National Preparedness

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this thirty-first day of August, in the year of our Lord two thousand eighteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-third.

President Trump declared September as the National Preparedness Month:

National Preparedness Month is a time to focus our attention on the importance of preparing our families, homes, businesses, and communities for disasters that threaten our lives, property, and homeland.  During this time, we also honor the brave men and women who selflessly respond to crises and disasters, rendering aid to those in need.  These first responders, who work tirelessly to safeguard our Nation and protect our citizens, deserve our utmost gratitude and appreciation.

Over the past year, communities nationwide and across the Territories have witnessed and endured damage from multiple hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, floods, volcanic eruptions, and other natural disasters.  The historic hurricane season of 2017 included three catastrophic storms that made landfall within a month, and was followed by a destructive series of wildfires in California.  Combined, these natural disasters affected 47 million people and tens of thousands were mobilized to provide aid, comfort, and assistance.  We are also especially mindful of those currently affected by ongoing wildfires in California, Oregon, and Colorado.  In spite of tremendous challenges, the resilience of the American people continues to prevail.

Tragedies are somber reminders that preparedness is a shared responsibility and that it is critical to maintain readiness.  All Americans can prepare for potential disasters by developing and practicing a family emergency response plan, assembling a disaster supply kit, signing up for alerts on mobile devices, setting aside emergency savings, and maintaining adequate insurance policies for their homes and businesses.  The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Ready Campaign outlines other important steps to best prepare for a major disaster.

This month, I encourage all Americans to take the opportunity to ensure they have an emergency response plan in place and ready to be properly executed.  Emergencies and disasters test the resilience and strength of families, communities, and our Nation.  It is impossible to avoid every challenge and threat, but we can and must prepare for them.  By doing so, we can help protect our communities and save lives.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim September 2018 as National Preparedness Month.  I encourage all Americans, including Federal, State, and local officials, to take action to be prepared for disaster or emergency by making and practicing their emergency response plans.  Each step we take to become better prepared makes a real difference in how our families and communities will respond and persevere when faced with the unexpected.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this thirty-first day of August, in the year of our Lord two thousand eighteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-third.

From what you have learned over the last two years and all that you do know about who the villains really are, take a look below and see if this changes your perspective on the declaration!

How many have known that the United States has been bankrupt since…what 1931?  And the “Federal” Reserve’s role?  The socialist democrats will use the disaster to promote government take-over of the economy, just like Venezuela.  The Americans will right this ship correctly and then restructure for the better.

This is why you must elect republicans who support Trump, and censure the rogue politicians who have their own anti-American agenda. And we must re-elect our President in 2020. Situational awareness important for all. Vote.

These liberal commies are pushing for crime across the country to distract and terrorize all voters.

Trump is trying to prepare all of us for what he sees coming. We know that Trump is brilliant and he sees all and well beyond whats to come.

OT-my statement, my heart went out to our POTUS today when Meghan McCain spewed her hatred for him in the house of our Lord today. She never uttered his name but it was clear who she was refering to – so much so that audience knew and applauded. She showed she was exactly like her father, evil and vindictive. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Ivanka, Jarrod, Gen Kelly and Mattis also sat through that and I am sure they were speechless.

Meghan has a strange unhealthy father daughter relationship. She is one spoiled arrogant brat that needs to know she isnt special and that the name McCain will not get her where she thinks she should be.

Joe Libermans speech was well delivered and it was almost as if he had taken notes during her rant because he had added a few statements that he stumbled on during the opening of it. He never degraded Trump. Unlike Bush and obama who both made their speeches about Trump and not so much mccain. What a joke that ceremony was and poor Cindy was lost in space.

As far as Palin and Trump being uninvited the media said it was Cindy’s wish they werent but after Meghans hate filled rant it was apparent Meghan decided. And what ever did Palin do to McCain and family to be uninvited…I wonder if we will ever know.

Sorry I had to add my 2 cents of how the swamp was all together today.

McCain’s wish to be buried in Annopolis is a direct slap in the face to his family. How selfish and arrogant to think he is above being buried with his family. Once again it’s all about him.

    This is his Navy legacy.

Did You notice – it did NOT explain his 4th loss on his carrier where 147 Gi’s were burned to death
from him showing off by doing a “Hot Start” and consequently firing one of his rockets off his
plane – nearly sinking the ship Kittyhawk, while blowing up more planes! He was flying again a couple days
later – off another ship where he was quickly assigned and the story was covered up. Thanks Dad!

He was No “friend” of most Vets!!

    Interesting ..

“A “war hero” doesn’t finish 894th out of 899 and still get stationed at a Navy champagne unit and promoted ahead of all but two of his 898 other classmates.

A “war hero” doesn’t crash three U.S. Navy jets out of sheer incompetence and ineptitude, including two during non-combat training sessions.

A “war hero” doesn’t get written up on drunk-and-disorderly, fraternization, disobeying orders, and insubordination charges more than two dozen times in less than three years.

A “war hero” doesn’t get promoted to squadron commander of the air field named after his own grandfather immediately after crashing his third airplane. A “war hero” doesn’t have all the military records that cover his time in Vietnam and all disciplinary actions against him censored and sealed “as a matte r of national security.” A “war hero” doesn’t get 28 medals awarded all after-the-fact “for bravery” for no other reason than being shot down and captured and then go on a celebrity public relations tour because he’s the son of two acclaimed Navy admirals. A “war hero” doesn’t repeatedly cheat on the wife who’s back in the states waiting for him, and then cheat on her more when he returns to the states, and then divorce and abandon her!

A “war hero” doesn’t systematically vote against every single pay and benefit increase for military and veterans throughout his entire political career, all the while claiming to be “the soldier’s Congressman,” and then take credit for the passage of a G.I. benefits bill he that voted AGAINST. A “war hero” McCain III lost jet number one in 1958 when he plunged into Corpus Christi Bay while practicing landings. He was knocked unconscious by the impact coming to as the plane settled to the bottom. McCain’s second crash occurred while he was deployed in the Mediterranean. “Flying too low over the Iberian Peninsula,” Timberg wrote, “he took out some power lines [reminiscent of the 1998 incident in which a Marine Corps jet sliced through the cables of a gondola at an Italian ski resort, killing 20] which led to a spate of newspaper stories in which he was predictably identified as the son of an admiral.”

McCain’s third crash three occurred when he was returning from flying a Navy trainer solo to Philadelphia for an Army-Navy football game. Timberg reported that McCain radioed, “I’ve got a flameout” and went through standard relight procedures three times before ejecting at one thousand feet. McCain landed on a deserted beach moments before the plane slammed into a clump of trees. McCain’s fifth loss happened during his 23rd mission over North Vietnam on Oct. 26, 1967, when McCain’s A-4 Skyhawk was shot down by a surface-to-air missile. McCain ejected from the plane breaking both arms an d a leg in the process and subsequently parachuted into Truc Bach Lake near Hanoi. For 23 combat missions (an estimated 20 hours over enemy territory), the U.S. Navy awarded McCain a Silver Star, a Legion of Merit for Valor, a Distinguished Flying Cross, three Bronze Stars, two Commendation medals plus two Purple Hearts and a dozen service medals. “McCain had roughly 20 hours in combat,” explains Bill Bell, a veteran of Vietnam and former chief of the U.S. Office for POW/MIA Affairs — the first official U.S. representative in Vietnam since the 1973 fall of Saigon. “Since McCain got 28 medals,” Bell continues, “that equals out to about a medal-and-a-half for each hour he spent in combat. There were infantry guys — grunts on the ground — who had more than 7,000 hours in combat and I can tell you that there were times and situations where I’m sure a prison cell would have looked pretty good to them by comparison.”” C Hoffman

Jan-all right on and there’s more of the same stunts –where he did everything he could to “bury” the facts of the POW’S in Vietnam from the Pentagon. Year after year it was investigated and he covered it up and then comes in John Kerry who helps with the cover up.

A war hero? I think Trump got it so right when he said, “a hero doesnt get caught”. McCain is no hero. My exhusband was a war hero, he was MIA in Vietnam at age 21 and missing for 2 yrs–and never sang like a bird. He was a hero, not McCain.

Conservatives only voted for McCain over Obama because Obama was a usurper.

Does anyone remember when obama threw out the 35 Russians just before Trump was sworn in? I always thought how odd that was and why he did it–hmm where they obamas spies!
