PERHAPS if it were emphasized that in the Law of Nations (Article I) that the children born overseas “in the armies of the state” are natural born citizens, that the “blackmail” the Dems hold over the GOP would be de-nutted.

Arnold was a governor. There were slight rumors that he would run for Prez, but he never did, and there was no serious effort in that direction. So it did not start with him.
The question you asked puzzled many good constitutionalists and rank-and-file Republicans as well, since 2008. In my humble opinion the answer is two folded:
1. The Dem’s Alinsky-methods to ridicule, call names and conspiracy theorists anyone who even mentioned this question, worked. Even among grass-root Reps. I know several good conservative people with whom I cannot even mention the subject because they think it is beyond rational thought.
2. What I call the “Rove Doctrine”. He and many Establishment Reps declared that the issue should not be used because it would hurt the GOP. All leading GOP politicians followed the doctrine including our favored RP.
Rove never fully explained why. Probably because he wanted to avoid race implications, but it is obvious that this is the doctrine’s the focal point. That the GOP will be called racists, possible riots will break out and overall the GOP will be damaged at the election. This doctrine is fundamentally wrong. There would not be riots and overall there would be far more benefit than damage.
The GOP leaders seem to forget that the voting group they are trying to gratify will vote Dem, rain or shine. There are several other points one could make to disprove the Rove Doctrine, but that is the main point.
There were no riots over Nixon or Clinton, that is just an excuse so they can further their program.
FIRE EVERYONE OF THEM if there is an election in November.

After commenting above, I listened to the entire Sellin interview, all 49 minutes and 20 seconds of it. The Arnold issue was mentioned only once as a peripheral issue.
This is an excellent interview and I agree with everything what Sellin says except the high emphasis that the GOP is afraid of uncovering the fraud because the public would demand a new political structure, which would be financially disadvantageous for the GOP.
He gives an excellent history of the eligibility deal between the Dems and the Reps. However, that deal was 4 years ago. McCain is no longer a player, so forget it, and if you are a GOP candidate use it to your advantage, as Trump suggested to Romney.
I would love to force my Congressman to sit and listen to this and then give me answers.
If your Congressman is a Dem he will cut you off before you finish your request. If he is a Rep he will say: “the most important thing is that the GOP wins in November.” That is the standard line provided by the “Rove Doctrine”. Congress has abandoned the people and the constitution.

Thirteen Democrats joined Republicans in voting for the Red Tape Reduction and Small Business Job Creation Act, which passed 245-172.
House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., said during debate on the bill Wednesday the president has issued “more than 106 major rules costing more than $46 billion.” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith, R-Texas, cited a poll indicating 85 percent of small businesses are not hiring because they fear new government regulations, The Hill said.
“President Obama has turned America into a regulation nation,” Smith said.

I was raised on the border…and THAT’S why I need my Constitutional and God-given right to protect me and mine.
The events of this coming Fall with the conventions and elections ( if they are allowed to occur ) will be monumental —bordering on those of the 1860’s time period. All of Congress, the Supreme Court, the Chiefs of Staff, and a large portion of the conscious public know that the current occupant of the White House and his appointed government are not legal by Constitutional standards. We have operated for 3 1/2 years under a make believe government with very unfavorable results.
What will be the reaction ?? Congress has gone on as if all were well and drawn their pay. Other departments have functioned in violation of the Constitution and their charter. Portions of the military have violated their sworn duties –the list goes on. The ground swell is growing and the rumblings of loyal elements of the military forming up to restore order are encouraging. The action of the respective conventions will , in my opinion, tell th tale as to what will be required to save our country.
We shall see.
And homeland security has ordered massive amounts of riot gear for the upcoming gop convention and the inaugeration in jan.

That said, I know that Satan loves to produce fear, and while keeping an eye out, I can’t help but feel this as fear mongering at its height. “only calls from police officers and military”, how do we know who they are? We have also heard this very same warning for more than a year now.
What is the result of fear? Panic and paralysis; perhaps over-reactive to any military or police presence, suspicion, division. Think about this and take everything with a critical eye. Check it out with God.
