        RE: O’s facial resemblance

The resemblance is undeniable. However, I promised drKate that I will not waste more words on this. So only this much: DNA would be the only proof. Impossible to get. So this will remain a speculation forever.

Warning! Progressives’ NPV Plan for White House Control, 2012 & Permanently
    October 21, 2011, 8:40 am

    By Jacquerie
    Wake Up America

    National Popular Vote manifesto, 2004

While the lamestream media holds public attention on GOP candidate rivalries, a “progressive” strategy is underway to eliminate the role of the states in electing a U.S. President. By transferring electoral votes to a “national popular vote” this “Compact” would usurp the role of the states as safeguarded by our Constitution. In doing so, it could also neutralize Obama’s critics — totally.

I often wonder who lamecherry actually is–undercover for someone–writing a blog to keep us informed? Don’t know..

I will say he/she is right on and of course this is how it happened. Watch the videos that came out yesterday and they show Khadaffi begging for his life–what it doesn’t show is him being pulled from the drainage pipe.

Of course barrys prints are all over this and OBL, and what ever happened to Egypts ruler–Mubarak? What about Syrians ruler? No mention of these. However barry did warn them yesterday that they would be next on his HIT list.

Where does barry get the authority to murder in the name of our military?

What happened to a trial–at lest GWB allowed the Iraqis to hold a trial for Hussein and company, guilty or not they got a trial.

Democracy denied catalogues the loss of freedom in a way that is both profound and important.

But, read another way, it is a “to do” list for any incoming Republican president and Senator. His rendition of all of the liberties we have lost is also a laundry list of things to repeal, modify, discard, and circumvent. His book is at once a diagnosis and a prescription for a lack of liberty that is infecting America.

In the belief that government regulation is blocking job creation, House GOP leaders aim not only to repeal specific regulations, but also to reform the rule-making system. Their key reform bill is the Regulations from the Executive In Need of Scrutiny Act, or REINS Act. It comes at a crucial time.

They will have to pass it before we can read it and find that it doesn’t go far enough, whatever it is. Want to bet its another band aid on the cancer and even that won’t get signed into law. Even the so-called good bills, if enacted, are smokescreens that will keep real reform from ever happening. Let me get directly to the point, we are not fighting the liberals, we are not fighting the RINOs, we are fighting the private banking cartel that all the liberals, RINOs, media and judges work for. They are not working for the People, but the People are employing them. We must stop paying them and start prosecuting them. After about half of them are behind bars, then the other half might start fearing the People more than the bankster’s goons and money.

  53. 184 Quantum Leap October 21, 2011 at 2:34 pm

Guess who is behind the ows nazi protestors.

TRUMKA!!!!!!!! OBAMA’S CLOSE BUDDY WHO FREQUENTS THE WHITEHOUSE AND GOT BILLIONS IN laundered money from obama’s various TARPs andBAIL OUT MONEY

It also suggests an evolution for organized labor, which retains close ties to President Obama and the Democratic Party but now sees the Occupy protests as a galvanizing moment. “Our members have been trying to have this discussion about Wall Street and the economy for a long time,” AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka said in an interview. “This movement is providing us the vehicle.”

“We’re hoping this will inspire them to take on more militant tactics,” said Jackie DiSalvo, an Occupy Wall Street organizer who has been coordinating with labor unions for desks and fax machines and offices. “The fact that unions are willing to support more militant tactics might mean that they’re willing to start doing more.”

Two weeks ago, Trumka was charming Occupy activists with a personal visit and a delivery of hundreds of fresh bagels. But this week, he sat down for a private meeting with the ultimate insider — Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

Trumka aides declined to say whether he raised the topic of the protests.

So that’s who’s paying the protestors on behalf of “obama for America” (sic)
with our tax dollars from bail out funds. His robots know the “jobs bill” is not a jobs bills but another bail-out for his campaign and money laundering funds into obammy’s numerous accounts.
He is now richer than Oprah. The protestors who want to eat the rich need to start on the main course called ‘Cooked Obama.’

  54. 185 Quantum Leap October 21, 2011 at 2:57 pm

Remember when congress asked Bernake where did the Billions of bail-out money go to and he said “I can’t say”??????????
We know where it went. Half went to obammy via his money laundering of “green jobs” (I’ll give you 3 billion and you give me 2 billion back and direct deposit it into my offshore –>obummer does it this way……, and half went to UK bailout. sorry about my grammer…it’s Friday and I’m wiped out.

    • 186 heather October 21, 2011 at 3:24 pm

Well we all knew that the bail out money went into the pockets of the unions an barrys pockets–and alot went to PAY OFF his cronies for getting him in the WH.

So these debts he incurred on our behalf is all black mail, bribery, and extortion. What do we get? to pay it back!

This amount of money can never be paid back–its impossible–its a running tab against the people.

It’s obvious many of us don’t want an untested vaccine…I’ve read horror stories of the hidden components in this vaccine…I’ll believe the authors of those articles, studies, and findings waaaay before an alleged ‘pharmacist’ on a blog. Incidentally, what key words do you use to find flu topics on blogs???
Quite strange you appear and start preaching the glories of a vaccine.

      • 212 PharmD October 22, 2011 at 11:50 am

I only try to present the other side of the argument. Often, information that is gathered online is biased. This is not only true of information regarding medicine but of most topics. Consider Obama. There are many sites that cover him. Why do you read this one? Dr Kate covers him in the aspect you wish to read. (I’m not knocking you, Dr Kate, just stating a fact.)

When I use the term bias, I don’t necessarily mean that it is bad, just that it is written from a particular viewpoint. This viewpoint may be for or against the topic at hand.

I don’t often reply because I generally leave the politics to other people. I read and follow the events and enjoy what is presented by Dr. Kate and the rest of the people here. I’d reply more, but honestly, I’m so busy with everything else that I hardly have the energy to fight with the passion you all do. I’m involved in my own battles every day, and I mentioned in an earlier post, I’m fighting a war I cannot win.

So every now and again, I pop in to comment and provide the other side of an argument when I feel my area of expertise would be appropriate for it. I totally understand that many people feel strongly about vaccinations. I believe it is your right to do as you see fit with your own body. If you read my comments, you will see that I have never told anyone that they must get a vaccine. I only recommend it as something that I would (and did) do myself. I also try to point out where bias exists in some of the literature linked here.

And I’ll also point out that I fully understand that opinions on medicine vary even among the medical fields. My wife and I have such differing opinions on medication that it’s almost laughable.

So there you have it. I only present my opinions as someone that has your best interest at heart. Take my advice. Do not take my advice. Take the advice of another. Do what you will. At least if you read my comments, you’ll be exposed to another side of the story. That’s all I ever hope to do.

        • 213 drkate October 22, 2011 at 12:07 pm

What I like is that everyone brings their expertise here. And to have two sides of any story or issue is greatly appreciated. We all do what we will with the information presented. 🙂

And, that said, I have never had a flu shot and won’t; I may get the pneumonia shot but need more information.

          • 214 heather October 22, 2011 at 1:38 pm

The pneumonia shot is ok to get Dr Kate, but your insurance does not cover it and the cost is $150.00. I had pneumonia a couple of yrs ago and wished that I had gotten that shot but didn’t.

I never get a flu shot btw.

            • 215 drkate October 22, 2011 at 2:17 pm

do you get any symptoms? I understand its a once every three or four years shot…is that true? Even tho my Mom had the shot, she eventually died of pneumonia…possibly due to other complications…

              • 216 PharmD October 22, 2011 at 4:54 pm

I just wanted to clear up a couple things if I may.

Pneumonia is sort of a general term for any lung infection caused by bacteria or viruses. As such, there are many causative agents. The pneumonia shot is more technically called the pneumococcal vaccine. It will give you more resistance to 13 types of bacteria that are known to cause pneumonia, but it also will help prevent those same bacteria from preventing many other conditions such as ear infections, sinus infections, and meningitis. Basically, it will help prevent Streptococcus pneumoniae from being able to take root anywhere in your body.

As for how your mother could have died from pneumonia, there are still many other bacteria that can cause pneumonia other than Streptococcus pneumoniae. And in fact, most of the other things that cause pneumonias end up being much nastier than Strep pmeumoniae. I got the joy of watching a guy go downhill over about a two day period because he was unfortunate enough to get legionnaire’s pneumonia. We literally threw everything but the kitchen sink at him before doing the EEG “to check for seizures.”

Word of advice. If a person is really sick, and they’re doing a neuro consult to check and see if a patient is having seizures while comatose, they’re not REALLY checking for seizures. They’re checking to see if they’re brain dead.

Anyways, EEG showed no activity so they kept him on the vents long enough for his family to say goodbye and withdrew all but palliative care. He was finished before the night. (incidentally, I never really understood the need for the morphine drip if there was no brain activity. but that’s just me…. I guess it’s as much to make the family feel better as the patient, but if the brain’s gone….. yeah…..)

As for how often to get it, I’d heard the same thing. Every few years, but I’m looking it up right now. Every place I’m seeing says once after 65 is plenty. A booster shot is only needed if it’s been more than 5 years since your last shot and you just turned 65, the reason being that the strains covered in the vaccine are pretty much only carried by older people.

That’s the thing about bacteria. You’ve got more bacteria in your body right now than you have human cells. This undoubtedly includes bacteria that cause diseases, but because they’re just happily sitting there not causing a problem, you’re ok. I shudder to think what’s been added to my natural flora due to my work in hospitals. And like everything else, they just sit there being good and not causing any problems. What becomes a problem is when something happens that shifts the balance in their favor. Maybe you get sick. Maybe you took a round of antibiotics for an infection. Any number of things can shift the balance, and when they take over, you’re pretty much screwed.

If you’re not over 65, there’s probably no reason to get a shot. If you ARE over 65 and you’ve not had one, get one. If you had one as a kid, get another. New strains have been added since then. Otherwise, only get it if you feel like it. There’s no real need yet. Truth be told, if I weren’t a medical professional, I wouldn’t have gotten it at this age because I wouldn’t really be at risk.

While I AM pro-vaccine, I’m only for vaccines that we absolutely need to keep diseases eradicated (smallpox, polio, etc) or diseases you’re likely to catch like the flu.

            • 217 Jan October 22, 2011 at 2:20 pm

Some insurance plans cover the Pneumonia shot. I know several, including one of my brothers that get it.

    Buddy Roemer

The GOP race to the nomination for president at times has been led by Mitt Romney, Herman Cain, Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann, and some polling predicts that Barack Obama may have a difficult time squaring off against any of them.

But former Louisiana Gov. Buddy Roemer is a declared candidate for the GOP nomination and has yet to be invited to a Republican debate.

    He wants to know why.

“I keep asking why I can’t get on stage, and the rules seem to change daily,” Roemer told WND in an interview. “First I had to reach 1 percent in polling, and when I reached that, they changed the rule to 2 percent, now they talk about needing 500,000 donations.

Obama can be defeated in 2012 … and here’s the battle plan based on political statistical realities

“They’re looking for the wrong things. They put a premium on money, but that’s not the important thing.

“They want to see flash and cash. They don’t understand that cash is the problem.”

Roemer, 68, served four terms as a Democratic congressman during the Reagan years but touts a voting record that sided mostly with the Republicans.

And the reason they won’t give RP any more than tid bits
They have already decided who will be president in 2012 and it will be a New World Order kinda guy. They won’t dare run Cain because then obat would have no reason to use the race card.

“I met Osama in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), and ever since, I developed a close relationship with him.”

Who said this? Bin Laden’s second in command? No, it’s New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s new business partner.

His name is Jamal A. Khashoggi, and he’s heading the recently announced joint media venture between Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal and Bloomberg News.

The controversial partnership raises new concerns about infiltration of the U.S. media by Islamists bent on institutionalizing Shariah finance and other Islamic laws in the West.

In a recent Arab press interview, Khashoggi revealed he grew up in Saudi Arabia with the late al-Qaida leader inside the radical Muslim Brotherhood, a secretive movement whose credo is “Jihad is our way; Death in the cause of Allah our highest ambition.”

This is from the 18th, but wow, Russell Means is fantastic. He covers government regulations, cancer, GMOs, two party system, and his words of wisdom are fantastic. The phone conversation got a little frazzled about the time he was talking about Ron Paul, so hang in with him.
On the Tuesday, October 18 edition of Infowars Nightly News, Aaron Dykes sits in for Alex Jones while he is on assignment.
Oglala Sioux activist and libertarian Russell Means talks with Aaron about how he is on the road to cancer recovery without the poisonous intervention of big pharma and the corporate medical complex. Means also talks about how a Ron Paul victory in 2012 will be good for America.
