A very relevant read…the poverty of the OWS ‘demonstrators’

These young people also suffer from a vast intellectual and moral poverty. One of the things that shines through when we interview the people taking to the streets is that so many are woefully ignorant, and that they wallow in a sea of relativism that allows for no morality other than that gained by intense navel gazing. They are the antithesis of the original American revolutionaries, whose leaders were men of exceptional erudition and thoughtfulness…

That is a very good article, Kate. I read an article in CFP yesturday, can’t remember who wrote it, but the point made was that either the OWS movement or the Tea Party movement will prevail but only one of them can prevail. I don’t know if that is true but we need to make sure that it is the Tea Party or Patriot movement that does.

No wonder they don’t want to pay back their education loans. They didn’t get an education– only “social juztice” brainwashing. (Prof. Wm Ayres-designed curriculum.)

Just curious, if the FEDs tax small business out of existence, who will pay the bills?

  5. 11 bill October 22, 2011 at 2:18 am

I only have one questions ?! Since the consensus of opinion is that the MSMs operate on distortion, obfuscation and lack of objective reporting, why on earth do
American citizens continue to pay for it ?

    • 12 no-nonsense-nancy October 22, 2011 at 6:28 am

Bill, I don’t, haven’t for over 2 years. And I know some others who don’t.

Good on you NNN,Me neither ! If enough citizens were concerned and stage a

        • 14 Tenacity October 22, 2011 at 10:54 am

Bill, the answer to your question is that the people are addicted to believing lies. Additionally, the concept of ‘panem et circenses’ is true: If people are well fed and entertained, they will pay little attention to matters of state. This is why the subverters have acquired and expanded all of the following industries: movie production, agriculture, news media, tv & cable networks, professional sports, pharmaceuticals, food processing, communication satellites, print media and medical research.

Tenacity,I am sure you are right ! My only hope with whatever I post is simply
to try and get people to think, something ,I confess,I had not done for years before
things got so outrageous.Shutting down the MSMs money is the best and ONLY peaceful solution I can see that would cause these charlatans to correct their
hen house ways.Of course I realize some folks just can’t live without “Dancing with the Stars” so to them, all I can say is “Good Luck” cheers

We now have a dirty, dirty government sponsoring international murder and any number of totally illegal acts such as the guns to Mexico deal, all the while presenting total lies to the public. It doesn’t get any worse than what the Democratics and bho have brought about.
Unfortunately, their efforts have been assisted by those of otther political groups and ideologies and the public either didn’t pay enough attention to what was transpiring or just didn’t care ( or were too damn dumb to see).
Now, however, it’s clear where we stand and the rational people are becoming active—we will prevail and the country will be better for having experienced this fiasco.

  7. 18 no-nonsense-nancy October 22, 2011 at 7:40 am

That is an excellent video on Ron Paul. We CAN have him. We just have to work very, very hard to get him!! All of the patriot groups need to stick together and work to get him nominated and then elected. So, let’s go to it gang!! He should be our “Tea Party Candidate”.

  8. 19 Tenacity October 22, 2011 at 10:58 am

Kate, I commend this thread. I have repeatedly stated that if God isn’t with us, we are beating our head against an immovable wall. I honest believe that there is only one candidate running whose election I would consider a blessing from God. If for no other reason, my vote must be for Dr. Ron Paul and no other.

    • 20 heather October 22, 2011 at 2:02 pm

Ten–you are so right and he is a blessing from God to us and our country. He has a massive following and more are coming. Just think 2012 is a yr away and look at his following. This election could be a slam dunk for RP and America!

We must keep plugging along and telling them that we will no longer stand idley by and allow them to dictate to us. Not this time!

      • 21 Durus October 22, 2011 at 5:09 pm

One thing I noticed in Sarah Palin’s statement about not running was that she kind of implied that there was a good candidate running that she could be satisfied with. She didn’t hint about whom that candidate was though.

    The birthers eat their own

By Dana Milbank, Published: October 21

Say what you will about the birthers, but don’t call them partisan.

The people who brought you the Barack Obama birth-certificate hullabaloo now have a new target: Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, a man often speculated to be the next Republican vice presidential nominee. While they’re at it, they also have Bobby Jindal, the Republican governor of Louisiana and perhaps a future presidential candidate, in their sights.

    Read more:

In the comments, I noticed perhaps one defender of the Constitution was trying to give them the truth… but they can’t handle the truth… so she was throwing pearls before swine, who was just trampling pearls underfoot, just like they do the Constitution.

    • 27 DABIGRAGU October 22, 2011 at 4:49 pm

Silly Dana doesn’t realize ‘birthers’ don’t tend to play any particular ‘party’

      • 28 Durus October 22, 2011 at 6:57 pm

Real patriots who may resist the intrigues of the favorite are liable to become suspected and odious, while its tools and dupes usurp the applause and confidence of the people, to surrender their interests. — George Washington, Farewell Address, 1796 – David Claypoole American Daily Advertiser, September 19, 1796.

    • 29 heather October 22, 2011 at 7:31 pm

Saw Jindal on Hannity last night and he flatly refused to take the VP slot–said he has work to do as the governor. Basically the same thing Rubio has said when he is asked. Work to do. They both know they are ineligible.

    • 30 Troy October 22, 2011 at 10:43 pm

Here is my comment left for Dana Milbank at the above link:

Hey, Dana! You MSM people still don’t get it, do you? The “Birthers” are those that believe Barack Obama was not born in the United States and they are the ones who would like to see an authentic birth certificate from him.

It’s the constitutionalists that know beyond all doubt that Obama is ineligible to hold office due to not meeting the “natural born Citizen” requirement within Article II, Section I, Clause V of the United States Constitution.

A “natural born Citizen”, as per our constitution, is defined as a person born within the U.S. and having TWO United States citizen parents. Not one U.S. citizen parent, which would make one “native born”, but two U.S. citizen parentS. The “natural born Citizen” clause was added to our constitution upon the advice and recommendation of one of our constitution’s founders, John Jay. It was put there as a national security safeguard to protect us against anyone with divided loyalties or allegiances obtaining office of the president and commander in chief of our military. Unfortunately this safeguard was ignored in 2008 and now we find ourselves in the exact predicament that the “natural born Citizen” clause was installed to protect us from – a president / usurper who does not have our nation’s best interests at heart.

The parents of neither Marco Rubio nor Bobby Jindal were U.S. citizens at the time when those two gentlemen were born and therefore neither of those two men can ever be eligible to hold the office of president or vice president.

Our constitution is supposed to be the supreme law of our land and not a menu that one can pick and choose from only the things that one likes or agrees with. If the constitution is to be changed for any reason there is a method to do so. It’s called a “constitutional amendment” and there is a process for that. It is not to be ignored or changed by fiat.

So, Dana, there you have it. It’s not the “birthers” speaking out against any future presidential or vice presidential aspirations of Mr. Jindal or Mr. Rubio. It’s us pesky constitutionalists.

Oh, and by the way, you need not take my word for the definition of “natural born Citizen”. Instead, you can take the word of the United States Supreme Court, via Minor – vs – Happerset. That is the Supreme Court Case in which a LEGAL BINDING PRECEDENT was set and established that defined “natural born Citizen”, as written and used within our constitution, to mean – any person born within the U.S. to two U.S. citizen parents.

Dana, are you aware of the ongoing conspiracy over at Justia.com to scrub and remove any references to the Supreme Court Case of Minor – vs – Happerset? It seems that someone over there doesn’t want the general public to find out that there is actually a legal binding precedent that declares Barack Obama to be ineligible to hold the office of President. Lawsuits are being filed. Now, there’s a story for you. Check it out! WOW! http://www.examiner.com/civil-rights-in-portland/justiagate

I realize this is not in the spirit of ‘Higher Ground’ however the fact it has been brought to light and she has been arrested surely is:

“A high-ranking CDC official, who played a significant role in the 2009 H1N1 propaganda campaign, has been arrested and charged with two counts of child molestation and one count of bestiality”

If you read the article further down you’ll also note another expose’:

CDC Doctor who “Debunked” Vaccine-Autism Link Indicted on Fraud

“Another shocking case involving the CDC is that of Dr. Poul Thorsen, who, after being found to have falsified documents, was indicted on fraud, money laundering and tax evasion after stealing somewhere between $1-2 million in research grant money from the CDC.

Here you might wonder why I’m faulting the CDC, as the organization was the victim of fraud. The reason I fault them is because they hired Dr. Thorsen to debunk the link between thimerosal in vaccines and autism—which he did to their satisfaction. However, CDC officials may have played a significant role in “guiding” this research to their desired end, and now that Thorsen has been exposed as a fraud, the agency still upholds his research as being of high caliber.”

    Reagan Saw This Coming
    By Pamela Geller

Ronald Reagan saw this coming, and Barack Obama is making his prediction come true.

Moammar Gaddafi got what was coming to him. Of course, the concern now is the jihadist and al-Qaeda elements that are positioned to replace him. Years ago, Ronald Reagan called Gaddafi the “mad dog of the Middle East” and said that his goal was a worldwide “Muslim fundamentalist revolution.”

Many others besides Gaddafi shared that goal, including those who opposed him, and with Gaddafi’s death, that goal is closer than ever to being realized. Here we are, thirty years after Reagan made these remarks, in the throes of a worldwide Muslim fundamentalist revolution.

      Bears repeating…

Real patriots who may resist the intrigues of the favorite are liable to become suspected and odious, while its tools and dupes usurp the applause and confidence of the people, to surrender their interests. — George Washington, Farewell Address, 1796 – David Claypoole American Daily Advertiser, September 19, 1796.

      • 48 Durus October 22, 2011 at 7:11 pm

Right here is Ron Paul’s foreign policy…

As avenues to foreign influence in innumerable ways, such attachments are particularly alarming to the truly enlightened and independent patriot. How many opportunities do they afford to tamper with domestic factions, to practice the arts of seduction, to mislead public opinion, to influence or awe the public councils. Such an attachment of a small or weak towards a great and powerful nation dooms the former to be the satellite of the latter.

Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence (I conjure you to believe me, fellow-citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake, since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of republican government. But that jealousy to be useful must be impartial; else it becomes the instrument of the very influence to be avoided, instead of a defense against it. Excessive partiality for one foreign nation and excessive dislike of another cause those whom they actuate to see danger only on one side, and serve to veil and even second the arts of influence on the other.

This happened in Delaware, sent by a friend.

“My 14 yr old public high schooler was given a pamphlet from “Occupy Wall Street” yesterday with an assignment to do for the rest of the week in World Geography class. They are to break into small groups and compile a list of grievances. They are to then use the school’s video equipment to make a video of the list and send it to Occupy Wall Street. The pamphlet has a ballet dancer on top of the Wall Street Bull statue. It has the Occupy Wall Street “hand signals” to be used to voice your opinion. It also has the address to send your info to: The UPS Store, Re: Occupy Wall Street, 118A Fulton Ste #205 NY, NY 10038.
It says they are low on food.

I am so mad, I could spit! I sent an email to this teacher thru the school’s website (to hopefully create a paper trail). I made my own permission note, denying permission for my kid to participate in this assignment/protest and denying my permission for my kid’s name or image to be used in this assignment/protest. I did this yesterday. This morning I got a reply basically just saying OK your kid will not participate. I am worried for my kid today. I will wait and see how today plays out at school before taking more action.

Ask your kids if they have been introduced to this protest at school. My kid knew I would be mad and said that she would not be filmed during class when the assignment was given. She was given the camera man job.”

    Obama and Hillary’s NEW LIBYA

The transitional government leader Mustafa Abdul-Jalil set out a vision for the post-Gadhafi future with an Islamist tint, saying that Islamic Sharia law would be the “basic source” of legislation in the country and that existing laws that contradict the teachings of Islam would be nullified. In a gesture that showed his own piety, he urged Libyans not to express their joy by firing in the air, but rather to chant “Allahu Akbar,” or God is Great. He then stepped aside and knelt to offer a brief prayer of thanks.

“This revolution was looked after by God to achieve victory,” he told the crowd at the declaration ceremony in the eastern city of Benghazi, the birthplace of the uprising against Gadhafi began. He thanked those who fell in the fight against Gadhafi’s forces. “This revolution began peacefully to demand the minimum of legitimate rights, but it was met by excessive violence.”

Abdul-Jalil said new banks would be set up to follow the Islamic banking system, which bans charging interest. For the time being, he said interest would be canceled from any personal loans already.

I think the whole world is going to implode soon. This can’t go on much longer. Are we just going to destroy each other totally until there are absolutely none of us left? I don’t know anymore, hat can be done to stop these evil ones. Did God plan for this humanity which He created to act this way? They are all liers, thieves, and murderers. I guess we really didn’t have much choice in 2008, did we? Any of the 3 would have been disastrous. They all need to be in jail. I just hope we have enough prison space for all of the ones who need to go.

get a load of this and England is our ally? I hardly think so.

Lawyers! What a crock of B.S. Whose law is higher, that of the barristers or God? This simple question reveals the whole of the spiritual battle we find ourselves in today. The barristers (the intellectual goons of the elite) wish to be God and in order to diminish the highest law of land and the voice of the people, they know that God may necessarily not be at the top of the pecking order. The DOI was not a request…it was not an adjudication of contract, but rather a DECLARATION that human beings made in the image of God had certain inalienable rights. It was a declaration of war against an unreasonable and unbearable tyranny. In essence, we live on conquered ground and until someone throws us off of it, the law here is what we have made it “under God”. This is what we as a society have collectively forgotten and it has made us willing targets of subversion.

I adhere to the original 13th Amendment and see the link Heather posted as a perfect example as to the origin of the amendment. The only way I have to enforce it is with my vote. So how many lawyers (Esquires) do you plan to vote for?

England always has wahted us back. It ticked them off that we fought against them to gain our independance. And I don’t think Lincoln was right. The states do have the constitutional right to succede . He wanted to hold the union together but I think he was wrong. Anyway, who are the British to say whether one of our presidents was right or wrong?

  28. 94 Tenacity October 23, 2011 at 8:45 pm

Completely OT (or is it?) Just had to share 2 quotes with you:

‘Today’s Scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality.”

“The scientists from Franklin to Morse were clear thinkers and did not produce erroneous theories. The scientists of today think deeply instead of clearly. One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite insane.”

    Both quotes by Nikola Tesla

I have often thought there was a fine line between genius and insanity. Perhaps Tesla defined that line. Think about the computer models used to predict global warming. Think about the arguments in favor of macro evolution. On higher ground, there is clarity. How often have we described the world today as insane?

This CHANGE is happening now and it truly is a complete circumvention of the Constitution that takes voting power away from “We The People”.

    • 96 Tenacity October 23, 2011 at 9:45 pm

This is where the dumbing down has brought us. I am intolerant of those that use the word ‘democracy’ in describing our form of government. After the fraudulent ratification of the 17th, the logical ‘progression’ is kill the electoral college which would truly make us a democracy and destroy the republic. When the word communism became unpopular, the term socialist replaced it. When socialism became unpopular, the word democracy replaced it. Our founders despised democracy and our constitution was written to prevent democracy. Democracy (mob rule) does NOT protect individual rights. Democracy is a temporary, unstable and transitional form of government in route to oligarchy. Thus, getting rid of the electoral college is the next sequential step toward dictatorship.

I know I’m preaching to the choir here, but hopefully someone dumbed down will see it.

Bravo… applause… you knocked that one out of the park.

“A lady asked Dr. Franklin Well Doctor what have we got a republic or a monarchy. A republic replied the Doctor if you can keep it.” — Benjamin Franklin

These heathans have got to be stopped! We can’t allow this to happen. We are so in need of a hugh presence in Dc to put a demand to end of all of this tyranny. Can’t these stupid elected officials see that they are killing themselves and us? In our government the states have more rights than the federal government. The founders were adament about that .That was the big objection by many states in ratifying the constitution. they feared the federal government having too many rights and too much authority.

Over the last few days we’ve demonstrated that there is a plan to bring society into a cashless system run by the very banks currently being protested by the Occupy Wall St. movement.

We’ve even seen examples, like in Louisiana, where cash transactions are being banned.

Piece by piece, step by step, we are being led into a system where EVERYTHING you do is regulated, controlled, and tracked, by the banks.

This segment from the Corbett Report elaborates on what that society will look like, and it’s not pretty…

    Eligibility rulings vanish from Net
Online Supreme Court opinions scrubbed in 2008 election runup

A New Jersey attorney who brought the first legal challenge to Barack Obama’s occupancy in the Oval Office to the U.S. Supreme Court has published a report revealing that references to a U.S. Supreme Court decision addressing the definition of “natural-born citizen” were scrubbed at one of the key online resources for legal documents.

The Minor v. Happersett case is significant because it is one of very few references in the nation’s archives that addresses the definition of “natural-born citizen,” a requirement imposed by the U.S. Constitution on only the U.S. president.

    That case states:

The Constitution does not in words say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.”
Jerome Corsi’s New York Times best-seller, “Where’s the Birth Certificate?”, which addresses Obama’s Social Security Number and a host of other disputes, is now available for immediate shipping, autographed by the author, only from the WND Superstore

In the dispute over Obama’s eligibility, dating back to before his election, it has been argued that the Minor case does not apply. Some have argued that it applies only to voting rights.

But now Leo C. Donofrio, whose original Donofio v. Wells against the New Jersey Secretary of State alleged Obama does not meet the Constitution’s Article 2, Section 1 “natural-born citizen” demand for presidents because of his dual citizenship at birth, has released research suggesting that even as Obama was preparing to be the Democratic candidate for president in 2008, someone was scrubbing court records of that case.

“New evidence conclusively establishes that 25 U.S. Supreme Court opinions were sabotaged then republished at Justia.com during the runup to the ’08 election,” he reported

Rick Perry: Have I seen Obama’s real birth certificate?

The latest person expressing a bit of doubt about the authenticity of Barack Obama’s purported birth certificate is none other than Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

The Republican presidential hopeful is the subject of a long question-and-answer report in today’s edition of Parade Magazine.

Autographed copies of Jerome Corsi’s “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” are available only from the WND Superstore

The relevant portion concerning the issue of the president’s eligibility was addressed briefly in this transcript:

Q: Governor, do you believe that President Barack Obama was born in the United States?

Perry: I have no reason to think otherwise.

    Q: That’s not a definitive, “Yes, I believe he”–

Perry: Well, I don’t have a definitive answer, because he’s never seen my birth certificate.

    Q: But you’ve seen his.

    Perry: I don’t know. Have I?

The thing that bothered me about this interview was he said at the end, “it doesn’t matter as he was elected president, its just a distraction”. Again, they go right up to the line but FAIL when it comes to the constitution.

I have had this fear that the government would come to my property and say that my house is too big for one person. It’s not as big as a lot of homes but I do have spare bedrooms. Of course, they want to heard us all into highrises in cities and let the rural areas go back to nature. A person in my area who is reporting a lot about agenda 21 says that only 6% of the US is developed. These people, as we know, are crazy.
