The Silence

A few years ago, a friend visited the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial in the village of Margraten, about six miles from Maastricht. There lie buried 8,301 American soldiers killed in the battles to liberate Holland in the fall and winter of 1944-5. Sgt. Bill Dukeman, 101st Airborne Division, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, Second Battalion, Company C (of “Band of Brothers fame) is buried there. He was killed in the battle of “The Crossroads” in northern Holland.

The Dutch hold an annual memorial concert every September at the above cemetery to remember and honor the Americans who died to free them in Operation Market Garden and subsequent efforts to eject the German army from Holland. Sgt. Dukeman, like many other fallen GIs, was “adopted” by a Dutch family. Dukeman’s family in the States was contacted and hosted in Holland, and his grave site decorated each year by his Dutch “family.” They keep his portrait in their home, displayed in a place of honor. Fathers pass this obligation down to their sons in Holland. This version of the original “taps” music is played by a 13 year old Dutch girl named Melissa Venema. The conductor of the orchestra is Andre Rieu from Holland.

Many of you may never have heard taps played in its entirety . The original version of Taps was called Last Post, and was written by Daniel Butterfield in 1801. It was rather lengthy and formal, as you will hear in this clip, so in 1862 it was shortened to 24 notes and re-named Taps.   Melissa Venema is playing it on a trumpet whereby the original was played on a bugle.

Have a happy Independence Day!

In the Grief of the Moment

©2011 drkate

Thank you, readers, for your kindness, words, and responses to the events of my August post Shelter.  Words can never express my gratitude and appreciation.

This post is written in gratitude to all of you who read and comment here, and takes a slightly different course to speak in a personal way of how much this struggle for our liberty means to me…and how it has changed me to the core. The recent loss of my mother, 96, and the despair following has had many  unexpected challenges which just are what they are, and fortunately due to God’s grace brought deeper understandings of loss and necessary rebuilding and growth.

My Mother’s parents were both born in the 1880’s, and together with my Mom (b.1915) spanned 130 years of American life…the crucial decades we now analyze  and identify the events have led to our present situation in 2011.  And it occurred to me one night as I grieved the loss of her life and its meaning, that grief’s intensity also spanned that period of time…during which unscrupulous men and women sewed the seeds of the destruction of America.  As I got to that painful yet exquisite core out came the twin realization discerned of needing to grieve and mourn for both.  This took my breath away and I fell to my knees in prayer and gratitude.

There are not orderly ‘stages’ of grief, although Kübler-Ross broke necessary and important ground in helping people understand their feelings of loss.  It is more of a crazy journey through a wilderness chocked full of sorrow, craziness, anger, fear, deep sadness, and unsteadiness, and it is lonely, uncertain, paralyzing, depressing, physical, uncharted, scary, dark, and dangerous.  There are moments of peace, light, relief, guilt, and sometimes forgiveness.  The ground is shaken under your feet and the old familiar bearings lost.  New signposts must be found, created, and remembered.  Almost everything in your own life is revisited, including the events that brought you here to this moment in time.

While  grief is the inward process of reconciling and becoming after a loss, mourning is its outward expression, engaged by sharing, listening, action, and ritual.  It is necessary to mourn in order to complete the honor, to remember, to grow.  Thus the imperative of grief requires work, it is not passive.

Finding America

Into the abyss of grief we have all gone as we watch our America as it has been twisted and turned into something it was never intended to be. The America of before is no more; of the ancestors of my grandparent’s generation, of my mother’s; of yours.

Yet, that we still stand on these pages, in our communities, and before God still hanging on to American principles and foundations is testament to our resilience, love, and holy and human purpose.  But we have been hurt deeply, must name this treachery, grieve the loss, and rebuild.  Like going all the way back to the core, in the labyrinth of our history, to find our way out again.

While we seldom express it, there is grief about the loss of America and that is why the whole Obama mess and our growing awareness feels so crazy, and we are consumed with worry, anger, fear, sadness, guilt. There is also a paralysis that comes with this overwhelming grief.

Do I feel grief that I lived most of my life not seeing or recognizing this?  Absolutely.  America gone?  😯  It is as devastating as losing a loved one.  Will I let this grief control me?  No, but, it is clear that we must name it, understand it, and think outside the box for the solution.  What if the solution involved going to our own core and then collectively–without ego–find our way back out again?  Restudying history, smashing the vortex, the false labyrinth evil has created?:

We mourn our loss by sharing on these pages, by analyzing history, by marching to Washington, by anger and frustration.  We are asking for help and seeking His blessing and grace as we pray.  We are calling our ancestors and the Founders of this Nation for help and hope they are rallying to our side.  Sleepless nights, restless  and troubled dreams when we finally rest.

I have faith that we will find our way home and then rebuild with the vigor and principles that brought us here to this moment…for all of our lives have combined to bring us out NOW.  The hope of our children, our Nation, indeed the world rest on us finding this way out of the abyss.  And hope is knowing that this feeling, and our grief and paralysis, won’t last forever.

Psalm 140

For Protection against enemies

  1. Deliver me, O  Lord, from the evil man, preserve me from the violent man;
  2. Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war
  3. They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders’ poison is under their lips. Selah
  4. Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
  5. The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah
  6. I said unto the Lord, Thou  art my God; hear the voice of my supplications O Lord
  7. O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou has covered my head in the day of battle
  8. Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked; further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah
  9. As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
  10. Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
  11. Let not an evil speaker be estabished in the earth; evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
  12. I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.
  13. Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.

Rosemary for Remembrance

I will honor my Mother and Father by devoting my being to the return of the America they built.

Liberty Requires It.

eastern montana

On a road trip out of the northern Rockies, into the high plains of Montana and North Dakota, time provided the opportunity to contemplate my journey on the liberty road.   I have a professional life around water that few have experienced; I have only recently–in the last two years–come to realize what we truly are facing; and now find myself  facing the walls I and others have carefully constructed in my own mind over a lifetime.

The two experiences I would like to share this early morning revolve around ‘the rules’–and our strong sense of obligation to follow them. The first is about my business, the second about the Third Continental Congress, scheduled to have election of new officers on April 11, 2010.

The Siege of Washington

©2010 drkate

I am reminded this early morning of George Washington and all of our Founders… of the Second Continental Congress which led our country during the war for independence and until the Constitution was in effect… and our founding documents which now pave the way for the revolution of a corrupt government.

We have the inherent right as a free people to cast off tyranny, and to form a new government that lives by the principles of the Constitution for the United States, which serves our needs.  And we have the tools to bring about this revolution peaceably as our Founders created and passed them to us.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable ~ John F. Kennedy

In theory, the entire government should resign as well as a great deal of the federal work force.  They all took an oath to uphold the Constitution and by their silence and game playing they are complicit.   But they are comfortable, are deluded with power, and comfortable in their misery.   And just this week, we see the left, alinsky baiting machine in full swing–they want us to adopt the same failed, discrediting tactics of violence they used in the ’60s and ’70s.

The government has become the enemy of the Constitution, and has breached its contract with the American people.

The People are Coming, and We’re Not Leaving

The Third Continental Congress (TCC) ratified the official Articles of Freedom tonight, January 31, 2010, in an official webinar which at one point had 61 participants representing 31 states.  Our votes were tallied by state, so each state delegation had to coordinate their vote.  The final official Articles of Freedom document will be available on Tuesday morning, as well as a brand new Third Continental Congress website.

As with all of the Continental Congress’ in our Nation’s history, many of those who began in November did leave, for various reasons including serious differences of opinion. The final vote was 26 in favor, 1 opposed, and 1 abstention.

The Articles of Freedom are for the American people.  Tonight we rest; tomorrow, our feet, hearts, and minds hit the ground running.

The Works of the
Continental Congress

The Continental Congress 2009 is near ratification of the Articles of Freedom.  Delegates have worked tirelessly since November 21 to finalize a stylized version that reflects the will of the delegates.

Oh we all agonize over unfinished business, and making sure it is readable, not elitist; that it embraces and does not turn away.  Eleven days we had, compared to our Founders who endured a war, years of debate, and five months of finalizing that amazing document known as the Constitution for the United States of America.  Did I tell you how much respect  I have for our Founders, and how I regret the paucity of brilliance, selflessness, and timelessness in our society today?

Freedom Festivals

The Third Continental Congress (CC2009) delegates will be hard act work after the first of the year spreading these Articles of Freedom (AoF) far and wide.  The hope is that people will embrace them as a vehicle through which to express the  general ‘angst’ felt among the public.  For example,  the AoF can be used as a ‘constitutional checklist’ for your candidate, no matter at what level and across parties.

Here is a Freedom Festival in Washington State with Jeff Williams, CC2009 delegate.  There is a lot of activity on liberty springing out across the land! 🙂

The Accountability Clause

©2009 drkate

The Third Continental Congress’ findings regarding the last ten words, or the Accountability Clause of the First Amendment,  from the Articles of Freedom:

Wherefore, We the People now find the three branches of government to be in violation of the Accountability Clause of the First Amendment of the Constitution; the public officials to be guilty of dereliction of duty in violation of their Oath of Office; and their actions, as listed in the aforementioned Petitions for Redress, to be outside the boundaries drawn around their power and, therefore, unconstitutional.

It is a known fact that the ratification of the Constitution by several states hinged upon the secure passage of a “Bill of Rights”  to protect the states from the newly created federal government.  The states feared the power of a central government–after all, they had just emerged from a war with one. Thus the first ten amendments to the Constitution for the United States can be considered the States’ mechanism for enforcement of the Constitution.

“Truths are Self-Evident”

©2009 drkate

Through the painstaking examination  of our Constitutional Republic, Constitution, where we let it get off course and why, and who was involved, we are reminded again, this time by the Charlotte Observer in “Truths are Self-Evident” , that the solution IS the Constitution.  It is good to know that we are not alone, and a mass awakening is happening.

There is no other course but to get back to the founding principles of our Country, no matter how much these principles have been ridiculed and ignored, or how long it has taken, or will take,  to build this awareness in our citizenry.  From the article:

The Waiting is Over

©2009 drkate

It’s that moment when you realize this is what you’ve been waiting for.  A gift of sight on the purpose.  And like blocks, fitting into place, the sounds, smells, and memories of that gift, shown by times past flashing quickly through your mind, just lock right together and into place.  Falling Rising into place.  And the waiting has had its purpose too.

Yes, the time has slipped on by, but the moment has now arrived.  The Articles of Freedom will be published this week, and then we all begin our person to person, county by county, state by state, campaign to Restore the Constitution.

Prayer For the Continental Congress 2009

©2009 drkate

Each and every day of the CC2009, we began with this prayer.  I was moved to tears, and then with great responsibility, each time this prayer was read.  And I began to ask for forgiveness for my transgressions, for my laziness, for my lack of eternal vigilance for liberty, for the comforts in my life which lull me into thinking someone else will save our country.

I have been eternally transformed by this event; my life now takes its true course.

….a typical day at the Continental Congress 2009…began for me at 2:30 am, when I went to bed…

Each day at the CC2009 was a long one…beginning at 8 am in the auditorium for learning from experts on various constitutional subjects.  We started the day with a prayer, the pledge of allegiance, and the delegate from New Hampshire cheering, “long live the Constitution!” …after gradually getting used to being awake so soon after going to bed, this was our rallying cry to get to work each day.

Articles of Freedom-The Outline

©2009 drkate

The Articles of Freedom, soon to be published on line in its entirety, is more than just a patriotic ‘feel good statement’. As you will find, it is the culmination of decades of work.  We have exercised our right of petition for redress, which has been ignored with contempt as violations of the Constitution become the rule.

For a first glimpse of the work we did, and what is up-coming, please visit the Continental Congress 2009 Articles of Freedom site.  The Continental Congress 2009 believes that 3%-5% of the American population involved in this effort is enough to shift our government back to Constitutional governance.

A Tipping Point?

©2009 drkate

I wish you all a joyous Thanksgiving, grateful for all blessings in this life in whatever form they come.  I personally believe even the hardest times bring gifts for which we can be forever grateful.

As I drove across the country on my way home from the CC2009, I stopped in little cafes, family-owned gas stations, and the regular truck stops that dot the interstate highway system.  I wore my “In Solidarity CC2009”  pin, which was a magnet for questions and conversation.

In conversations over coffee, in line to pay for items, at the gas pump, I found people hungry for information…some explanation…something is wrong in America and the citizenry are greatly troubled….

Natural Born Citizenship and National Security

© 2009 drkate

For more than a year, our legitimate questions of Barack Obama’s eligibility have been dumbed down, ridiculed, and ignored as if to even raise the issue was somehow racist, anti-American, and being a ‘sore loser’.

Our opposition has used every tool and resource to obfuscate the truth, and the Courts have all ducked their responsibility using various  technicalities of law to deny standing and jurisdiction, or stating the absurdity that properly brought constitutional cases are a ‘political question.’  Is the Constitution now up for a vote?

Well personally I am sick of it, and refuse to back down.  The people who are ‘dumb’ about this issue are the Congress, Obama, Gibbs, the obots, and the media.  We know it, and they do too.

I was thus surprised and humbled be appointed the chair the Subcommittee on Article II Eligibility at the Continental Congress 2009.   A chance to do something about this had dropped in my lap!

The will of the body, united as a whole on behalf of the American people, prevailed today.  Thank you for your help!

With tears, humility, grace, compromise, faith, courage, and shouts of ‘liberty!’, ‘long live the Constitution!’, the Continental Congress 2009 adjourned, set our papers and subcommittees and debates aside, and agreed upon our final product, called “The Articles of Freedom”…steps to restoring our Constitutional Republic.  I respectfully await the Continental Congress 2009 final report, which will be extensively discussed here, to provide a full the set of amazing products that emerged from this body.

We had to put our egos aside; the walls in our minds had to come down; we had to be humbled by our imperfection; and we had to find our common bond.

Divine Providence touched us throughout our journey here, especially during the most difficult times. We actually DID operate on about 4 hours of sleep each night for 11 days, and once again, here I am writing about it when I should be in bed–oh, wait..this is the ‘usual’ time I begin to wind down for the evening! 😯  It could have been ‘a study of sleep deprivation’!

The Difficult Questions

©2009 drkate

If you ever really wanted to understand what the Founders faced and felt, watch our live debate at the Continental Congress 2009.  Not that we, as a body, could ever replace what the original Founders created, nor really can we equate ourselves with them,  but surely the questions we face in the room are those that arose then too…

You can imagine–‘life, liberty, and property’; the terms used for every concept; listening for divine providence, listening to each other; hoping for grace, humility, forgiveness, love, and understanding.

I ask for your prayers, thoughts, energies, well-wishes, and blessings for this day at the Continental Congress 2009, as we craft our first steps to overcome the tyranny that has replaced liberty…on our lands, in our government, sometimes in our hearts which imprisons our minds.  Help us find the liberty we all seek.

Up All Night, for Days…

©2009 drkate

The Continental Congress 2009 debated until 1:30 this morning, and as I write this, the first time I’ve had a chance to sleep I’m still up. 😯

We have all been working all night long…take a stroll in the hotel at 3 am and you see assembled delegates and laptops, books, intense discussion, and the whirring printer.

I have an exciting report for you covering many topics, and I can say that the assembly of delegates, debates, subjects, and voting  have been extremely interesting.  But the report will not come this morning, as we have another day of debate, decisions, and begin to craft our Articles of Association.

Have a great day, consider this an open thread, and I will join you later on today.  Revolution Radio will be broadcast live at 8:00 CST on November 19.  Don’t forget to watch the livestreaming of the Continental Congress at Give Me Liberty!

George Washington’s Farewell Address to the American People

©2009 drkate

Note: I am reposting this address as it was the topic of the Continental Congress 2009 discussion today.  Delegate after delegate were stunned to hear this address, as it seems Washington was predicting the calamity that has befallen the United States now.

Washington crossing the Delaware

Washington crossing the Delaware

In continued celebration of Constitution Day, September 17,  a focus on President George Washington’s Farewell Address to the American People seems both appropriate and timely.

Washington had stunned his colleagues by refusing to stand as a candidate for President as the United States prepared for its second Presidential election, explaining why it was necessary for him personally and for the growth of the young country. The spirit of liberty and the administration of a government based on these principles deeply motivated Washington:

The Last Legal War

©2009 drkate

The War Powers clause of the Constitution dictates that Congress, and Congress alone, shall have the power to declare war.  For it is the gravest decision a nation can ever make, and the Founders were fearful to place this power in the hands of an Executive.   By August of 1787, the entire Congress knew that the Constitution governs war; and that Congress would be the ultimate decision-maker in the decision to go to war.  Once in war, the Commander in Chief is indeed expected to properly prosecute and manage the war.

War2But for the last 50 years, unilateral presidential action has been taken to declare war, and the Congress has abdicated its responsibility to do so.  Both the Executive and the Legislative branch of government have violated the Constitution.

So the last legally-declared war was World War II, and even then we have a historical concern of the actual circumstances under which the United States joined World War II.

Setting the Stage: Constitutional Violations

©2009 drkate

CC2009.Stacked.WhiteBOne of the purposes of the Continental Congress is to document the violations of the Constitution as a record for the American people, the States, and the Congress.  While we settle into discussion of issues as a ‘Committee of the Whole’ and as the “Continental Congress”, we are presented with, each morning and afternoon, an instructional session from various experts.  As we break into committees, we work late into the night…coffee all around after the bar got too roudy!  😆

A report on the violations of the Second Amendment was interspersed with a series of very fine videos, which I offer here for your review.  The first set of films, “No Guns for Negroes”, exposes the racial origin of gun control.  Frankly, I never knew this! 😯  The second film is called “2A, Good for the USA”, explaining why the Second Amendment is so vital to our security and liberty as a people.

The Solution IS the Constitution

©2009 drkate

Oh beautiful, for spacious skies... left my home in Wyoming’s western mountains at 10 pm on Tuesday night…drove through the  clear, star-studded night- with night owls, bison, white jack rabbits trying to hide in the snow, and elk gracing my journey…the night is when the big game come out.  The 10,000 foot pass was as quiet as it could be, save the sounds of the forest alive at night.  I have always felt, driving through the woods at night, that I was passing through someone’s ‘living room’….and it is true that I am.

For amber waves of grain

amber-waves-of-grainCrossing the border into Nebraska, I was greeted at sunrise with miles and miles of wheat  fields and a clear, cloudless sky.  I loaded the book in my cd player, “The 5000 Year Leap: The 28 Great Ideas that Changed the World”. Although any book on tape is necessary when driving in Nebraska to keep oneself awake, this was a particularly poignant book to listen to this delegate traveled to the Continental Congress 2009.

While the sun was rising as I drove, the words I listened to asked a question: would Ben Franklin see our nation today as a rising sun, which he thought in 1787, or would he see a nation in decline, and therefore a setting sun?

Since you don’t read the bills you write, and need assistance in reading and interpreting them anyway, how could we expect you to read and understand Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution???

Tyranny in America: The Judiciary

©2009 drkate

(Author’s Note.  This is a long post, and there is much information to chew on here as well as through the links provided. Consequently I am going to leave this article up for a couple of days.  Thanks for your patience!)

This post continues the Tyranny in America series, and focuses squarely on Article III of the U.S. Constitution, the Judiciary.  Previous essays on tyranny focused on Articles I and II.  “Judicial tyranny” is most associated with the term ‘judicial activism’, which has its origin in the power of  ‘judicial review’.  Would you be surprised to learn that the Founders’ intent was to have an independent judiciary that served to protect the Constitution?

A look at the Judiciary is not of abstract importance now, as threshold Constitutional issues over which the Courts would seem to have jurisdiction are being dismissed using such crass and common tools as ‘ lack of jurisdictional venue’, ‘lack of standing‘, the ‘political question‘,  delays in decision-making, and minute technical language errors of the filings, such as ‘not stating a claim upon which a remedy can be obtained’.

The price of liberty is eternal vigilance–Jefferson

Exasperated by King George’s refusal to listen to the Colonies’ petition for redress of grievances regarding  excessive taxation, brutality, and occupation, our Founders called for the people of each of the colonies to select representatives  to join a Continental Congress. The delegates  met in Philadelphia to weigh the heavy issue of independence or accommodation with the British.

For over 15 years, the King had refused to hear any of the grievances to which the colonists were legally entitled under English laws.  We know the rest of the story: the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and then through Constitutional Convention, the Constitution of the United States of America.

History to Celebrate

On September 17, 1787, forty-two of the 55 delegates to the Constitutional Convention held their final meeting. Only one item of business occupied the agenda that day, to sign the Constitution of the United States of America.  The delegates had gathered daily to work on this document since May 25, 1787.

It had not all been smooth sailing.  According to James Madison’s Notes on the Constitutional Convention, on June 28, 1787, the delegates had reached an impasse in the development of the Constitution.  Small states wanted one-man, one-vote, while the larger states wanted representation apportioned by population.  At this point, the 82-year old Benjamin Franklin stood to plea for compromise, making a motion

… that the assembly institute “prayers imploring for the assistance of heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, (to) be held in this Assembly every morning before we proceed to business.” Roger Sherman seconded the motion.

The Fall of Obama [Update]

©2009 drkate

(Author’s note:  I want to apologize to readers for not being able to post since September 12….I am in an airport today waiting to get back home.  Honestly, I am overwhelmed.  I have had ‘goose bumps’, or ‘chicken skin’ (depending on where you are from) since September 9th when I arrived in DC.  I took hundreds of photos and had a video camera spotting the size of the crowd.  All my ‘tools’ for getting this stuff on a computer are, of course, at home.  But I can promise you when I have recovered from this event those photos, and possibly a youtube, will be posted here for your pleasure.)

“Isn’t it ironic that the worst thing that could have happened to America has brought out the best of America”–Fernley Girl

September 21 officially marks the beginning of the fall season, often that great harvest moon shining overhead.  The air, the smells, the sound, and the sky change when the fall rolls around.  It is my favorite season as it always signals something new, something starting; the questions set before the winter-time reflection sets in.

And gratefully, September brings the fall of Obama: his ACORN buddies caught and their funding lost, voted down; his czars under attack for who they are as well as Obama’s unconstitutional appointment of them.  Two million, plus many more in spirit, took D.C. away from them all on September 12th: Obama, Congress, and the Chicago mob that has invaded the Capitol like a disease.

Patriots Rising

©2009 drkate

We are here

We are here

The time has finally come.  Patriots arriving from all over the country…as individuals, groups of  strangers, mom, dad & the kids,  suddenly sitting, talking and walking together, all with American flags, US Army, Marine, Air Force and Navy insignia t-shirts, hats and uniforms…we recognize each other perhaps by spirit, that which drew us here and millions more in support of our Country.

For the 90-year old woman with the sign ‘don’t pull my plug’, a local Washingtonian, reinforcements have arrived.  Her smile lit up the whole avenue.

For the  bearded veteran, who came from San Diego, who sat quietly in the hotel restaurant, waiting for Patriots to see his sign “I did not vote for obamanation”, and thumbs up all around the dining room.

Greetings like, “hello Patriot”, “thank you for coming”, ‘thank God you are here”, and “USA USA USA”…  And that very interesting and palpable sense that ‘I have seen you before’…as if we have been connecting over time and over the ethers for all of time.

For our wounded soldiers at Walter Reid, hundreds of people stood at the entry way, cheering, thanking our troops, flags waving, horns honking…..

To the ROAR that went up from the crowd when it was announced that the Census Bureau has broken all ties with ACORN…

To Representative Joe Wilson, who raised $700k in 24 hours after his bold statement to Obama, ‘you lie’…

For the informed and educated Americans, who are not going to take it anymore!

For the spontaneous songs, “God Bless America”, “America the Beautiful”, that greeted the Tea Party Express Bus as it rolled into a parking lot filled with hundreds of people.

For the 4,500 buses that have permits to unload passengers in DC for the march, and ‘all the charter buses in Ohio that could be rented are on their way to DC’, to the dozens of bikers spotted on a freeway headed to DC…

It is palpable.  It is real.  The Rise of the American Patriot.  The Rally for the Republic.  The Million Patriot March on DC.

“The Mystery of Banking”

©2009 drkate

I am on the road for the next week and will be reporting on the events surrounding 912 with fairly short posts.

But soon I want to tackle the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and the 16th Amendment to the Constitution, both of which seem to be at the center of the economic portion of the our current Constitutional crisis and economic distress.  In order to understand the significance of both of these topics, it is necessary to understand something  about money.

In the series of articles I have produced on the Constitution, this is the one topic that I have not covered, yet it is key to understanding what must be done to undo the damage done to our Constitutional Republic and the citizenry by the Act and the 16th Amendment.  In fact, a proposed 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution would abolish the Federal Reserve and repeal the 16th Amendment.

In this post, I offer the on-line version of the book, The Mystery of Banking, and I encourage all of you to download it for your edification.  Eventually, I will make this book a whole ‘page’ in this blog, in the form of this link,  along with other key references..

September 12, 2009: Million Patriot March on D.C.

Some months ago, Texasdarlin published my piece Rally for the Republic, which was actually a dream I had as the voices rose and the tea parties began to advance.  As it turns out, many patriots had that dream, and it’s coming true on September 12, 2009, in Washington, D.C…..and all over the country!

Spurred in part by Glenn Beck’s vision of America the day after September 11, 2001, the march in Washington on September 12  is a day we remember that we are all Americans, not democrats, republicans, independents; not ‘of color’, not young, old, or middle aged, but Americans.  And that is what happened to me, as to many, this year: we dropped our labels and became Americans.

There are many resources posted on the right hand side blogroll here, including the main 912 site, which shows all the cooperating organizations; the Tea Party Express, which now will have MSM attending rallies across the country; and links to follow.  A schedule of events is available and you can be sure there will be many youtube videos documenting the entire event.  Please also check out The Dame Truth and Logistics Monster for excellent related stories.
