This phrase (Dereliction of Duty) was first used in connection with O by Alen Keyes who said that SCOTUS practiced it, when refused hearing on merit any of the eligibility cases. No doubt, Keyes is right.
Keyes could have rightfully used the phrase for Congress as well. The checks-and-balances principle no longer works. All three branches of the government are corrupt.
The political parties are not part of the government but should, and occasionally do, function within the checks-and-balances principle.
The GOP believes that the 2012-GOP-candidates would be hurt if the eligibility issue were used. They believe that they can get into the White House on debating policy-issues alone. However, they are unwilling to explain to the voters their logic. Probably, they are thinking that they would loose certain block’s votes. In other words, the (wrongly) perceived tactics trumps the Constitution, as the major players of the GOP all know, that O is not eligible.
As the GOP practices their version of Dereliction of Duty, they are assuring that O will be reelected. The regime can easily raise $1 T, and no GOP candidate can match that. Don’t forget that O’s approval rating is still about 42%. With the huge campaign money, he will easily defeat any GOP nominee.
Certain blocks of voters could not care less about the policy issues. A recent survay showed that about 20% of the voters do not know who the vice president is. How can the GOP influence these people on highly complex policy issues?
The only way the GOP can get the White House is exposing the eligibility issue. However, the leadership of the GOP is dead-set against that – so they are making sure a second term for O.
I couldn’t agree more that the only way a Republican, or an Independent, can take the White House away from Obama/Soetoro in 2012 is to begin exposing Obama/Soetoro for who and what he really is as soon as possible and never, Never, NEVER stop exposing Obama/Soetoro for the ineligible, Marxist, Muslim, racist POTUS he really is.

During his 2008 campaign then Senator Obama traveled to Iraq and discussed U.S. troop withdrawal from Iraq with the Iraqi government without authority from the U.S. government.
Note that 2004 Democratic nominee for POTUS John Kerry also violated the Logan Act when he traveled to Paris in 1972 and discussed ending the Vietnam war with the North Vietnam government, and since he was an Officer in the US Navy and we were still at war with North Vietnam at the time it was also an act of treason.

State Department Promises Move Toward CRC (Convention of the Rights of the Child) Ratification:
On March 10, the Obama administration told the UN Human Rights Council that it supports the UNHRC’s recommendations that the United States should “ratify the Convention on the Rights of the Child [CRC].” Moreover, the administration promised that it “intend[s] to review how we could move toward its ratification.”
In the meantime, SR 99 opposing ratification of the CRC is very close to its first major milestone. As of yesterday, Senator Jim DeMint’s resolution, which expresses the reasons Senators oppose the UN child rights treaty, has 32 cosponsors, with 2 more senators committed to sign next Monday.
This is great news – but it is not enough!
We need to recognize that the Obama administration and the UN will not give up so easily. Thirty-four senators signed a similar measure regarding the Panama Canal treaty a few years ago, and the administration twisted arms until enough changed their minds to ratify that controversial treaty.
We cannot be satisfied with 32 Senators, or even with 34. We need to aim for at least 40 co-sponsors of SR 99 to make sure that the CRC cannot move forward in this term of Congress.

Amazingly, the Rhode Island resolution admits, “If enacted, the [CRC] would become superior to the laws of the states and their judicial systems, and would be subordinate only to the text of the [U.S.] Constitution.”
Any state legislator who wants a treaty to become superior to his or her own state’s law is confessing the inability to enact state laws that are sufficient to protect children. They should do the honorable thing and resign if they feel so incompetent.

I always believed that the impeachment of Nixon, Clinton or Bush was not warranted as doing so would have given strength to our enemy, played havoc on our economy and would have a psychologically negative impact on the American people. At this time, the GOP is controlled by those who think that the eligibility would hurt the future 2012-GOP-candidates. Of course, just the opposite is true and the Republicans are digging their own grave.
How can the GOP convinced? At this time, there is hardly any discussion on this issue. Perhaps it is not too late to discuss and blog it.
Talented opinion leaders like drkate could bring such debate to the forefront. Thereafter, perhaps a letter camping to the GOP could emerge which could convince the GOP leadership or at least one candidate that their present strategy leads to their own demise.

Daniels sent me a copy of the hand-written application of the individual who held the number immediately before Obama’s, 042-68-4424. The applicant, Thomas Wood, died at age nineteen which is why his information is available.
Wood’s Social Security number was issued sometime between March and May of 1977. Obama would turn sixteen in August of that year. Woods lived on Glenview Drive in Newington, Connecticut, the state from which all “042s” applied. Obama lived in Hawaii.

Daniels also sent me a copy of Obama’s Selective Service data. Obama appears to have registered on September 4, 1980, a month after his nineteenth birthday. The form lists the telling last four digits of his “042” number, “4425.”
This is the first use of the “042” number that Daniels could find. She is just not sure it is legitimate. Some have credibly argued that the Selective Service information was forged and backdated once Obama became a presidential candidate.
“They were stupid to use the CT number on the [Selective Service] card,” Daniels adds, “because now there is no way for [Obama] to back out of that number.”
Other than the 1980 Selective Service registration, the first time Daniels could find Obama using the “042” number was in 1986 in Chicago.

US Approaching Insolvency, Fix To Be “Painful”

CNBC.com is reporting that the United States is on a fiscal path towards insolvency and policymakers are at a “tipping point,” a Federal Reserve official said on Tuesday.
“If we continue down on the path on which the fiscal authorities put us, we will become insolvent, the question is when,” Dallas Federal Reserve Bank President Richard Fisher said in a question and answer session after delivering a speech at the University of Frankfurt. “The short-term negotiations are very important. I look at this as a tipping point.”
But he added he was confident in the Americans’ ability to take the right decisions and said the country would avoid insolvency.
“I think we are at the beginning of the process and it’s going to be very painful,” he added.
Fisher earlier said the US economic recovery is gathering momentum, adding that he personally was extremely vigilant on inflation pressures.
“We are all mindful of this phenomenon. Speaking personally, I am concerned and I am going to be extremely vigilant on that front,” Fisher said in an interview with CNBC.
Fisher added that the U.S. Federal Reserve had ways to tighten its monetary policy other than interest rates, including by selling Treasurys, changing reserves levels and using time deposits.
He added that he does not support the Fed embarking on an additional round of quantitative easing (printing money).
“Barring some extraordinary circumstance I cannot foresee … I would vote against a QE3,” Fisher told CNBC. “I don’t think it’s necessary. Again, we have a self-sustaining recovery.”

Just got off the phone with Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocy on Kilmeade & Friends radio. First Brian said he had looked at Factcheck and they stated that they have seen, handled, verified yada, yada the original BC blah, blah. I reminded them that Factcheck is an Annenburg org and bambam used to be on the board of Annenburg so there was probably more than a little “bias” to which it sounded like Steve agreed. I also pointed out that he is/was a DUAL citizen and our Constitution clearly states that Pres and VP must be NBC only. I told them that using their logic, Osama Bin Ladin could come here and impregnate an American woman and that child would be able to become pres to which , I THINK, Doocy replied yes, if he/she was born in America! I will have to listen to the podcast to see if he really said that. When I started making too much sense, they hung up on me but you don’t hear that on the show.

I told them that our Constitution states that the President and VP MUST be Natural Born Citizens specifically, as opposed to Naturalized which is what Barak Obama seems to be since he was, without a doubt, born with dual citizenship. I went on to state that using their logic (apparently meaning our Constitution no longer matters) Osama Bin Ladin could come over here, father a child with an American woman and that child would then be able to become President of the United States. Doocy made the statement that as long as that child was born IN AMERICA, he/she could.
I am flabbergasted that your newspeople seem to be so uneducated about our laws and Constitution that he actually believes this. Our founding fathers were fairly clear in their intent to make sure that no one with dual allegiance would be able to take over OUR COUNTRY (for obvious reasons) and several Supreme Court cases have affirmed the definition of “Born on US soil to 2 US citizen parents with an “S”. Please do, drKate. I fear the media has already marginalized Bachmann to a great extent. I really pay attention to who the media attacks for they tip their hand as to whom they fear. It never fails. The only person who is the exception to such treatment is Ron Paul. The media has made him out to be a nut, but to a great extent he actually is! It doesn’t help his cause that many of his most visible and outspoken followers are “fringeY”, and his foreign policy is naive, at best. I do agree with him about the need for Fed to be audited though.
@ Atilla- while there is no doubt that Sarah Palin was raked over the coals I don’t remember HRC having been given the typical “female” media treatment. She, at least, was treated with respect and was granted gravitas- until the Dems decided behind closed doors to gang up on her at the caucuses, that is.

Since the last election was the first one for me since I moved here, I really paid attention.
And was shocked.
Hillary had to go through the same double standard attacks, just with Sarah Palin it went into something completely hateful and personal.
We have a female chancellor in my country and she too is questioned about her wardrobe and hair style, no male candidate ever is! But the level of pure vile against Hillary and Sarah I had to witness here was beyond believe.
This together with a public collective ass-kissing to Obama, who has nothing to show in experience or competence or integrity. Disgusting, the whole ’08 election was disgusting.

Regarding NATO operations, Article 11 of the North Atlantic Treaty states that its provisions are
to be carried out by the parties “in accordance with their respective constitutional processes,”
implying that NATO Treaty commitments do not override U.S. constitutional provisions
regarding the role of Congress in determining the extent of U.S. participation in NATO missions.
Section 8(a) of the War Powers Resolution states specifically that authority to introduce U.S.
forces into hostilities is not to be inferred from any treaty, ratified before or after 1973, unless
implementing legislation specifically authorizes such introduction and says it is intended to
constitute an authorization within the meaning of the War Powers Resolution.

Well, perhaps he ought to follow the Word of God instead of his conscience (mind) as it can be wrong:o) Zorro whom I assume you’re referring to for Obama, is not the A.C. The A.C. will not even be revealed until the BOC is removed from the earth, and the Lord calls him the Assyrian. Mr. Manning really should learn to rightly divide the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation given to the Apostle Paul, then he would not think that Obama is the one to be fully overtaken by evil. If we listen to the Apostle Paul then the Lord will give us understanding in all things; that is of course for those who are already saved, sealed, and having the mind of Christ.

Dry conditions extending to Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado may cut crop yields in the U.S., the world’s largest exporter, as too much moisture threatens fields in North Dakota and in Canada. Wheat futures in Chicago are up 50 percent in the past year, after drought in Russia and floods in Australia hurt output and sent global food prices surging. Wholesale beef reached a record this week, and the U.S. cattle herd in January was the smallest since 1958.

There are still a lot of supporters for Hillary in the Dem party. However, if she runs, she must resign her job soon. She shows a lot of stress lately. One can almost have sympathy with her. She will not resign for the good of the country, but she may do that for herself.
Remember her lines two years ago, in the campaign: “My opponent does not have American roots.” Her advisers talked her out of continuing that line – causing her to loose the nomination. She could pick it up again – or more likely, she could hope that The Donald or someone else will do that job. I would not count the Clintons out yet.
I am counting the Clintons out…HRC dissed her 18 million voters and has shown herself to be just as much of a communist as Obama. Her attack on guns, her meddling in the middle east… My own view is that it IS over for her in presidential politics…I don’t believe the dems will let her run again as all the stops will be pulled out for obutt. jmho

You could be right, except in the event that the eligibility issue grows to such proportions that it will prevent O’s nomination. In that case, the field will be open for Dem candidates.
